Ahmadinejad’s Vitriolic Rhetoric Regarding Israel

Ahmadinejad Meets with Ultra-Conservative Jews

Adnan Oktar Meets with Jewish Rabbis

Anyone who has heard at least some of the pronouncements, accusations and rhetoric of Iranian President Ahmadinjad, is aware of the fact that he has no love loss for Israel at all.  In fact, the more he speaks, the more he begins to sound like a modern day Adolph Hitler.

While I realize that too many people make a distinction between Israel and the people of Israel, regarding Ahmadinejad’s comments, I’m not convinced that he does make a distinction.  To him, it appears (at least to me), that he only wishes ill will for Israel and that obviously includes the people of Israel as well.

Let’s take a moment to consider some of the things that he has been quoted as saying:

Ahmadinejad quoted a remark from Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of Iran’s Islamic revolution, who said that Israel ‘must be wiped out from the map of the world’.”[1]

In the same article on CNN, he stated, “Ahmadinejad is quoted as saying, ‘Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation’s fury’.”[2]

Interestingly enough, it is no surprise that this man denies the Holocaust ever took place, even going so far as to as to host a conference emphazing those beliefs.

Here is what one British individual said about Ahmadinejad’s rank anti-Semitism during one of his speeches (from 2008 to the UN), “In the words of British politician and former Minister for Europe Denis McShane, Ahmadinejad’s address was ‘probably the most consistently anti-semitic speech by any leader since the end of the Third Reich’…[3]

Tuesday 23 September 2008 will go down in history as the day the United Nations General Assembly provided a platform for a head of state to spew unadulterated, vile anti-semitism – and the assembled nations of the world clapped….” – Anne Bayevsky [4]

Regarding this same speech, Daniel Johnson stated, “This time he went too far. If a western head of state had echoed Adolf Hitler, as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did this week, would Europeans have shrugged their shoulders and dragged their feet over sanctions?

“Yet it seems that the Iranian President is now licensed to blame ‘Zionists’ for everything from the economic crisis to the ‘whole world order’, to threaten Israel’s existence and to use words like ‘cesspool’ to describe its people.  There was a deafening silence in Britain. Prime Minister Brown was too preoccupied with his own survival, making yet another ‘life-or-death’ speech at his Labor Party conference.  The conservative leader David Cameron also ignored the scandal….” [5]

Other world leaders noted his obvious anti-Semitic rhetoric and were appalled, yet Ahmadinejad still stands as the president of Iran.  The U.N., far from sanctioning him, applauded him during his speech.

The day after giving this speech at the U.N., Ahmadinejad met with ultra-conservative Jews who strictly follow the Torah, and who believe that a Jewish state is forbidden prior to the coming of the Messiah.  Apparently, they missed the fact that the Messiah already came and went once.  He’ll be back though.

During his meeting with these ultraconservatives, Ahmadinejad said, “Zionism has greatly weakened and, God willing, it will be destroyed soon and then all Jews, Muslims and Christians can live peacefully with one another.” [6]

These same Jewish rabbis stated this about Ahmadinejad, “That we have the honor and privilege to meet with such a distinguished person who understands the difference between Zionism and Judaism is for us a tremendously happy occasion,” [7]

I’m scratching my head a bit here.  While at least some of the leaders in the world, as well as the news correspondents noted that Ahmadinenad’s rhetoric was nothing more than anti-Semitism, these particular ultra-orthodox rabbis praised the man.  They would probably be wiser to start studying the Quran, to find out exactly what drives the president of Iran.  He cares nothing about Jews.  He wants them out of the Middle East.  He wants the state of Israel dismantled and the only way he is willing to allow individual Jews to remain is if they become subservient to Islam.

Interestingly enough, Muslim Adnan Oktar, who goes by the pen name Harun Yahya, is fully supportive of another Jewish Temple being built on the Temple Mount.  He states that this area should be a place where Jews, Muslims and Christians can come without fear of reprisals from anyone.  Read Yahya’s thoughts in the article below.

