News and Notes Update: February 1, 2021

Understand please that when I say the PreTrib Rapture, I am talking about the Lord taking His Church/Body to be with Him prior to the pouring out of His WRATH. The Bible says “day of the Lord” is the start of God pouring out His wrath onto humanity and this earth. It is not a particular “day” but a period of time; the seven year Tribulation period. The entirety of that seven years is the pouring out of God’s wrath and note, all events of the Tribulation are directed by God from His throne room as evidenced by the fact that the apostle John is called up to heaven to begin viewing those events from that vantage point (Rev 4).

So, while the Church is fully exempt from all aspects of God’s wrath, we are not exempt from tribulation (small “t”) and persecution in this life. In fact, we are promised tribulation (Matthew 10:16-42; John 15:20; 2 Timothy 3:12; see also Revelation 2:10). Persecution is promised. If you are not at all being persecuted for being a Christian, maybe your circle of friends is too small. Maybe you’re not being an effective witness for Christ. I’m not trying to make you feel guilty. I’m simply noting that you may wish to take a look at things. Are you afraid to stand up for Jesus? Are you unwilling to speak out against the things that society has said we cannot be “negative” about? I’m not saying to go looking for persecution. I’m simply saying be prepared for the fact that if you’re not suffering for it now, it may well be on the way.

Replacement Theology Creates False Hopes

Notice Wood says “God is going to The One to bring about the Great Awakening AND the Great Reset…” I have no idea who he thinks “The One” is here. Is it Donald J. Trump? Is it Jesus? Who is he referring to? We simply don’t know. However, from the comments he received on this post, many people are in agreement with him and very excited and encouraged about what he has to say! To me, this marks the emergence of the “great falling away,” (Matthew 24:10-13; 1 Timothy 4:1-5; 2 Thessalonians 2:3), because so many seem not to know their Bibles and prefer teaching that tickles their ears (2 Timothy 3:1-5).

It’s All About Dominionism, Kingdom Now, and the New Apostolic Reformation, Part 6

But today, people like Wallnau want us to believe that God’s 45th chapter of Isaiah references Donald Trump, but how does this tie in with Donald Trump? If the Donald is elected, he would become the 45th president of the United States (Isaiah 45 – get it?). Obviously, the two numbers mean there is a godly connection, at least to Wallnau and others who see it his way. But let’s hear it more. I’ll remind everyone that when Isaiah was originally written, no chapter or verses numerical references were given. Those were added much later by translators. By the way, never mind that Cyrus was an actual king over the Persian Empire. Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander, Cyrus, Darius, the Caesars – all of them were either kings or had dictatorial powers over the nations/empire they ruled. This is not the way America was founded, yet too many Christians have made the mistake of thinking that America should be a theocracy. It’s not. It never will be and the difference is lost on the people who gullibly believe the Lance Wallnau’s of this world.

It’s All About Dominionism, Kingdom Now, and the New Apostolic Reformation, Part 4

There are frankly, too many of these Dominionist organizations and offshoots to keep up with and we are overwhelmed with their fear daily. It’s enough to make you want to drop anything to do with simple evangelism and work on turning this country around, isn’t it? That’s the plan, which I believe was spawned in hell. Create Fear. Call to Arms. Take Back Society. It’s always interesting to hear how many of these organizations have “apostles” and “prophets” too. The implication is that you do not disagree with an apostle and you certainly do not question or counter the word of a prophet. Because of that, there is a built-in pseudo-authoritarian-like atmosphere within many, if not all of these organizations. God has “anointed” them and their leaders. How dare you (or I) question their methods, motives, and goals even if it doesn’t align with Scripture!

It’s All About Dominionism, Kingdom Now, and the New Apostolic Reformation, Part 3

People like C. Peter Wagner do not appear to understand why things are unfolding as they are unfolding in the world. I believe the reason has to do with an erroneous focus of Scripture. These folks see the Great Commission as a tool to increase the Lord’s Army in order to take the world back for God. They do not necessarily see the Great Commission as an end in and of itself, one that brings tremendous glory to God as more lost souls are brought into the heavenly kingdom via salvation.

It’s All About Dominionism, Kingdom Now, and the New Apostolic Reformation, Part 2

Evil isn’t winning. Though it may seem that way, it is far from it. It’s all part of God’s plan and He does not need any of us to carry it out though He has chosen to use some who will answer His call. In fact, while He graciously allows us to be part of the picture (and doesn’t have to), He in no way expects us to carry the brunt of the work anymore than He expects us to earn our salvation. You didn’t earn your salvation, right? Jesus literally bought it for you. You received it what He bought. Satan will receive the consequences of Christ’s victory at some point in the future. For now, God allows Satan to live as though he is still in control, but his end is certain (Revelation 20:10).

What Are We to Think of the Prophets and Apostles that Exist Today? Part 4

But here we are because we think the Holy Spirit lives within us (He does if we are actually saved), then He will guide us into all truth. We discount our fallen, sinful natures that exist right alongside of our new natures deep within us. Feelings will lead us astray. God’s Word won’t, if we are willing to obey it.

Christians need to stop focusing on things that cater to our fallen natures. Feelings or emotions – when used to determine truth – will fail more times than they might succeed. We must use His Word, not the way we feel about something. His Word will not fail. Rather than give heed to some person who believes they have been given apostolic authority or mantled with the title “prophet,” take what they teach and actually compare it to God’s Word.

Heresies Overtaking Churches Today, Pt 1

The movie War Room plays this up. At one point, we see the older black woman’s character praying in her “war room” (prayer closet) and she calls upon God to “raise up an army!” This army is not intended to preach the gospel. It is intended to change the world so that Jesus will be able to rule this world through Christians and those who profess to be Christian. But again, remember what Warren said. He didn’t even care if the person he worked with was a Muslim as long as the larger goal of destroying the “five giants” listed above is in mind.

And They Say The PreTrib Rapture is THE Deception!

What creates lazy and unspiritual Christians is listening to, and heed to seducing spirits, who preach another gospel. That other gospel is found within the New Age Movement, which has surrepticiously made its way into the visible Church.
