Babylon and Its System, Part 3
Van Tassel, in the 1950’s, held public meetings where the public could ask questions of Ashtar and where answers would be provided, channelling their information through Van Tassel. The Ashtar Command revelations were compiled into a book that details future events that will take place on the earth. Interestingly, Ashtar himself is said to be, “a Beloved Christian Commander and a very beautiful Being.” [3] Fascinating, isn’t it? Angel of light maybe to deceive? I think so. See 2 Corinthians 11:14.
No One Considers Eternity…
Death comes to everyone of us. It’s going to happen. Think about all those celebrities of yesteryear from Hollywood’s Golden Years. People literally worshiped those people but in the end, regardless of their fame, wealth and power, they could not avoid the great equalizer: death. Celebrities continue to die today. Look at the shows you may have grown up with and ask how many of those actors are still alive now? Death is no respecter of persons. It comes for everyone regardless of rank in life.
Called Home
I really do want to spend the rest of my life doing what the Lord wants me to do. I’d love to hear at the end of it before I pass, my name being called and the veil that separates this life from the next pulled back. But whatever happens, I know that once I pass from this life to the eternal realm, that’s when I will really start living because the sin nature will be surgically removed by Physician Jesus Himself.
Death in Las Vegas
We need to be prepared and the only way to be prepared is to know the Author of Life, God Himself through Christ our Lord. This life is so absolutely temporary. We need to come to terms with that. Some reading this could die before this day ends of natural causes, in an auto accident, or something else entirely. When it comes time for us to pass from this life to the next, we will do so and nothing will stop that. It is predetermined by God, who is Sovereign. We all live and die according to His will and good pleasure.
Fish Need to Be Hungry to Bite
Is it any wonder that Jesus turned the disciples into apostles who literally fished for people? Any good fishermen will tell you that there is only so much that he/she can do to actually catch fish with a rod and reel. The hook should be baited with something that those particular fish like and needs to be covered so that no part of the hook is visible to the fish. The other thing the fisherman needs to do is try to be as quiet as possible because water tends to increase the sound waves, scaring away the fish.
Christians Who Don’t Believe in the Great Commission
The world is God’s enemy and He has us here for one task and one task only: to fulfill the Great Commission. Though He will destroy this world and its evil system, God wants to save as many people out of it as possible. To do that we must talk the talk and walk the walk. Though we will never do this perfectly in this life, God will certainly honor our efforts if our goal is to see the lost saved. While our friend above is deliberately trying not to be “over-the-top,” 150,000 people die into eternity every day. What about them? Who will explain to them their absolute need for Jesus? Moreover, when our friend stands before Jesus, what will he hear the Master say to him?
