Ushering in a One World Religion?

The spiritual tower of Babel is being rebuilt again, this time by religious leaders throughout the world. The Pope has determined that in spite of any theological differences he can join hands with the Grand Imam from Islam. They and others worked together to create a document that has as its outcome a great similarity with the first Babel. However, there will be one huge difference between the first Babel of Genesis 11 and the one that’s being built now. Unlike the first Babel, God Himself will not come down. Instead, it will be the Antichrist who appears on the scene and unfortunately for this world, he will be accepted by most as the living God.

Growing Ecumenical Deception Taking Hold, Pt 3

If Antichrist walked onto the religious scene right now, he would very likely be fully accepted and even worshiped by many with the New Age, the Charismatic Movement, NAR, and elsewhere. Why? Because of a complete lack of discernment on the part of many. Just consider the way Steven Furtick (Elevation Church), introduced Bishop T. D. Jakes to the platform at his church, who referred to Jakes as the greatest preacher of this generation, yet Jakes holds several heretical viewpoints regarding God’s nature that do not square with Scripture at all. Or listen to Mike Bickle (IHOP) talk about Bill Johnson (Bethel, Redding CA), as though he were God’s gift to the Church. This ought not to be but it exists.

Pope Francis Equates Bible to Qur’an; Christianity to Islam

PLEASE NOTE: It has come to our attention that we used a spoof site – the National Review – as the source of this article. We nearly made a similar mistake with another article a while back, but caught our mistake in time.
Not to excuse our mistake, but with so much out there about how this particular Pope has been moving toward Islam, even recently praying in a Turkish mosque, it gives one reason to pause.
That said, we should have checked our sources more carefully and we appreciate a reader bringing this to our attention. We will be removing this article soon.