No Need to Destroy Dome of the Rock Mosque to Make Room for Jewish Temple

He firmly believes that the time of the coming Mahdi, will bring peace to the Jews, Christians and Muslims.  He is one of the few Muslims that I am aware of who is not only working with Jews, but who seems to genuinely appreciate them as people, as can be seen here:

Harun Yahya’s Work with Jewish Rabbis

Far from hating and spewing anti-Semitic rants and rhetoric, Yahya’s interest is to come to a fair and amicable solution to the problem of the lack of worship space for Jews on the Temple Mount.

If one considers the vast difference between Harun Yahya and President Ahmadinejad, the contrast is stark.  Even Yahya’s demeanor toward Jews is much more than merely “polite.”  He seems to genuinely enjoy being with them as evidenced in the photos seen in the link above.

Reading about Yahya’s growing up years, his education, his adulthood, his work against the alleged science of evolution and even his stay in a mental hospital (on trumped up charges), where he was tortured, and kept against his will on false charges, one gains a strong respect for this man who understands freedom to practice religion and freedom from the unwanted forcing of religious values on someone.

While Ahmadinejad wants to promote nothing but Islamic jihad, at the expense of “zionists,” Yahya is interested in promoting peace, lasting peace.  This is evidenced by any number of books and articles on his website.  This particular article is noteworthy:

A Letter to Muslim, Christian, and Jewish Believers

The difference in approach represented by these two men stems from what is within them.  Of course, looks could always be deceiving and only time will bear that out, but for now, it appears as though Harun Yahya is a man who unlike Ahmadinehad, not only wants peace for Jews, but is willing to help them get there, and still allow them to keep what they already have.

Both men are men to be watched in the coming years.  Both men have goals for Israel and both men say they want peace.  Ahmadinejad wants it by wiping Israel off the world map.  Yahya wants it by bringing people together based on a common bond.

In the long and short run, it may be that Yahya’s version will be the one to play out, at least for a short period of time.  Only time will tell, and only God knows for sure.  My suggestion is that we pay close attention to both individuals as time progresses.

That’s fine that you have that opinion of Ezekiel. What I believe (and numerous other biblical scholars believe) is that Ezekiel 37 occurs in stages. The very LAST stage of it will occur during the Millennium period.

I believe Netanyahu is correct, because it was in 1948 that the dry bones of Israel were resurrected into a state. When happened, the dead language of Hebrew was also resurrected.

Truth be told, Ezekiel 37 does not stand as an island. Like all Scripture, it must be compared with the entirety of Scripture.

What you see as ONE event, I see as a number of stages taking place over a period of time. It seems clear enough to me that God has been drawing Israelites back into the Land and they have been coming back in unbelief. They are not aware of the fact that the Lord Himself is drawing them.

The house of Israel has been resurrected, but they are not at the point where a new spirit has been placed within them. That will occur in the Remnant during the Tribulation period and it is THAT “house of Israel” to which the prophet Ezekiel refers.

    Thanks for your opinion.

While reading your blog on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad described by an Jewish Rabbis as a distinguished person, should read the entirety of the Quran. I found this to be distributing.
Madman Mahmoud Ahmadeinjad has said that Allah has called him to start a holy war.

Netanyahu is wrong, Ezekiel has not been fulfilled. God speaks through Ezekiel in chapter 37, “This is what the Sovereign Lord says; O My people I am going to open your graves and bring them up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you will be My people, will know that I am the Lord when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land.Ezekiel 37:12-14. (and we know that God hasn’t settle with them, if so there would not be chaos in the Middle East. God will control the Middle East once and for all never to exists again.)
The Jewish people will see the Messiah coming in the clouds and they will recognize the one they pierced, and they will mourn for Him and grieve bitterly. On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great. Zechariah 12: 10-11. This proves that Ezekiel has not been fulfilled and Israel will be saved!
