Perilous Times are Here: Fierce People

Continuing with our series on 2 Timothy 3:1-5, we’re going to move into verse 3 in this article.
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (KJV)
Are we seeing this in society today? Absolutely, one hundred percent.
Before we go any further, let’s note that this entire section of Scripture (even including up to verse 7), really speaks to the evidence of absolute faithlessness that permeates our society today. This is not simply in America, but is all over the world. Faithlessness (in God and His truth), is the hallmark of global society today.
I’m reminded of just how faithless people were in Israel time and time again. If we simply take a few chapters of Jeremiah chapters 35, 36, 37, we see faithlessness on display. There, the prophet Jeremiah was put in a dungeon by King Zedekiah. Why? The king only wanted to hear “good” things. It’s really that simple.
We know that severely corrupt people often gain control of government reins. Because of this, their corruption and internal evil leads them to begin to limit freedoms in any society. This limiting often leads to a form of “suffocation” that is generally placed over the entire society. This is self-preservation for the leaders because they know if they do not control society, they will be controlled and ousted (or worse).
California has a statewide mask mandate. When we were there a few weeks ago, we avoided wearing masks as much as possible. I was amazed to see people outside at Lake Huntington wearing masks! The fear, brainwashing and propaganda has done its work.
Recently, I read that several people who refused to wear masks in California while at Mother’s Market & Grocery store in Costa Mesa, CA, were locked in the store by the manager, who also called the police. The police came and arrested and fined the people inside the store. Why didn’t the manager just ask them to leave? Why did he feel the need to literally and illegally detain them? Moreover, why wasn’t the store manager cited for such action?
What the manager did was borne of a desire to please the “masters” or “overlords” of California so that it will be well with them. He wanted to be seen as a dutiful person and hopefully heralded as a hero.
My wife and I went to a big box hardware store yesterday with our dog and without masks, as is usual for us. The store “requests” that you wear a mask and since our state does not have a statewide mask mandate, it would be difficult for them to enforce it. At any rate, I noticed a few people in the store not wearing masks. As we were in an aisle looking for an extension cord, a man came into the aisle with his mask on. He noticed us without masks and removed his. People are slowly waking up to the reality that they have been conned but too many are still asleep, unwilling or unable to see the problems associated with wearing masks for long periods of time.
Not only does wearing a mask keep herd immunity from developing and doing its job, but wearing masks can create a plethora of problems as I’ve noted here before, quoting numerous medical professionals. People tend to follow whatever peer pressure has dictated. People who think critically through these problems tend to make their own decisions and are often ridiculed or vilified because of it.
Jeremiah, the prophet, was a human being who even doubted God’s Word at times. Yet, he was faithful in doing all that God asked him to do. It caused a great deal of angst between family members and friends. He was vilified, beaten and some wanted him to die because he dared to speak what they believed was against Jerusalem. They failed to acknowledge what their lives and evil had brought Jerusalem and Israel to the point of God needing to judge it. God could not relent and had to carry through with the warnings of judgment. Later, God promised to restore Jerusalem and Israel (ultimately, in the coming Millennial Kingdom ruled over by the physical Presence of Jesus Himself after His second coming).
In the meantime, we have this ever widening description by the apostle Paul in his second letter to Timothy about how bad things will become in the “last days,” the days in which we are living.
In verse 3, Paul starts out by stating that people of this particular time in history will have “unnatural affection.” The meaning is probably obvious to most. It simply means having abnormal relations. In its final and lowest form, this is referencing homosexuality as Paul discussed in Romans 1, one of the best chapters in the Bible on how society sinks downward and ultimately comes to accepting homosexuality as “normal.” This is not that God hates homosexuals because He does NOT. What He hates is the sin of homosexuality because it goes against His natural, created order. It seems obvious doesn’t it? If God had created two men or two women, there would have been no procreation. Clearly, Satan is the creator of this “altered” order.
