Glutamates: The Final Piece of the Health Puzzle?

The simple truth appears to be that too many foods already contain glutamate. As an excitotoxin, this can play havoc with our brains, pushing us way over the edge of feeling tired while wired, making it difficult to calm down and deal with stress. This can all tie in with our adrenals as well, because the adrenals are the ones that help fight off the effects of stress. However, when they become overused, they can come to a point of not working that well or not at all. When this happens, they are unable to fight off the effects of too much glutamate in our systems.

Joseph’s Life and Lessons, Part 8

Folks, I don’t know about you, but the Christian’s character is determined not by how he/she dresses when attending church or even how he/she carries themselves while at church or other religious gatherings and activities, though that is often a reflection of how we view these things. The Christian’s mettle is seen in how we react to situations (both inside and outside), that come into our lives that are not at all palatable or pleasant and if we had our druthers, we would push them away without question. This really is where the rubber meets the road for the Christian because it is the practical experience of our lives daily. It is where our theology and beliefs are tried and either found wanting or confirmed.

Everyone Doing What is Good in Their Own Eyes

It is going to get really difficult for Christians as things progress toward the end. It’s just the way it is as revealed in Scripture. Christians are going to once again be the scapegoat for everything the world doesn’t like and they will not hesitate to take it out on us. What’s our recourse? Get and stay close to God! Read His Word daily. Commune with Him often. Seek to live as He would like us to live. The road ahead looks very bleak, at least for a while, until the Lord Himself returns. I believe we can have peace in the midst of the trials headed our way, but that peace will not happen accidentally. It will happen as we do what we need to do to draw and remain close to God our Father.

Joseph’s Life and Lessons, Part 7

Let’s remember, that this is all part of God’s plan because it was in Egypt that God determined to produce a nation that would ultimately be completely sold out to Him alone. This is yet future. It has not happened yet as a continual streak. It has occurred here and there throughout history but not as an unbroken way of living before God Almighty. This will happen to the nation of Israel one day, when their hearts will be so sold out to God that they will never leave or forsake Him as a nation again. This will occur in the coming Millennial Kingdom following the Tribulation/Great Tribulation.

Problems with Today’s Vaccinations?

It is interesting that the Pharmaceutical companies are exempt from being sued over issues related to vaccines because they say it cannot be proven beyond doubt that vaccines are the cause of any illness in children at all. The fact that any company cannot be sued because of the possibility of one or more of their products creating issues for consumers should cause a red flag. In fact, if these pharmaceutical companies could be sued, who knows what might be uncovered? Yet, they have powerful lobbyists who have proven effective for them in the halls of Congress. Essentially, consumer health means little to nothing to Big Pharma. It’s all about the dollars.

Changes to Our Page on Sermon Audio

I’m not sure why Apple has made this move but since Tim Cook is a serious Leftist, it likely has to do with control and money. If I have an app developed for my page on Sermon Audio, I’d have to have my own developer account, create the app and then submit it. I don’t have the time or know-how, nor do I want to spend more money on creating two new apps.

Joseph’s Life and Lessons, Part 6

Joseph was actually being far more gracious than his brothers had been toward him. He was giving them a way to prove their integrity and character whereas with Joseph, the brothers gave him no chance in spite of the fear Joseph may have exhibited to them. They showed him no mercy but Joseph is being very merciful here.

And Yet MORE on 5G…

With every advance there are setbacks. 5G leaders hype only advances. They ignore all the setbacks because it doesn’t support their narrative. It’s like listening to a Leftist talk highly of Socialism. They attack anyone who offers a dissenting voice. Ridicule is their best weapon. If they’re not doing that, they are completely ignoring any concerns. Leftists do this all the time and while it is maddening, I have to give them credit for being so stalwart. Would that conservatives en mass could do the same but we’re often too polite.

Final Thoughts on 5G…for Now

Ultimately, what this all means is that we are slowly, inevitably giving up our privacy. Yes, 5G will make things move more quickly and provide a certain type of consistency for our phones, computers and television that we’re not getting now. But at what cost to our privacy?
