Does God Know or Does He Not Know?
But if God sees all, why do we read portions of Scripture where it appears – at least on the surface – that God doesn’t have a full or complete understanding of a particular situation and because of that, needs to actually come down to the physical location of earth, walk around, and see things for Himself? What is the true meaning of that?
Known by Their Beliefs and Works
Like Hillary, Elizabeth Warren believes herself to be a Christian, yet her belief in salvation is clearly anchored in works (“The sheep are going to heaven because they fed the hungry, ministered to the sick.”). This is terribly tragic because salvation cannot be earned or purchased. It is a gift freely given through faith in Jesus and His sinless life, death, and resurrection. He paid the price for our sin, which originally placed us under God’s judgment. Our faith in Christ’s finished work forgives our sin, and imputes to us Christ’s righteousness. This is what grants us salvation.
Prophecies of Isaiah, Pt 7
It will be interesting to see what transpires over the next few years regarding Babylon. Will it rise again? If so, what will it be like? Chances are great that this city, according to Scripture, will be rebuilt and play a part in the coming Tribulation. However, what is far more important for each and every Christian is to live in a way that glorifies God so that others might see the difference in our lives and be pointed to the God of glory, who has died for their sin.

False Prophets and Teachers are Nothing New
Society in Ezekiel’s day as well as Paul’s day was filled with spiritual con artists. It is the same with our society today. Like those of old, today’s false prophet/teacher has no fear regarding what they say because they either honestly believe that they are right (being deceived themselves), or they don’t consider that God sees and hears all things. Though His condemnation of their lies is clear, because His judgment is put off for now, they believe it will never come.

Babylon’s Future Demise
Jeremiah 50:4 tells us several things will occur with the Israelites due to the destruction of Babylon in the future. Notice it says that the people will “come together.” This means that en masse, they will actually leave Babylon and seek the way to Zion. This is not allegorical verbiage to be interpreted metaphorically. It clearly means that in the day Babylon is fully and utterly destroyed, those Israelites living there will leave and journey to Zion (Jerusalem/Israel), where they will enter into a new covenant with God, an everlasting covenant. This is all part of God’s plan to open the eyes of those who will make up the final remnant and enter the Millennial Kingdom ruled by Jesus as saved Israelites who will finally and fully inhabit the Land of Promise.
Prophecies of Isaiah, Pt 6
God gets things done and in this case, he moved Isaiah to prophecy regarding Babylon and its demise by the Medes. It is believed that Isaiah prophesied this upcoming historical fact roughly 150 years before it occurred. The actual event took place right around 539 BC. Higher critics say that another “Isaiah” came along after the fact and wrote about the event after either seeing it or hearing about it. The testimony of Scripture (including the New Testament) makes no indication that there might have been more than one Isaiah. In fact, John quotes several places of Isaiah in his same Gospel and attributes both to the same Isaiah (John 12:37–41).
Current Societal Hysteria is Due to What Exactly?
Because God is truth (Psalm 86:11; John 14:6), truth cannot be destroyed. But what is happening in society right now? Scott Adams – creator of Dilbert – recently wrote an article entitled, “How To Know You’re In a Mass Hysteria Bubble.” Scott has some good things to say and he’s fairly non-emotional about it, which I appreciate (if you’ve ever watched one of his live videos with viewer comments rolling across bottom, you’ll see it). We need more level-headed discussion, but it is few and far between given the fact that today’s AntiFa and average Fascist Leftist is not really interested in discussion. They are wound tightly via their emotion and that is what guides them. As we’ve stated time and time again, emotions should never be used as guides for people because they are extremely deceptive. What might seem like “truth” from your emotions can lead you very easily down the wrong road. The Bible is filled with examples of what happened to people who made decisions based on how they felt about something rather than on the truth of God’s Word.

How Not to Be Vexed by Society’s Rebellion
The amount of lawlessness, rebellion, destructive actions, and godless thinking that goes on in society is nothing new. It exists in every generation. As this age moves toward its God-appointed climax, we can be assured that this level of rebellion against God will continue unabated. All too often, God’s people will become the victims of the rebellion and idolatry of the age. We have the record of Scripture that clearly defines the past for us and the prophecies of the future that do the same.
Prophecies of Isaiah, Pt 5
What was Isaiah’s reaction to this? His own uncleanness! He was beside himself with remorse. Here he was in God’s holy Presence and his own filth became that much more pronounced. How could it not, yet this prophet Isaiah had already been used by God to bring a prophetic message to the wayward people of Israel. Yet, he learned that he was no better than they because he also was “unclean” as he stood there in God’s Presence.

Prophecies of Isaiah, Pt 4
The latter days spoken of often in Scripture, are times in which I believe we are living now. In fact, it seems clear that these “latter days” begin with the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus. From that point to today, we have been living in “latter” or “last” days before aspects of prophetic discourse finds fulfillment. Several thousand years ago, the prophet Isaiah spoke of the days in which we now live, but he also included the coming Millennial Kingdom over which Jesus will reign.