Being a “trucebreaker” or “false accuser” derives from the same thing. Both indicate a willingness and even obsessiveness to lie and break agreements, usually all for personal gain. It was the same story in the Bible that God highlights so often. Israel was supposed to be the light on the hill, shining truth into the world. Instead, they often became part of the same problem hosted by the world and in many cases, became even worse than the world.
For instance, Jews were not supposed to loan money to other Jews at interest. They could do this to non-Jews, but not to other Jews. But it quickly became routine that Jews would loan money to other Jews at very high interest rates, termed “usury.” God had a problem with that and rightly so. He allowed it to continue not because He turned a blind eye to that evil, but because He wanted to give Israelites as much times as needed to turn to Him in repentance and do what was right. They never did so eventually, God had to deal with it and did. This is merely one example.
Another example is every seven years, Jews were supposed to release any Jewish servants they had (normally, because a Jew could not pay a debt, so they had to work it off). At the end of seven years, they were supposed to be cut loose, period. However, it became the practice to NOT release any servants but to simply keep them working. This was against the gracious system God had set up.
On one occasion in Jeremiah, God reminds the Israelites through Jeremiah that they came together, released their servants and made a great show of doing what God wanted them to do. Then, they immediately turned around and took those same servants they had just released and enslaved them again! You can read about it in Jeremiah 34, starting with verse 8. The Israelites were legalists in the sense that they did what God wanted but with every intention of going back to what they had before. They had become trucebreakers.
To be “incontinent” means unable to keep one’s self in check. This usually happens to people who are guided by their emotions. Those people do not think clearly because their emotions are too loud. In essence, those people are without control. Emotions control them and we see this a great deal in society today. People say and do the most outlandish things because instead of relying on critical thinking skills (if they have any), they simply allow themselves to be guided by whatever emotions come to the fore. It makes for a very volatile society. This was not the way it was years ago. You rarely heard swearing in public, for instance. You rarely saw people get angry beyond control.
Now, decades later, we have people who use the most foul language imagined and it is accepted as “normal.” In fact, the more bereft people are, the more they are praised.
“Fierce” perfectly describes what we are seeing in society today. BLM, AntiFa and other Marxist groups are leading the charge to intimidate and beat senseless those who stand in their way. Recently, at a Sturgis motorcycle gathering, AntiFa decided to try to infiltrate. It was a small group of AntiFa protesters and they were surrounded by police officers for their protection because they were severely outnumbered. At one point, an alleged AntiFa leader started to go berserk, railing against those at the Sturgis event. Because he started to get violent, the police took him down and arrested him. I’m under the impression the leader did that because he knew police would take him out of there and not allow anyone at Sturgis to get to him. That’s my opinion. But the reality is that there are many videos uploaded by citizen journalists who are confronting, beating and robbing innocent people in areas like Portland and Seattle.
The fierceness of their demeanor and attacks on innocent people speaks to the fact that they are literally the fulfillment of Paul’s words to Timothy. These fierce individuals are literally haters of good and those who attempt to do good.
I read one article showing a group of AntiFa/BLM rioters surrounding a man who had tried to rescue a (transgender) woman from being beaten. The AntiFa/BLM people turned on him, chased him to his truck and as he tried to get away, crashed his truck into a tree. The crowd got him out of his truck, forced him to sit in the street as they searched and robbed him. At this point and guy identified as Keese Love came up and kicked him viciously in the head putting him unconscious. The group then robbed his truck.
This kind of fierceness and hatred of good is symptomatic of satanic evil. That is the origin of it and as we see the trouble that is being promoted all over society today throughout the world, we know that Satan is behind it. Since people, by and large, are not interested in repenting and turning to God, all of this will lead to its likely conclusion: judgment by God. Without global repentance, there is no other option, I’m sorry to say.
Society today is being overcome by brutish behavior. Don’t kid yourselves into thinking that there is no plan connected to it. The goal is to overcome and destroy, in order to make way for the final empire of Daniel 2. What these brutes do not realize of course, is that they will be the first ones to suffer under the NWO so that there will be no chance of them rising up against that order.

