Ushering in a One World Religion?

The spiritual tower of Babel is being rebuilt again, this time by religious leaders throughout the world. The Pope has determined that in spite of any theological differences he can join hands with the Grand Imam from Islam. They and others worked together to create a document that has as its outcome a great similarity with the first Babel. However, there will be one huge difference between the first Babel of Genesis 11 and the one that’s being built now. Unlike the first Babel, God Himself will not come down. Instead, it will be the Antichrist who appears on the scene and unfortunately for this world, he will be accepted by most as the living God.

Joseph’s Life and Lessons, Part 4

Sometimes, it is very difficult for us as Christians to accept the circumstances that we find ourselves in through no fault of our own. I’m not talking about having to deal with problems we create for ourselves. I’m talking about those things that happen that affect us that we did not see coming. If God loves us, will never forsake us and will always remain with us, when things happen that we do not expect, is it logical to say that those things just “happened” or took us or God by surprise? We want to ask “where is God?” when in point of fact, He never left and is creating circumstances that might appear negative but they have His purposes in mind. What are those purposes? They are always to do two things. First, they are refine us and recreate the character of Jesus within us. Second, they are designed to always give God glory.

Voiding Logic to Uphold Late Term Abortion

These types of lies – saying babies aren’t actually children or that blacks cannot be racist – has positioned people against one another. It is all done because of the lies that have changed definitions. Unborn children are not truly children, therefore if the mother does illegal drugs, it’s not child abuse. Blacks cannot be racist because they apparently have no power over whites. Both of these are completely bogus, yet the Left continues on with a nonplussed attitude, deliberately denying the truth because if they admitted it, they’d have no excuse not to change their attitude and behavior.

Joseph’s Life and Lessons, Part 3

Joseph undoubtedly learned a great deal of patience through these situations and gained much wisdom. I’m sure he was scared and at times, probably overcome with fear (imagine if you were accused of sexually harassing someone and you knew it to be untrue, yet you were not believed and went to prison for it). Over time, as Joseph trusted God, God did provide and He brought Joseph through these difficult situations.

Continuing Road to Health

I don’t know about you, but I would like to be at my best, health wise. I know that I’m eating right and that I avoid nearly all highly-processed foods. I eat organic whenever possible and pass by all the garbage that passes off for food these days. I’m learning that this is not enough. Our bodies need more and at least some of that is found within the nutritional supplementation department. Certainly some is found in the prescriptive medication department as well.

Joseph’s Life and Lessons, Part 1

One parallel we can make between Joseph and Jesus is that just as Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers, Jesus also was sold by his own fellow Jews. Joseph had done nothing morally wrong that warranted him being treated so badly. It’s even possible that as a 17-year-old young man, the things he said to his brothers and father were not done in a bragging way as previously mentioned, but possibly in a very innocent way. It would be natural for people listening to these things to take umbrage or to become very jealous if their hearts were not right with God.

The New Age Reveals Satan’s Intentions, Pt 3

Within the New Age, there is strong belief that one day, this world will spiritually evolve to a level, heretofore unknown in human history. Call it the Age of Aquarius or something else, but New Agers believe it will happen. At some future point, a global governance of this world will exist and of course, the New Age makes it plain that this coming united world will be a very good thing. In fact, it’s what the New Age in all its various forms has been seeking for generations.

The New Age Reveals Satan’s Intentions, Pt 2

It is very possible that Satan has directly or indirectly provided these people and many others with insight into how things will develop and these same people – whether or not they support Trump (though many leaders within the New Age do) – believe that because of all the things that are happening behind the scenes now to ferret out all the corruption in many governments throughout the world, there will come a new system.

The New Age Reveals Satan’s Intentions, Pt 1

I’ve always found it fascinating that more Christians are not at least aware of the belief system and tenets that undergird the New Age movement. While what we do not know can’t necessarily harm us, it can deprive us of the specific maneuvers that Satan employs in his attempts to advance his own kingdom on this earth (allowed by God). As Paul says we are not to be unwise to the wiles of the devil (2 Corinthians 2:11). It makes sense, doesn’t it, to know how the enemy works and the devices he employs?

Humanity in the Beginning…

If you consider the millions upon millions (hopefully) of Christians in this world alive now, chances are good that we all do not agree on everything, do we? Part of that has to do with the fact that not every Christian knows the Bible to the nth degree. In fact, it is doubtful that any Christian knows the Bible to the nth degree and no longer needs to study it. The various degrees to which Christians understand God is directly related to how much of His Word we have studied and understand. I’m sure when I stand before Him at the BEMA Seat, among other things, I will learn where I failed to understand His Word. In fact, all of us will. We can only hope that our misunderstandings are relegated to the area of the “non-essentials” of the faith. I certainly don’t know everything there is to know about God’s Word, but hopefully, as my life continues toward my appointment with God, I will know more and more, which will segue into a deeper walk with God in Christ.
