Senator John McCain is Buried

This post contains some political commentary.

Over the past week, Senator John McCain died and was finally laid to rest, and as an American hero. Like many of the events, McCain’s funeral was essentially a President Donald J. Trump roast. One person after another came to the podium to condemn Pres. Trump, one way or another.

Artist Aretha Franklin also passed from this life to the next and the same thing happened at her funeral. Instead of simply eulogizing Franklin for the talent that God gave her, many took potshots at Pres. Trump there as well.

Without going into detail, there have been nagging rumors that John McCain caused the death of hundreds of Naval crew and officers because of “wet starting” his jet, which started a fire and set off bombs that were on the aircraft carrier. Other rumors also continue to circulate that after his capture in Vietnam, he wound up supplying his captors with information that ultimately caused the deaths of many American servicemen. Because his father was an Admiral in the Navy, some believe that John McCain was given preferential treatment to protect him from a possible court-martial. Shortly after the incident that occurred on the aircraft carrier where seamen died, McCain was transferred to another carrier.

The debates still rage about these situations with people landing on both sides of the argument; some agreeing and some disagreeing. We’ll probably never know the truth. Of course, now that Sen. John McCain is in the afterlife, the truth – whatever it is – has been clearly made known.

However, only within the past few years has information come out that tends to support the notion that John McCain worked against American interests and once Pres. Trump was elected, worked against him as well. Some even content that McCain began working against Donald J. Trump’s bid for the White House even before the November 2016 election, colluding with others from the Left to derail Trump’s bid for the White House and once Trump won the election, McCain allegedly continued working toward Trump’s impeachment. Some sources cite McCain as the “bag man” for what has become known as the fake dossier provided by ex-MI6 spy Steele. Payments for this dossier have allegedly been traced from a law firm back to the DNC and the Clinton Foundation and including the FBI.

There are reports and pictures of McCain’s alleged involvement with this infamous Steele Dossier, used to obtain the FISA warrants. It turns out that either the FISA judges were duped by not being provided all the information necessary to make a critical ruling, or they were part of the deception.

There are also pictures of McCain meeting with those who appear to be Islamic Jihadists; terrorists connected with the Muslim Brotherhood. What was the purpose of these meetings? There is some inkling, some information, but all the dots have not yet been connected. What does exists certainly does not show John McCain in a good light.

We know of course – and this is beyond debate – that when McCain ran for re-election this last time, he promised to help overturn Obamacare. He was certainly elected in part based on that promise as voters took him at his word. However, when it came time to vote, instead of following through on his promise, John McCain voted for Obamacare to remain and this was after Donald Trump had become president. One of Trump’s promises was to overturn and get rid of Obamacare. He’s been unable to completely follow through on that promise because McCain was the deciding vote to keep Obamacare, though the individual mandate is gone.

What can be said or believed about John McCain? In death, like all of us, he faces God Almighty. He stands before God either with the knowledge that Christ is his advocate or He is not. These are the only two options for all people. Was John McCain a Christian? Impossible to know. I won’t even offer conjecture. However, people judge us by our words as well as our actions.

We are often told actions speak louder than words. This particular adage is taught in Scripture as well. We learn from James that faith without works is dead (James 2:14-22). That makes sense. Anyone can say anything but it is their actions, their life that backs up what they say or not, and either confirms or denies their integrity. This is true of all of us.

Because we are all sinners, it is impossible for us to be 100% consistent. We cannot get to a point in this life where we never sin again. It’s simply impossible because of our sin nature, but that does not mean we should no longer try by ignoring God and His will.

There is a huge difference in sinning every once in a while and deliberately sinning as a pattern of living. We all sin, but we do not have to live a life of deliberate hypocrisy and for those who are Christians, this should never be the case.

Many this past week – the mainstream media (MSM), family, friends, and acquaintances of John McCain – took time out to sing his praises. They say he was a man of integrity, a man who fought for the little person, and a man who served in the armed forces and was a hero because of what he suffered.

What is interesting to me is not these people who couldn’t speak highly enough of John McCain. What is most interesting to me is what some within the world of Islam are saying about John McCain.

One such person – Imam Tawhidi – who has a verified account (blue check mark) on Twitter recently stated the following about John McCain: “John McCain was on his way to becoming an American hero, but instead became a Senator for ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood. No American senator fought for Islamist rights and the arming of Jihadists like Senator McCain.” It is interesting that even the mysterious Qanon commented on Tawhidi’s tweet.

Who is Imam Tawhidi? Not sure, but if he has a blue check by his name, his identity has been verified by Twitter security. His profile says “Imam of Peace  , Reformist, Ordained Scholar, Former Delegate of the Grand Islamic Jurisdiction – Now Anti-All Islamists…”

Seems he may have been far more right-wing Islamic but has since walked away from that aspect of Islam. By looking at his “about” page on his website, it becomes clear that he is sill a Muslim, but has positioned himself against all forms of radical Islam. He is well-educated and other Islamic leaders still look to him for advice and he appears to stand opposed to all forms of jihad against non-Muslims in the world.

It is this man who stated what he said about John McCain. Because of his involvement in the world as a Muslim and his connections to other Muslims throughout the world, Tawhidi appears to understand or is at least willing to allege that John McCain essentially stood against America’s interests in his support of Muslim extremists throughout the world, especially the Muslim Brotherhood.