Hi, not necessarily in agreement with your take on masks inside buildings etc. as I’m high risk. I agree that being masked outdoors seems like overkill. Anyway, don’t want to digress on masks. A wonderful article. Linked to it on my blog. Thank you.

Hi!
That’s fine. My wife cannot wear a mask due to her previous kidney disease which is in remission. Each person has to make their own decision about masks. What I object to is being FORCED to wear a mask. People should have the ability to make their own choice based on their own reasoning. If someone chooses to wear a mask for a short period of time here or there, that’s fine. My big concern based on what I’ve read is that re-breathing of our carbon dioxide when wearing a mask. People who have to wear these for hours during the day are putting themselves in harm’s way. I will need to wear a mask on several upcoming occasions when I go to doctor’s appointments. It’s for a short period of time and I simply encourage people to take many breaks from wearing them if they are in the position of having to or choosing to.
Thanks very much for writing and sharing your concern. It’s appreciated and for linking it on your blog. Thank you! God bless.

Not to belabor this but I present this link here by a surgeon about masks. See what you think and I may write a brief article on this as well. God bless.

Dear Modres, thank you for the mask link. Exactly as I had suspected and once again, so much confusion and disinformation! You have no doubt read how some people are developing a variety of infections and respiratory issues as a result of improper mask wearing. I truly grieve seeing children being subjected to them.. Hor horrible! My husband witnessed an ambulance on our local bike path treating a bike rider who was wearing a mask while riding. And, I saw a woman with her dog masked!! Utter madness. I wear them for very short periods of time only when required with the understanding it is nothing but compliance. I am tempted to get a mask that reads “wearing this mask puts me at risk to accommodate your fear and ignorance”. But i realize that is not a God honoring message.
Circling back to your reply on the state of the world, I appreciate your comments regarding president Trump and have to agree that it is highly unlikely he is a modern day Cyrus in fact I am embarrassed to have even made the comparison! I share your disappointment that regarding corruption nothing has really happened. There was this big yawn admission of guilt from some low level guy. Who cares. There will likely be no real indictments in the corruption of the “deep state” . They do not know or understand that God is an avenger and will in no way acquit the guilty.
The biggest challenge for me as a believer today is to remain separate from the world system and not to “love the world” meaning do not put faith in government or politics. I have to keep reminding myself this coming election Is not where our hope is. Satan is very clever and the entire political system is currently under his command (within the sovereign will of God of course). Therefore, what trump and the resistance to the radical left (such as Q) seem to offer is a more appealing arm of the world system and many believers are allowing themselves to be conformed into it.
Blessings.

Don’t be embarrassed, Jen. I’ve contemplated the same thing. I just simply do NOT see it as viable after doing some biblical research. You probably would’ve come to the same conclusion. The idea that President Trump is a modern day Cyrus started with people like Mark Taylor, whom I’ve written about. He is part of New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), which believes that there are roughly 500 “apostles” living today as well as “prophets.” These people are 100% wrong, in my opinion and they always go well beyond what Scripture says.
Cyrus of course, was actually named in Scripture 150 years before he was born (Isaiah 45). That’s God, allowing humanity to know His thoughts and intentions to prove who He is and He didn’t have to do that. Cyrus did all that God rose him up to do. I honestly have no clue about President Trump. Many believe he is now a Christian. I hope that is the case but it is impossible to judge the man’s heart and is not within my purview. I do know he is surrounded by people I believe are charlatans pretending to be Christian so I’m not sure he’s getting the best Scriptural advice from them. Many of these people support the Kingdom Now/Dominion theology that says if we Christians work hard to help convert the world to Jesus, there will come a time when enough people have been converted that Jesus will be “able” to come back. This is sacrilege of the highest order! Jesus will come back at the precise time the Father has set and it is has nothing to do with conversion rates.
Regarding masks, I believe people should have the freedom to choose, not be mandated to wear them. A woman had a mask on her dog???? That is insanity! I honestly believe because of the many hours that most people must wear masks at work, we are going to start seeing a great deal of health-related issues that did not exist.
For instance, because of my wife’s kidney issues that are in remission now, if she were to start wearing a mask, because of the carbon dioxide she would be re-breathing, acid would start to build up in her blood stream. While her kidneys would work hard to eradicate that acid, they would likely experience problems again and she would develop protoneuria and other things that she previously experienced. It would be foolhardy for her to wear a mask because of that.
Yet, I just read that an airline kicked an entire family off their plane because they could not get their two-year-old to wear a mask! This is in spite of the fact that CV-19 does not normally target children because they appear to have more antibodies naturally. The whole thing about masks is frustrating because most see how illogical it is in society.
I also do not expect any high-level indictments against those within the “deep state.” We finally have one indictment of a low-level FBI attorney by the name of Kevin Clinesmith. Will there be others? Q would like us to believe that, but I simply don’t. It’s been too long; nearly four years now and nothing. I know people are holding out hope, but the truth is that whether it happens in this life or in eternity, God will judge each and every person. Fortunately for Christians, our judgment occurs not at the Great White Throne (where people will be informed as to why they are going to the Lake of Fire), but at the BEMA Seat of Christ where we will be informed as to which, if any, rewards we will receive. Our salvation will never come into question if we are authentic believers.
Your last paragraph sums it up for all of us, actually. We all have to constantly guard ourselves against loving this world. It is finite, here for a while then replaced with God’s coming new creation. We cannot love the world but there are certainly a great many things we can appreciate here. That’s fine as long as they do not take our eyes off the Lord.

