Is Israel the “Fig Tree” of Matthew 24?
I’ve read a number of articles related to the Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24 as I’m sure you have. In fact, I myself have written a number of articles and even one book that deals with the contents of Matthew 24. A number of things bother me about the way people tend to interpret aspects of Matthew 24. I know that sounds arrogant and I don’t intend it to be. I’m simply saying that in some cases, it appears as though people have made connections to things where no connection actually exists.
Such is the case – I believe – with the reference that Jesus makes with the fig tree and the nation of Israel. It is a connection that many have made and continue to make, yet it is one that I believe is done in error. Let’s look at the passage, all right?
Born in Kenya? Say It Ain’t So!
There is new information out there that signals the fact that Mr. Obama may in deed have been born in Kenya after all. What is interesting is that the information comes from a literary agent that Mr. Obama used starting in 1991. Apparently, Mr. Obama was still using this same informational brochure up until 2007, just prior to deciding to run for president of the United States.
Where is the United States Headed this Year?
There are many people who are working very hard to make sure that Mr. Obama is a one-term president. Who can blame them because what he has been doing as president seems to be things that have not benefited this country or its citizens as all.
While it is important to realize our responsibilities as citizens of the United States, it is far more important to understand that certain things have been biblically foreordained to occur, whether we want them to or not. Will Mr. Obama be re-elected? I can’t say for sure, but it certainly appears that this will be the case.

This is an interesting article and if true, tells us how low Mr. Obama is willing to go to get what he wants. He apparently sees himself as a dictator and does not like the fact that the Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches of our government are equal. They essentially create the checks and balances that our Founding Fathers knew needed to exist in the type of government they envisioned.