The picture included within the post from Tawhidi is a cropped photo of one of the times McCain met with men, some of whom are believed to be known terrorists. What were they meeting about and when? This was all in an effort to bring down Syria’s Assad (while Obama was president), and strengthen the positions of ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East and North Africa.

It would seem that Republican John McCain was a tremendous asset to the Obama administration. One would think a true conservative would work within the system against Obama’s seeming Marxist policies that catered to globalists. Instead, McCain seemed to be wherever ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood needed assistance. His actions spoke loudly.

Frankly, for me, Tawhidi’s “eulogy” of McCain is probably one of the more accurate ones, but who knows for certain? And let’s not forget Robert Spencer’s tweet that Tawhidi was retweeting and responding to where Spencer essentially states that McCain was the “godfather, leader and real supreme guide” of the Muslim Brotherhood. This says a great deal, if true, about John McCain’s loyalties.

It is fairly clear (except to the virulent Left), that the so-called “Arab Spring” was an artificial construct used throughout North Africa and the Middle East to overthrow and topple existing governments in order to replace them with Muslim Brotherhood puppets, who would answer to globalists. Syria’s Assad has been actively resisting the entire time. He has not fallen and will likely end up victorious. But the attempts to overthrow and change the landscape throughout the Middle East have been propped up largely by the Obama administration and America’s money and military resources. John McCain appears to have been one of the main vehicles through which these things happened.

John McCain knows for certain now whether he sold his soul or was simply misunderstood and needed better PR people. For him there is no going back, no way to undo, or correct what may simply have been misunderstandings or actual treason.

We will all stand before God Almighty, the Creator of everything, one day. Will you stand in fear, cowering because you know you left this life without receiving the only salvation that is truly available, through Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on humanity’s behalf? Or will you, like the vision Zechariah the prophet saw of Joshua (Zechariah 3), stand before this same God in silence, knowing that you deserve death but have placed your faith in the only One who can offer you eternal life?

All of us have done things that we’re not proud of and some continue on that path. It leads to death; eternal separation from God and that actually begins in this life, but you don’t have to remain on that path to destruction. God can place you on the path that leads to eternal life.

Do you know how much longer you will live? Do you know for a fact that you have “plenty of time”? You don’t. It’s something you simply prefer to believe, but death is not that far away from any of us.

Will it matter what people think or say about you that will affect your eternity? No, what matters is what God says about you. Have you received Jesus as Savior and Lord? If not, then unfortunately, upon your death, you will stand before God with no Advocate. You will hear the Accuser speak and you will have no rebuttal, leading to your judgment.

Jesus died that we might live. He gave His life so that by it and through faith in His life, death, and resurrection, we might become new creatures in Him through eternal life.

Will you please give that some thought? Will you at least consider the ramifications of it?

I wept as I read this article because it hit home. Our main concern is to focus on Jesus and the cross in these end times and live by faith. Yes, we will all come before God, our Creator, one day and will we be ready. We need to follow what Luke 9:23 says: “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me”.

That is the one reality every person will face when they enter eternity, isn’t it?

What is see now is not a democrat verses republican situation existing but rather constitutional verses globalism. While I did not care for Pres. Trump’s actions while he was campaigning I voted against what was could have been when I voted for him. I believe God has put this man in office as a firewall to show us how very depraved as a nation we have become and through Qanan we are learning this has been going on for many many years.
A real test is the “prosperity ” we are experiencing that as far as I can tell is without God which we know will not stand. America is at a cross road and I pray the Church wakes up before it is too late.

McCain downed American patriotism and American sovereignty. He definitely was the setup man for the very fake Russian Dossier. He will go down in history as one of the biggest Benedict Arnold’s America ever had. It is very telling that Republican Graham said he would name D.C. after him. This shows just how far Republicans have strayed away from conservative values in this country. McCain’s god was his own vanity. He will be judged as a lost soul to America and more than likely God Almighty.

It used to be that actual Republicans were generally conservative, truly supporting Constitution and all that it entails. As we know there are too many in politics and the media who pretend to be GOP but are clearly seen as aligned with Leftist ideals.

It was very rare to see someone who was GOP actually vote like a Democrat.

What was most telling for me with respect to John McCain that I noticed over the past few decades was how many on the Left embraced him.

Years ago he was far more aligned with GOP but then the slide toward Left began until the change was complete.

To many people, McCain will indeed be remembered as s Benedict Arnold. Terrible legacy.

As Christians we are commanded to focus on the things of heaven, not things of this evil satan dominated world. Nor are we to judge perceived evil in others, but we may act as fruit inspectors as Paul did. In that spirit, I concur with your low opinion of the late Senator McCain, at best merely a fake Republican and at worst a hypocrite or even traitor……only God knows. And Jesus now has judged him with eternal damnation in a literal fiery hell….unless he confessed his sins and sought Jesus as Lord and Savior before his death like the thief on the cross…again only God knows. I thank God that He mercifully removed McCain to prevent him from inflicting further evil on this Nation.

Hopefully, prior to leaving this life, John McCain received salvation from the only One who provides it. I agree as well that with McCain gone, he can do no further damage to our Constitutional Republic. It’s a shame to have even that perceived legacy.

Fantastic post on all points. I love how you weave the precious Gospel message in. Isn’t that what it is really all about?!

Thank you, Lynn. I was debating whether or not to publish this because of a potential perceived ill will toward John McCain. That wasn’t the intent and if he died without knowing Jesus, my heart aches as it does for all who enter eternity without ever coming to know the One who provides eternal life.