Hi Modres, I believe once you take the time to look at all I’m sending, things will really fall into place about what’s going on. The New World Order is forming as we speak and it’s not exactly how we felt it would be. Technocracy/Sustainable Development/weforum.org/UN/NWO are all working together to bring in it!
My husband and I believe this is what we are really up against! Praise God, Jesus wins!

Hi Maranatha,
Thanks for all of this. Yes, what we are seeing in society is exactly the kind of thing you highlight in your comments. I’ve begun my next book, which will delve into the subject of Technocracy (along with transhumanism and eugenics), and how the Bible itself explains what’s coming and how it will develop.
I’ve already written several “chapters” (articles) that I’ll soon be publishing so you can look for those. I’ve gotten several of Patrick M. Wood’s books and I find them fascinating!
It is as you say – the right and the left are not the problem. The problem are the anarchists/Marxists who are leading the charge to overthrow American society’s use of capitalism and free enterprise. What they don’t realize of course, is that they are simply (unfortunately), the useful idiots being used by the elite to change things up. These people will be rounded up and likely eliminated once the change is complete so that they cannot lead a rebellion against the installment of Technocracy.
Since the first book I wrote – Technocracy to Tribulation – I’ve kind of forgotten about that entire subject. But now, since the advent of both BLM and AntiFa (both MARXIST groups), I again realize that the entire area of Technocracy needs to be highlighted and in my opinion, I believe it is the OVERRIDING reality that the elite are using to usher in the New World Order (the final Gentile empire of Daniel 2). It makes more and more sense to me.
I really appreciate you sending those links. I was aware of them and had seen them but had not bookmarked them. I will likely be incorporating them in some fashion in the book I’m currently writing.
Thanks again and may the Lord bless you!

Exactly!!! Seeing as you know about Patrick Wood, have you thought about contacting him and may collaborating together…just a thought. ;0)
We have recently received the cards he’s got made to help make people aware of their 1st Amendments rights and why masks are a health risk and when we go out will be wearing them. They might help a little. This whole situation is diabolical…but God! I truly believe this is a demonic battle only won through praying but at least when we go out we might be able to wake people up a little and even spread the gospel too by sharing Jesus if the opportune arises!

I read through the article and not heard of any of those people. Critically thinking Christians are not opposed to science as you know. There is a growing group of doctors and epidemiologists who oppose Fauci as I’m sure you know. This whole thing with CV-19 has taken a real health issue and blown it up into something it’s not and they’ve been using fear as the motivator. It’s really despicable. The people referenced in the article are the same type of people who stand behind and support the World Council of Churches or Ecumenical councils.

I am 77 years old therefore classed as high risk – I have not worn a mask but will wear a visor if I have to but if I wear a mask I cannot wear my hearing aids and I have no intention of being intentionally deaf. My consultant surgeon daughter (qualified in 1994) tells me that masks are useless, so I completely agree. Herd immunity has worked for thousands of years why is it all of a sudden too difficult to work now? Hmm? I do not have a blog!

