Christian Woman in Pakistan Slated for Execution for Allegedly Insulting Muhammad

If you have taken the time to read any literature (modern day) from radical Islamic clerics, or listened to their video outbursts (also called “sermons”), you will note that they preach hatred. They preach the eradication of all who oppose Islam. They preach destruction of the United States and certainly death to Jews and Christians.

People BEHIND the President Who Make the Decisions

While these shadowy power brokers think they are pulling the strings, getting this candidate elected, or that one, ultimately God simply allows (and uses) their plan to succeed and only if it serves His purposes in the final analysis. In case, you have not noticed it, this world is being controlled by corrupt individuals. These individuals seek their own self-aggrandizement. God seeks His own glory. While they do not realize or consider it, the power brokers will give all glory to the only One who deserves it. Though it appears as though it is beginning to look very dark, the glory that will be revealed to us when Jesus appears will make the sun look like a minuscule distant star! All glory to Him!

Where is CAIR in Oregon? Where is Imam Rauf?

The next time a Muslim tells you that Islam is a religion of peace, ask him/her to prove it to you. Ask them to show you what Islam has done to engender peace. You will likely be met with silence.

Rachel Maddow’s Liberal Pro-Abortion Rants

Recently, Rachel Maddow’s show highlighted the apparent problems with pro-life people, who protest the pro-abortion crowd.  For those who don’t know, Maddow is MSNBC’s answer to Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show.  In fact, Maddow bears a striking resemblance to Stewart.  I’m sure Stewart would take that as a compliment considering his own liberal leanings.

The thing that troubles me about MSNBC is not only their liberal stance, but the way in which they routinely use their liberal position to really stretch any facts way beyond reality.  For instance, in a recent show, Maddow took on the pro-life crowd.  While I did not watch the entire episode, it was clear that Maddow wanted to make a connection between home-grown terrorism and pro-lifers, at least one of which has shot and killed a pro-abortion doctor.  The comment made by one of Maddow’s guests was something along the lines that even though not all pro-lifers carry guns, they work up the ones who DO carry guns.  The implication of course, is that pro-lifers are guilty of any deaths that result from a few whackos within the pro-life ranks, who take their protest all the way to the end of someone’s life.  The guest’s comments were complete with the obligatory tears (sniff, sniff).

It’s interesting to me that as far as I could see, not one tear was shed for one baby that was murdered through the process of what is commonly (and clinically) called abortion.  The term abortion hides the reality of what actually transpires when a child is murdered while still in the womb.  Frankly, I wish that abortion had been legalized and the mother’s of so many liberals like Maddow had opted to utilize their “right” to murder their unborn child.  What I think is so fascinating is that people like Maddow and others obviously do not consider the fact that had their mothers chosen abortion as a means to terminate their pregnancies, instead of giving birth, Maddow and others would not be here to argue the plausibility (and apparent sanity) of choosing to kill babies before they are born.  Apparently, this logic escapes them.  Then again, quite a bit of logic is lost on these people.  They prefer feelings and senses, as opposed to logic and intelligence.

The people who determine the particular slant of the media (George Soros among them), have determined a number of things that need to be constantly and consistently impressed upon the people of the United States and the world:

  1. terrorists are a problem, but pro-lifers are more of a problem
  2. the world’s population needs to be reduced to 500 million
  3. Christianity needs to be eradicated
  4. Islam needs to be ignored or applauded
  5. the United States government needs to learn to rule with a rod of iron
  6. people’s rights need to be consistently and substantially eroded until they are fully controlled by the government
  7. transgenders, homosexuals, and other disenfranchised groups must be put in positions of leadership
  8. transgenders and homosexual relationships are to be encouraged because they cannot HAVE children, they can only ADOPT children (or pay to have a surrogate)
  9. anyone objecting to the new norm must be silenced some way, somehow
  10. classify anyone who disagrees with President Obama’s policies as racist to shut them up
  11. boundaries between states and even countries need to go!
  12. onward and upward toward a one-world government with a one-world religion that supports the government

These are merely some of the things the elite of this world wish to accomplish and they will do so on the backs of the “laborers” (which is everyone who is NOT part of the elite).  For those who are unaware, George Soros “is a Hungarian-American financier, businessman and notable philanthropist focused on supporting liberal ideals and causes.[3] He became known as “the Man Who Broke the Bank of England” after he made a reported $1 billion during the 1992 Black Wednesday UK currency crises.[4][5] Soros correctly anticipated that the British government would have to devalue the pound sterling.

