Seed the Untold Story: Monsanto’s Destruction of Plants and Eco-System

The more you know, the less you’ll be taken by surprise. There are terribly evil people throughout the world who see only their needs and wants as something to be sought after. They couldn’t care less about you or me. They seek only profits and if that means destroying vegetables and fruits that God gave us, so be it. Do you think these people – the wealthiest in the world – eat foods that have been genetically altered or sprayed with pesticides? Of course not. They have the best of everything with truly organically grown foods, meat that is devoid of hormones and antibiotics, and beverages that are the best money can buy. They have their cake and they eat it too while the rest of us scramble for the scraps that these ultra-rich folks would never even consider putting in their mouths. Truly, they have their rewards now.

Leviticus: The Law and Sacrificial System

It cannot be stressed enough that just as the Israelites were expected to eschew evil and live lives that extolled the virtues of holiness before a holy God, Christians are to do the same thing. We are to flee from all sinful desires and endeavor to live holy lives (in His strength), from the time we receive salvation to the very moment He takes us home to be with Him in eternity. Of course, it is impossible for the Christian to live a perfectly sinless life because of the inherent sin nature within us. Sinless perfection is something that will only become reality for the Christian when the sin nature is excised from us and that will not occur until we pass through the door of death.

Racism Used to Divide, Conquer, and Create New Truth

The first time Christ came, He did not come to change society. He did not come to eradicate lies. He came to create a way for humanity to gain salvation. Certainly, if all people were authentically saved today, society would be a different place, but the sin nature would still exist. It will only be when there is a society of people who do not have the sin nature and have Jesus as Lord and Savior that the change will be complete. Until then, we live not only among sinful people, easily swayed by the deceits of the enemy, but we ourselves continue to be taken in by our own resident sin nature. Though we have salvation in Christ and the Holy Spirit lives within us, our inherent sin nature keeps us at odds with ourselves and with God at times.

Exodus: Book of Deliverance

Exodus teaches us that against all odds, God’s purposes are accomplished, whether anyone likes it or not. It may take time to unroll but it will be seen and God will be victorious. Exodus also teaches us that we can participate in God’s victories through faith; our ability to take God at His Word and simply follow Him. Yet, no one can do this perfectly. The best we can do is submit ourselves to Him on a daily basis and when we do fall, get up quickly, admit/confess our sin and once again, move on with Him.

Political Correctness’ Tragic Effects on Society

I’m not a prophet, but it’s not difficult to see that things are coming to a head in society. It’s not pretty at all. It’s rather ugly and it will get worse as time progresses. We are moving rapidly toward the time when things will be perfect for Antichrist to take up his position as world leader. I know that’s difficult to believe that in 2016, there would even be thoughts of having a one-world government with one individual reigning over the entire world. It’s very difficult to believe but the world is being moved in that direction. It’s been the purpose of the United Nations since its inception and the failed League of Nations before that. Scripture tells us that at some point, the world will become as one.

Synthetic Bacteria Causing Death

By the way, I’m not saying that something like “Cynthia” is what the Bible is talking about. It may well be that God simply pours out one plague after another supernaturally onto human society and the earth. I’m simply saying that at least some of the things created by science have unexpected effects that are similar to or even parallel the events described in Scripture. Because of that, it is not difficult to understand how these things referenced in the Bible could easily occur. Science may have been unwittingly providing the very things that God will use at the end of this age. It’s not far-fetched and those who have had a difficult time taking Scripture in its plain and obvious sense should see these things as quite possible.

Focusing Too Much on Evil Creates Unhealthy Outlook

If we look at the gospels alone, it seems clear enough that Jesus did not go out of His way to take on Satan. He didn’t avoid him and certainly knew Satan was there. Jesus understood evil existed in society and Satan was the primary cause of it, coupling with fallen individuals who would allow him to gain access into their lives in whatever form. Jesus also seemed to understand that He was not going to be able to eradicate evil from society at that time because of God’s main purpose for allowing it to exist in the first place. As I’ve stated repeatedly in past articles, God allows Satan and evil to continue to exist because of the coming head-to-head battle that will occur (and end in the blink of an eye), between God and Satan. It never has been a contest and will not be a contest at the coming point in the future when Jesus physically returns to this planet and destroys Antichrist, who will be at that time, the physical embodiment and representation of all that is evil in one person (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2).

Hearing But Not Obeying

What God is speaking about here in Ezekiel though are those people who have actually no intention of allowing the worship, the preaching or anything else actually change them. They go into a worship service with that attitude. For them, it’s simply another social event and they are not interested in being changed by the truth they hear, whether in song or spoken word. These people go to church and simply put on the face they believe they should have on. They are friendly to a fault, seemingly overjoyed to be in “church,” and spend a good amount of time chatting with people, laughing with them as though they haven’t seen them in months, and they pay careful (outward) attention to sermon. They have no intention of being changed by it because they listen only with their ears, not with their will and heart. They desire no change therefore they see no change.

Genesis: Book of Beginnings

Genesis is the book of “beginnings,” which is the translation of the Hebrew Bereshith. The Septuagint version uses “Genesis,” which means generation of origination. It is the first book of the Penteteuch, or “five scrolls.” Genesis represents the first written words of God to humanity. In it, we begin to see God’s power and His plan once it becomes clear that humanity chose (as did Lucifer/Satan), to rebel against God’s plan. As we move through God’s Word, the reasons why God gave some of His creatures free will becomes clear even though it meant that they would ultimately rebel, causing God to put into place a system of redemption whereby people could embrace salvation and reject hell. This choice exists today and yet, few take it.

Bible Summary: Overview of the Old Testament

Together, the 37 individual books make up the entire Old Testament of the English Bible. In order to appreciate the chronological history of the Hebrew nation (prior to even becoming the Hebrew nation), until the Inter-testamental period, it is important to gain a solid understanding of each of these eleven chronological books; their themes, the period they cover and how they connect. Once these are understood, then the blanks can be filled in so to speak with the complementary, wisdom and prophetic books.