Hi Chris,
Thanks for writing. I’ve read many surgeons like Jim Meehan who clearly identify why masks for the average person do NOT work in public and why they DO work (for their express purpose of not allowing respiratory drops from surgeons to end up inside open patients), in surgery settings.
I don’t wear a mask either and unfortunately, wearing a mask seems to NEGATE the attempts of Herd Immunity to do its job. Herd Immunity and Hydroxychloroquine have both been seriously downplayed. Why is that? Makes you think.
Thanks again!

This was another really insightful post. So true. Fierce and incontinent behavior are before us. The satanic influence in our society is no longer even veiled. The brutality against elderly is a particular indictment against our generation. Also, the abuse of children including the point blank execution of a 5 year old boy. When I heard that story I was reminded of the book of Judges when the murder and abuse of a woman was so brutal they sent her body pieces throughout the land. They had reached such a debased state of society that the act and the response were both depraved. An outrageous thing is happening in our land and the apathy from most is hard to believe.
It is like a bad movie witnessing the fear people have as it relates to mask wearing. People accosting others and setting upon them because they do not have a mask on? These people live in a society where they are likely to die from any number of reasons on a daily basis, last of which being the virus. Murder, death and disease kill innumerable people not to mention the slaughter of the most innocent through abortion yet they act as if they have this High regard for life. The hypocrisy is astounding.
It is very difficult to relate to unsaved family and friends. How does one carry on mundane conversations in the midst of the satanticaly energized managed breakdown of civil society? We’ve given Bibles and tracts and attempted to sow seeds for years. Frankly, its becoming almost impossible to maintain relationships outside of the Body of Christ.
I was thinking of President. Trump. There are Christian bloggers, one in particular, who is convinced and asserts Trump is the antichrist. I don’t see that as being likely and I don’t agree with the blogger that it is up to the church to reveal the antichrist. In Isiah 45 we see a picture of Cyrus, a pagan king, who was called by God, protected by God and led by God To show kindness to Israel even though He didn’t know this. Is it possible God has called Trump for this day?
I am reminded of the revived Roman Empire which you mentioned recently…the club of Rome comes to mind with its plan to develop imperial rule over the nations of the world in the name of “climate change”. It is quite fascinating to watch…and they have Christendom, the counterfeit church on board.
We just started the book of Nahum in our study. The judgment of Nineveh who, 150 years prior had repented at the preaching of Jonah was now back to their debased and godless way of living. They had passed the point of no return.
I pray that America has not passed the point of no return and that God in His mercy would reveal there are still many here that have not bowed the knee, and are His faithful ones in the land. I pray His Holy Spirit would restrain the lawlessness that is overtaking our land and that, for our sake, He would show Himself strong and subdue the nations, allowing us to live Godly lives in Christ Jesus and for His Word to continue to go out that many will hear and believe upon Jesus for salvation. May He provide a hedge of protection for those who belong to Him and keep us from the evil and wickedness in our midst. May He bless all those who keep His Word. Greater is He who is in us than He who is in the world.
7 The LORD is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him.
8 But with an overflowing flood
He will make an utter end of its place,
And darkness will pursue His enemies.
9 What do you conspire against the LORD?
He will make an utter end of it.
Blessings.