“Soros is Chairman of the Soros Fund Management and the Open Society Institute and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Council on Foreign Relations. He played a significant role in the peaceful transition from communism to capitalism in Hungary (1984–89)[5] and provided Europe’s largest-ever higher education endowment to Central European University in Budapest.[7] Later, the Open Society Institute’s programs in Georgia were considered by Russian and Western observers to have been crucial in the success of the Rose Revolution. In the United States, he is known for donating large sums of money in an effort to defeat President George W. Bush‘s bid for re-election in 2004. In 2010, he donated $1 million in support of Proposition 19, which would have legalized marijuana in the state of California. He was an initial donor to the Center for American Progress, and he continues to support the organization through the Open Society Foundations. The Open Society Institute has active programs in more than 60 countries around the world with total expenditures currently averaging approximately $600 million a year.” [1]

The crux of the problem is that the elite – those who have tons and tons of money – believe that THEIR views are the most important views.  They believe THEY know what is best for this world and because they have the resources – financial and otherwise – to bring their dreams about, they move ahead toward that goal.  It does not matter to them that the common person stands in the way.  They will either run us over, or wait us out.

In the case of the media, there are extremely few conservative strongholds left.  The only reason – in my opinion – that shows like Glenn Beck and others of a conservative nature are still around is to give the illusion that the media plays fairly and they do so by giving the conservative position airtime.  The reality of course is that the liberal elite are not stupid.  Should they eradicate all conservative positions, that would simply wind up hurting them and their cause.  Allowing Glenn Beck and others to present their viewpoints winds up bringing the ire out of the liberals who wind up resorting to ad hominem attacks, because they can do or say nothing else.

Every time I happen upon a forum or a news article that has anything to do with Sarah Palin for instance, the liberals come out of the woodwork with some of the most virulent verbiage you can imagine.  They make blanket statements, supporting it with nothing except a myriad of explanation points.  They call Palin every name in the book, constantly indicating how stupid she is apparently.

Liberal cesspools like Saturday Night Live get on the bandwagon and take it even a step further with their spoofs of Palin and other conservatives.  When SNL takes on Bill Clinton, pointing out how he lied about not having sex with that woman, while it pokes fun at him, it is done in a non-offensively cute way, as opposed to simply tearing the man apart.  No such courtesy is extended to Palin or other conservatives.

The truth is that the media have become a septic tank filled with liberal dogma.  While they will keep a few token conservatives on the air for looks, in general conservatives need not apply.

Isn’t it interesting that in this day and age, if you are liberal, you are allowed to be loud, oppressive, obnoxious, and fill the airways with one lie after another.  That is perfectly fine, but should you be a conservative, it is against the unwritten code of ethics to be any of the above.  There are plenty of Al Sharptons, Jesse Jacksons, Rachel Maddows, Jon Stewarts, and many others.  What they do is fine.  However, when Glenn Beck decides to have a gathering at the nation’s capitol, these same liberals start crying the blues.  Apparently, no one after Martin Luther King, Jr. was ever supposed to have a rally at the Washington Monument.

Rachel Maddow is pro-death, pro-abortion.  She does not like the fact that there are people like me who oppose abortion.  In fact, what is fascinating is that while all the attention is turned on people like myself who oppose abortion, Islam, which is FAR more strict and legalistic than Christianity, gets a free pass.

While folks are focusing on the truly peaceful Christian (with the exception of a whacko here and there), militant Islamists walk by virtually unnoticed.  So tell me, when Islam gets more of a leg up on society, forcing people like Maddow to have to kow tow to their rules and principles, what will she and others like her say then?  Islamists still stone people to death.  Islamists have reduced women’s rights to virtually nothing.  Islamists execute homosexuals.

Why is Maddow taking the time to attack Christians when the real threat is Islam?  It is simply because Christians generally do not fight back, but Islamists do.

The world will get what it deserves.  I firmly believe God will allow the demonic religion of Islam to rise to the surface in order for HIM to use it as an arm of judgment against a world that has yearned to reject Him for ages.  For too long, this world has ignored God, rejected Him, and desired nothing less than to release themselves from what they consider to be the chains of God’s love, holiness, and justice.

The world will get what it plays for because God has already begun to turn this world over to itself.  He is setting the dogs loose and though the world will believe it has arrived at that virtual nirvana that they have long sought, they will soon find out that fire and brimstone of God’s judgment is not far behind.

So what does this mean for the Christian?  It means that the authentic Christian will continue as we have done.  We will live our Christianity, not under a bushel, but out in the open.  We will continue to be a witness for the only God who actually exists and has actually provided the only available salvation for the people of this world.  We will continue to trust this same God in order to bring Him great glory.

What the authentic Christian understands is that with the changes that are taken place throughout the world, there will simply be more pressure placed on the Christian.  The days of smooth sailing may be permanently over, but that does not change our testimony.  It simply makes living our Christianity more obvious to those around us.  The greater the darkness, the more obvious the light that shines.

So Christian, we need to stay the course.  We need to continue to live a life that pleases God and brings Him glory.  Circumstances will change, but our testimony should remain stalwart.

Jihad Thwarted in Oregon

Whether it is Imam Rauf, this 19 year-old from Oregon, or the individual who wrote me (and quoted above) to say that I am wrong, filled with hate, and will eventually succumb to Islam, the message is very, very clear. Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a religion of VICTORY, that is won through a path of militant aggression, not peaceful activism.

