What Can We Expect During the Millennium, Part 10?
Following the peace and true prosperity of the 1,000-year Millennial Kingdom, there is more bad news in store for people like the ones described above (and for more about this, read Romans 1 where Paul explains the natural downward spiral of those who start out rejecting God and end up full-blown leftists). Once the Millennial Kingdom is over, the Great White Throne Judgment occurs.

What Can We Expect During the Millennium, Part 9?
Because God’s holiness and glory will be evident during the Millennial Kingdom, many born during this time will come to know Him through salvation they will ultimately receive. Remember, people born during the Millennium will still be born in corruption, or with a sin nature. They will need to come to terms with this and receive salvation during this time. Unfortunately, as we know, many will not and will side with Satan once he is released from the pit (Revelation 20:7-10). These individuals, along with Satan will be destroyed by God.

What Can We Expect During the Millennium, Part 7?
If it is true that Jesus has established His personal and promised Kingdom from the Father’s right hand now, then everything in Revelation and many other portions of God’s Word that define His personal rule over a physical kingdom here on earth following His return during the Millennium, are to be taken allegorically. In fact, if Christ has fully established His Kingdom now, there is actually no point at all for His Second Coming in the final analysis because, according to those who interpret His Word allegorically, Christ is already ruling from the heavens. As such, there is no need for Him to return to fulfill any of the promises related to His physical Kingdom on earth nor is there any need for Him to rule physically from earth.
What Can We Expect During the Millennium, Part 5?
It is very difficult for the average person to imagine a society where oppression no longer exists and true, unqualified peace reigns. We would remind readers that this will be the case because of the fact that Jesus will rule with a rod of iron, as the Scripture notes (Revelation 2:27). If Jesus were to ease up restrictions, both oppression and conflict would become a normal part of society then as it is now and has been since the fall of humanity. It is also important to understand that God will have poured out His Spirit upon mankind as He promises to do so in Scripture (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17).
What Can We Expect During the Millennium, Part 4?
Jesus will rule here on earth and Christians living now who have died by that point will be with Him (with many reigning with Him in some sense). Those Christians who have died will not have the sin nature nor will they be capable of ever sinning again. However, in spite of His Kingship and perfectly just rule over all the earth, people will rebel and sin. This is exactly why the Bible tells us that He will rule with a rod of iron (cf. Revelation 2:27). The obvious meaning is that Jesus will not let His guard down and will constantly work to keep things in check because of the sin nature that will continue to exist. This is also why at the end of the Millennial Kingdom, when Satan is released from the Pit, many will be deceived into joining Satan in mounting a full rebellion against God.
What Can We Expect During the Millennium, Part 2?
We also need to remember that though the people who start out entering the Millennial Kingdom will all be saved, others will be born during the 1,000 years. Because more human beings will be born during those 1,000 years of peace, they will be born with a sin nature and because of that, will need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, who will be physically ruling over all the earth at that time. Because of this, Israel will finally fulfill its original purpose of being a light to all nations regarding salvation. This is clear in passages such as Zechariah 1:11 and 8:23 as well as Malachi 3:12.
What Can We Expect During the Millennium, Part 1?
We know that Jesus currently sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven and He rules with Him now (Hebrews 12:2; Philippians 2:8-9; John 1:1-3; 17:5; Acts 7:55-56). However, if we consider just Psalm 2, we learn that God the Father will install as ruler His Son, Jesus, to rule the nations from Zion (Jerusalem). It is an interesting Psalm and one that is tied to God the Son’s future rule over all the earth. Revelation tells us that He will rule with a rod of iron (Revelation 2:27) and this refers to His physical rule over all the earth. It is difficult to understand Scripture in terms of allegory when it is too clear that the texts are to be taken literally, just as the texts were to be taken literally referring to Christ’s physical birth as an infant into this world as a human being (while retaining His full deity; the God-Man with two natures; Philippians 2).
It’s All About Dominionism, Kingdom Now, and the New Apostolic Reformation, Part 8
As I’ve stated before, the overall problem with human attempts to institute a “Christian theocracy” especially using Old Testament laws to do so, is that the concept of grace is gone. Beyond this, people involved in this movement are actually declaring that God is incapable of doing it Himself. Moreover, the question of who – or which group – would actually be in charge of such a system also needs to be asked. Unlike Israel of old, we do not have an “urim and thummin” as was used by the Old Testament Jewish priests. Even if we did, we have no clue how the priests determined God’s will from using it. Colossians 2:17 tells us these things were merely a shadow of the things that were found in Jesus. They are gone. North wants to bring them back.
Why Some Christians Work Hard to Change Society
It is one thing to vote and choose our leaders wisely. It is important to understand the bills our elected leaders are trying to pass into laws. It is equally important to understand what God’s purposes are in all things and to appreciate the fact that – whether we think so or not – God has it all under control. He no more needs us to usher in a “golden age” so that He can eventually return anymore than He needed our help in bringing His redemptive purposes to fruition. We are simply the benefactors of His grace, love, and salvation. We receive it and do nothing to earn it. By the same token, we can do nothing to bring about the physical return of Jesus to this planet as the time, day, and hour has already been set in stone.
Earthquakes in Various Places…
You would think if people took the time to record an event like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, they might be inclined to record an event like a massive earthquake, if one happened.