Hi Jen,
I’m with you. Our society (globally, not just in America), has sunk very low due to the loss of a strong moral compass. It reminds me of the numerous times the Bible says that people did what was right in their own eyes (Judges 17), during the days of the judges of Israel. There was no king then, but unfortunately, even when there WERE kings over Israel (or Judah), most of them were so corrupt and evil that people continued to do their own thing.
I think – unfortunately – we have arrived to the point where this appears to be the norm. As you point out, evil and corruption is rampant and when nothing is done about it over a continued period of time, people lose hope and start to live the way they want to ensure their own success. Once any civilization arrives to that point, it is very difficult to come back from it, in my opinion. History has too many examples of it.
Regarding President Trump and whether he’s the AntiChrist, I seriously doubt it. Many said the same thing about Barack Obama and I doubted that then as well. My frustration with President Trump is that IF he was planning on allowing or encouraging charges to happen against people like Hillary Clinton, it appears that he’s waited way too long. I know many keep saying things like, “You don’t interrupt your enemy while they are making fools of themselves,” but there is also something to be said for “striking while the iron is hot” as well.
It is difficult for me to believe that in almost four years, we’ve seen no real justice at all, even after the Mueller investigation showed no proof of Trump colluding with Russia to win the election. In fact, it appears that Hillary and her team colluded with CHINA, but still lost.
I firmly believe that no one becomes a leader of any nation without God’s permission. We see that very clearly in the Old Testament with Israel and many other nations. If you look at the book of Jeremiah, God speaks against numerous nations like Egypt and areas like Moab. In those days, cities were often their own “kingdom,” often ruled over by a king of some type of leader. They were often autonomous.
Whether Trump is Cyrus or not, I have my doubts. Cyrus was raised up as part of the Medo-Persian Empire to save Israel from Babylon. God judged Babylon (even though he first used Nebuchadnezzar as a means of judgment against Israel for their sins, idolatry and corruption), when Balshazzar did the unthinkable and used the vessels from the Jewish Temple (that Nebuchadnezzar had taken but stored in the treasury), and used them to drink out of. This was God’s final straw, so He sent in Cyrus to take out Babylon.
The Medo-Persian Empire was eventually taken out by Alexander the Great of Greece. Each empire of Daniel 2 has a start and God usually used that empire to initiate judgment against Israel, but then used successive empires as judgment against the previous empire normally because of the way they dealt with Israel.
I don’t believe Trump is our modern day Cyrus, but I certainly could be wrong. In that sense, I disagree with people like Mark Taylor, whom I’ve written about before.
I honestly don’t know what to make of President Trump. I have my doubts about at least some of his decisions. The fact that he kept Fauci around for five months, allowing him to do so much damage is ridiculous to me. Some argue that Trump was allowing Fauci’s corruption to rise to the surface. Okay, I get that, but for FIVE months, allowing our economy to shut down, destroying lives in the process? It doesn’t make any sense to me.
If USA has not passed the point of no return, we are on the precipice. Parts of our country are still locked down, social distancing and masks are worn by much of the population, children who are back in school must wear masks and many of them sit at desks surrounded by Plexiglas boxes. This is absurd. It teaches children that they should be afraid of every other human being because of potential lethal diseases they might be carrying even though children are more likely to be hit by lightning than contract CV-19.
We are moving toward a mandatory vaccination for CV-19. I just read yesterday that the CDC is now saying that there may be a “twindemic” this fall when the flu hits so they are recommending everyone get their flu shot now. Other doctors I’ve read have stated that there probably won’t be a flu season this fall because of all the hygiene and social distancing society has been using for the past few months. Someone’s either lying or doesn’t know but pretending they do know.
Massachusetts has already announced that ALL students must receive their flu shot to be allowed back in school. Other states will likely follow. Aside from the heavy metals in these shots (aluminum and thimerosal), what else is in these vaccines?
Whether God chooses to hold off on judgment of the USA and other countries or not, one thing we know for certain is that our job as Christians is to be about spreading the Gospel (Matthew 28). We need to tell people with our words and our lives whether they will listen or not, whether we are under judgment as a nation or not.
I firmly believe God will provide a hedge of protection around those who are His, who are committed to Him and His purposes and who endeavor to be living examples of what it means to be a Christian. I understand how difficult it is to talk with non-Christian friends or family. It is very difficult. We don’t want to be seen as lunatics and we want their eyes open, but we cannot force their eyes to be open anymore than Jeremiah or any other prophet could force the Israelites to see the truth about what God was going to do to Israel even after years of warning. The prophet’s job of course was to simply tell people what God told them to say. If we look at Jeremiah’s ministry, by all human accounts it was a failure because even his own family members gave him grief. But Jeremiah did what God called him to do. He was faithful and lived with the conviction that what he was saying was what God wanted him to say.
Don’t forget…God through the Church being present in the world today, DOES restrain lawlessness from being as lawless as it can get. Without the Church here, this world would be plummeted into complete lawless darkness. The Church, through the Presence of the Holy Spirit keeps things from being really bad and also restrains things so that the Antichrist remains in check. Once the Church is taken up in the Rapture, the Holy Spirit will no longer have that vehicle through which to restrain evil (2 Thessalonians 2). What this tells us is that as bad as we think things are in society today, it will be MUCH worse once the Church is gone. Picture the Hoover Dam collapsing or some other major dam being removed and what that would mean for all the water (evil) being held back.
These are dark times. I doubt seriously that things will change for the better, but I’m certainly hoping I’m wrong about it. In the meantime, my job and yours is to remain faithful to Him and how He wants us to live. That’s a very tall order and would be impossible if not for the internal Presence of the Holy Spirit, right?
God bless, Jen!