President Obama’s Gun Control Plan

In California, beginning in February 2011, it will be against the law to purchase ammo except in face-to-face transactions and each purchaser must leave their thumbprint. Cool, huh? I can already see criminals shaking in their boots. Unless it’s overturned, it will go into law.

Clamping Down on Americans; Ignoring the Real Threats

It is a sad day for sure when Americans are made to look and feel as though they are “domestic extremists” simply because they object to their civil and Constitutional rights being purposefully violated. Add to that the idea that the message from the White House is that we are morons and should be told as little as possible and we have in the making a situation that may very well be something that this government of ours will not enjoy seeing: people up in arms over the idea that though we live in a democracy, we can all be illegally be treated as criminals.

There Will Be Terrible Times in the Last Days…

Sometimes, we need to take a step back before we understand the full force of a situation.  It is too easy to become so used to our situations, that we do not see the changes that have occurred over the months or years.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-4 tells us:

“1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”

That is some list, isn’t it?  Paul seems to hold nothing back.  For people who were born after 1965 or 1970, it might be very difficult for them to understand just how much has changed in the past five to six decades.

Of course, most are aware how much music and styles have changed, but that’s not what I’m talking about here.  I’m talking about two things that are part of people’s personality:

  1. demeanor
  2. attitude

When I was but a lad, living in Fresno, CA, I recall going to the Fresno Fair one year with my family.  It was my dad, mom, sister, and me.  We enjoyed the afternoon and headed out.  As we left, there were also other people exiting the fair as well.

Right behind us there were a couple of high school guys.  Aside from the fact that their hair was a bit longish, they were normal teenagers.  They were animated and enjoyed the fair.  However, they were using off-color language too, which my father did not appreciate.  Because they were essentially walking only a few feet behind us, it was fairly easy to hear their comments and they were lost in conversation.

I recall my dad turning around to them and gently but firmly chiding them about their language and the fact that there were kids within earshot.  I remember looking at the two teenagers and both were very embarrassed, but did not retaliate in any way toward my father, either in word or action.  They quickly clammed up and hurriedly walked off toward their car.

Now don’t get me wrong.  There were people who were considered to be rough necks, or stoners, but these people were in the minority.  As time has gone by, what was in the minority has now become the majority.

There is not much at all on TV anymore.  Thank goodness for DVDs and the release of all the golden oldies for people like me.  Aside from this and the documentary channels, there is really nothing worthwhile.  This extends to the commercials that play on nearly all channels.  The spate of reality-type shows that have come to the fore are absolutely, without doubt, some of the most heinous things on TV.

There is Party at the Rehab, New Jersey Shore, and a plethora of shows that  provide purient viewing from the comfort of your own home.  Women are not only in extremely skimpy bikinis, but they have trash mouths and everyone is arguing with someone else.  All this, just from the commercials!

The “F” word has become more common than the cold.  It’s a word that most people who use it, can use it as nearly any part of a sentence without any effort at all.  When I was young, we had slang like “far out,” “right on,” and a few other phrases that our parents just kind of rolled their eyes at a bit.  Today, most street slang is filled with vitriol, expletives, and even racial epithets.

All of this has created an attitude and demeanor in people that has made society fierce, selfish, liars, rebellious, disobedient to parents, unholy and all the rest listed for us in 2 Timothy 3.  Think of the tragedies that have occurred at some our schools across the U.S.  These situations have been perpetrated by individuals who were completely disenfranchised from society, likely by their own doing.  They thought so much of themselves and came to hate people and society so much that they felt the only solution was to kill other people and then themselves.

If you stop to consider it, everything has changed over the decades.  When I was young, people were generally polite to one another.  It was rare to hear anyone swear in public.  It was very uncommon to hear languages other than English spoken in public because this was considered to be rude.  People who did not speak English did not want to be seen as rude by having other people who did not understand them think they were making comments about them.

Since I was a kid, too many things have changed to list.  If I compare Paul’s list in 2 Timothy 3 with the things that have changed over the years, I see that a good deal of it is here now.  Now, in 2010 going into 2011, Paul’s description of people is what we have with us today.

People are rude.  They are haters.  They are extremely selfish.  What used to be the minority in society, has not only become the majority, but the norm.  The love of most has grown cold.  People are not interested in others because they are spending too much time involved with their own wants and needs.

People are brutal in many ways.  The desire to do what is right is something that is missing from a very large portion of our society and it is not getting better.  Society is not improving.  Society is getting worse as Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said it would.

We are living it now.  The fact is that people are becoming heartless.  Yet, there the gap between those who want nothing to do with God and those who are earnestly seeking Him (whether they know it or not), is widening.  That’s where you and I come in.  As Christians, we need to be constantly alert to the fact that lost individuals are roaming around the earth seeking God.  Who is going to tell them if we do not?

We better get to it while it is still day…

Why Are Christians Changing Positions?

I believe that we will continue to see more leaders within Christendom fall by the wayside because they are not authentic Christians from the start. While it is possible that they are authentic, the decisions they make are made apart from the truth of the Bible. Because of this, they have dethroned God, replacing Him with self. Self is deceptive at the very least and no truth is found there.
