Death in Las Vegas

We need to be prepared and the only way to be prepared is to know the Author of Life, God Himself through Christ our Lord. This life is so absolutely temporary. We need to come to terms with that. Some reading this could die before this day ends of natural causes, in an auto accident, or something else entirely. When it comes time for us to pass from this life to the next, we will do so and nothing will stop that. It is predetermined by God, who is Sovereign. We all live and die according to His will and good pleasure.

Signs, Wonders, Tongues, and Miracles of Today, Part 3

Jesus used miracles to authenticate His credentials and ministry to the leaders of Israel. They rejected Him in spite of those credentials. Jesus spent His ministry meeting needs of the average person. Miracles mean nothing without actual love for people. Yeah, they can be exciting, noteworthy, and uplifting. The problem though is that miracles in and of themselves do not necessarily convince people that God is God. Often, it takes someone who is willing to spend time with someone, listen to them, and even help them in their need. This is exactly what Jesus did.

Loathing What Humanity Has Done to Earth

This world is filled with evil all because of sin. Death, suffering, and corruption have become our lot. Try as we might, we cannot make this world a better place. Only God can do that. The most we can is relieve some of the suffering and introduce people to new life in Christ.

We are all going to die and we have no clue about our day or time of departure. If I am living my life daily considering the fact that I could die at some point in each death, am I being spiritually mature, or lazy and unspiritual?

Gloom and Doom Teachers and Preachers are in it for the Bucks! and One More…

How many Christians today actually LIVE as if it is their last day on earth? I know very few of them. “Oh, but wait!” someone might argue. “The Rapture is NOT going to happen at any time, therefore the only way to really live that way is to consider that the Christian might die…before…….the………..day…………..is………..over (gulp).” Yeah, that’s it exactly, isn’t it?