When we know the enemy, we can direct our prayers accordingly!
I use the Psalms prayerlist as my Sword of the Spirit! Praise God!
1 Corinthians 3:18-23
Avoid Worldly Wisdom
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. 23 And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
Blessings🙏

Hello Modres, hope you are well. Thanks once again for an excellent article…It’s hard to imagine 5 months ago life was soooo different!
I have asked friends and family to take part in a persistent prayer chain praying the Psalms which petition to God for His intervention during these unprecedented times. Points 1-5 give us assurances and goals we are hoping to achieve praying these Psalms. You might already be part of other prayer lines/chains and the actual Psalms only take around 10-15 mins to get through.
1. God’s Word will not return void
https://classic.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+55%3A10-11&version=NKJV
2. We do not put our trust in man
https://classic.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Jeremiah+17%3A5-6&version=NIV
3. We put on the Full Amour of God
https://classic.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians+6%3A10-19&version=NKJV
4. The Parable of the Persistent Widow – Please note the question asked in verse 8
https://classic.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+18%3A1-8&version=NKJV
5. Ultimately we are hoping for the Rapture
https://classic.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Thessalonians%204:16-18&version=NKJV
Points to pray about when praying these Psalms. Thanks to all who added to the points!
*Bribery and Corruption
*Rape
*Kidnapping and killing’
*Insecurity
*Economic inequalities
*Medical wickedness
*Scheming against the whole of mankind
*Wicked judgements, laws, statues, leaders, governments
*Marxism and all that it entails and those involved!
All these are perpetrated by mankind against mankind!
I have put together a play list you can use or you can just read them, whatever is best for you.
Psalms Playlist – Psalms 2, 10, 11, 36, 37. 64, 73, 23, 91, 72 – Included are two optional prayers and a beautiful song of love
Psalms 2 – Jesus return
Psalms 72 – Jesus’ reign
Ultimately, I am hoping we can all pray these morning and evening at least and we don’t stop. That’s why Luke 18 vs 8 is so important…she was persistent…Jesus asks if He will find faith when He returns? I know you all pray other prayers persistently too so I am not trying to corner it…Lol. Blessings to you all and thank you so much for your faithfulness. Blessings and Maranatha!

Thanks Maranatha. Prayer is certainly needed. I’m hopeful that America has not gone beyond the point of no return as Israel did numerous times in the Old Testament. It could happen. Even if/when it does though, I firmly believe God will protect His own who are relying on Him and worshiping Him through prayer, through our lives and through our words.
We know that Satan is building his kingdom and God is allowing it. What I find fascinating about that is the fact that once Satan has his kingdom built (the final empire of Daniel 2), and ruled over by his spiritual son, Antichrist, that kingdom will actually be out of the shadows and will be publicly viewed. Isn’t that fascinating? Why is this good? Because when Jesus returns, He will destroy the ruler of that final kingdom (Antichrist), and then will dismantle Satan’s kingdom that he was using publicly to fight against God. That’s the main reason Satan creates this kingdom. It’s an attempt to keep Jesus from returning to earth in victory!
So we know the kingdom will be built. We know that it is being built now. We also know that we Christians still have the Great Commission as our marching orders and that is not dependent on whether times are good or bad. It is supposed to happen all the time.
I certainly believe God can do something about all the corruption in this world. Our prayers can help toward that end and we should be praying for these things. We also need to prepare for what is coming and what is here now in case the Lord chooses not to respond in a way that we are seeking.
We lose absolutely nothing by committing ourselves to this type of prayer. Thanks again for the reminder!
