Trusting the Lord in Dark Times

Recall the apostle Paul stated that “we are not unaware of Satan’s schemes so that he should outwit us,” (2 Cor 2:11). That is truth, like the rest of Scripture! Truth that changes our focus. Paul was saying that he had come to understand the many ways that Satan attempted to outwit or overcome Paul and those he traveled with and because of Paul’s understanding he was able to look beyond the schemes to see God in the process.

News and Notes Update: October 28, 2020

Two Christian workers at Kroger who were fired because they refused to wear aprons that highlighted the LGBTQ rainbow logo. They believed wearing the apron with that logo was tantamount to approving the LGBTQ lifestyle and violated their religious beliefs.

Christians Pushed to the Edges

Here’s the problem as I see it, based on the papers I’ve read by medical practitioners and experts. Most people at any point in time have “viral material” in their bodies. This does not mean they are sick or going to be sick or need to quarantine for 14 days. It simply means that we have viral material, just like we all have our share of bacterium in our bodies. By locking down, social distancing, masking up and constantly worrying about washing our hands, we may be doing irreparable damage to our immune systems, which will not be able to benefit from herd immunity.

Focusing on the Future

For those interested, I’ve been placing up videos of the Sunday morning class I’m teaching at our local church that addresses the End Times, or Last Days. The title of the series is “Focusing on the Future” and for those interested, they can head over to our Sermon Audio page and begin with Part 2. Unfortunately, we did not have things in place to record the first part, but we provide a bit of a review at the beginning of the second class to bring people up to speed.

News and Notes Update: October 20, 2020

I see this continuing to move forward toward the final one-world government. I don’t see any break in it, but that does not mean I am correct as I’ve said, God can throw a monkey wrench into the equation if He chooses to do so. He can do that, though He may not because the timing may be right on schedule. I really do not know.

False Teachers and Prophets, Part 7

Isn’t it amazing how error, once it makes its way into Christendom, even though it is thoroughly rebuked and debunked by Christian leaders and even church councils in history, continues to gain new followers? It doesn’t seem to matter what the error is either. There are always new people from a new generation willing to embrace those errors in spite of how often those errors are clearly denounced and do not line up with the truth of Scripture.

News and Notes Update: October 16, 2020

With the many things that have transpired over the past four years, it has become infinitely clear that we are on the road that leads to global unity, which Satan will use to attempt to thwart God. If it’s not on the way to happening now, it surely will happen at some point in the future. All things appear to be pointing to that.

Psalm 37: Rest in the Lord

I cannot imagine a world without sin, can you? I cannot imagine my life without sin. I cannot imagine never having an evil thought or being tempted to have one. It is impossible for me now to understand what it will mean when not only my sin nature is gone, but everyone else’s sin nature is gone. It is difficult to comprehend what life will actually be like.

News and Notes Update: October 12, 2020

Now more than ever, authentic Christians need to step up to the plate and understand that we have a job to do. That job is outlined in Matthew 28’s the Great Commission. In this day and during this time, people are really hurting. They are extremely fearful. Many are taking their own lives. These times and days should imprint on our minds the absolutely need to be faithful in telling people about the hope that we have in Jesus! There can be no exceptions.

Technocracy: Controlling the God Gene?

Clearly, accepting the Mark is an eternally damnable offense to God. Is it possible that this Mark might include some type of tattoo and/or vaccination that could alter that person’s human DNA into something else entirely? Could it possibly shut off what eventually might be discovered as the “God gene” and once turned off, there is no chance of it being turned on again? Or is it simply that receiving the Mark is the point of no return as far as God is concerned because it represents a complete break with God by worshipping Satan? It may not have anymore meaning than that, but it could have more.
