Trump vs Neocons

June 15, 2023 at 8:38 AM 8 comments

If you haven’t noticed, neocons run things in the federal government. Neocons essentially means new conservative. But this is really a misnomer.

Neoconservatism is a political movement that began in the United States during the 1960s among liberal hawks who became disenchanted with the increasingly pacifist foreign policy of the Democratic Party and with the growing New Left and counterculture of the 1960s, particularly the Vietnam protests. Some also began to question their liberal beliefs regarding domestic policies such as the Great Society. Neoconservatives typically advocate the promotion of democracy and interventionism in international affairs, including peace through strength, and are known for espousing disdain for communism and political radicalism. [1]

In essence, the “new conservative” came into its own after the original 9/11, when patriotism in the USA surged. The problem though is that neoconservatives highly prize “peace through strength.” While that sounds good because it appears on its face to be opposed to war, the reality is that war is money and so many neocons highly prize involvement in wars, battles and skirmishes throughout the world because it brings in a good amount of money for those invested in war.

In his third episode on Twitter, Tucker Carlson lays things out very clearly regarding the problem between neocons and Donald Trump. [2] Trump’s greatest sin was in wanting to stop wars and to get US military out of foreign countries; military that was there for the purposes of war and to “enforce” or “create” democracy. Trump made the “mistake” of thinking that Washington would be forced to go along with his goals of actual peace, when in point of fact, Washington began the process of pushing back on Trump the day he was inaugurated. So we’ve gone from trying to “make America great,” to “let’s destroy America by any means necessary.”

The most recent debacle related to Trump is his recent arrest and indictment for having classified documents away from the White House. As Trump accurately detailed in a recent speech, many presidents have done what he did and far “worse” and yet, nothing happened to them. [3] Why? Because the president comes under certain specific protections related to classified materials and mainly because they never stood in the way of the Pentagon’s war machine.

Trump highlighted the actual illegal acts of people like Joe Biden when he was a senator and vice president, Hillary Clinton and others, related to classified documents, who because they were not president at the time, did not enjoy the same level of protection as those who are president.

If Trump were still president, there would be no Ukraine vs Russia or “WWIII” happening right now. One can only wonder how much money neocons are making because of all the armaments given to Ukraine. How does it come back to them? We may never know.

Even Nikki Haley (presidential candidate), recently touted the same tired, warn out mantra of the Ukraine war was good for the USA as far as “national security” was concerned. No, it really isn’t. Ukraine is about racking up extreme debt in the USA and making millions for certain neocons who invest in war. Trump wanted to turn off that financial spigot and his promises to do so were fighting words to neocons.

So now, we are sitting through yet another Leftwing hit job, where it appears they want Trump imprisoned for hundreds of years. It’s all an effort to keep him from running in 2024. Will they succeed? I’ve no idea but I do give Trump credit because he seems unflappable. What they have put this guy through is an abomination and really shows the world just how deep the swamp is in DC.

I have no idea what will happen. In a world of truth, this would not even have occurred, but we are living in Bizarro World where good is bad, wrong is right and up is down. The corruption is rampant and thorough; all-pervading.

I find it remarkable that decades ago a politician by the name of Joe McCarthy led the fight against Communists in America. There were plenty of them and some of the most well known figures and faces were in fact Marxists. People like Charlie Chaplin and many others lived with the ideology that they escaped from and brought it here to the US.

Decades later, this country is being destroyed by neocons who are conservative in name only. They like war. They enjoy it for the financial rewards they receive and they inordinately believe that it’s not merely a show of strength. It’s actually the US military being used to bully other nations into submission so the Pentagon can perfect new weapons systems and methods of torture on “enemies.” The main goal however, has always been and remains a big payday and war can really bring in the financial bacon to those who are invested in weapons and armaments. War ramps up the factories to produce more military armaments and weaponry. It’s big business. Big business.

So Trump’s sin was in not wanting unnecessary but extremely financially beneficial wars all around the globe. That was his sin. Neocons could forgive him for everything else, but not that. Soros and a hundred others all knew to reduce America’s military involvement in the many wars they saw with floating dollar signs was significant to the effect that would have on their wallets.

Because of this, all the stops were pulled out to take down Trump. He must go and if they couldn’t make him go, they would hem him in at every turn. Tucker points to people like Mike Pompeo who, as a neocon, sidled up to Trump and managed to get into his administration in several highly powerful positions. While catering to Trump’s ego, Pompeo was actually doing everything he could to keep Trump from being effective. He now speaks out against Trump on MSM.

Nikki Haley did the same thing. In fact, many did like Lindsay Graham and a host of others. They all benefit in one way or another from the “war machine,” either personally financially or by being allowed to move ahead within the GOP.

Oh and let’s not forget Pence. Rumor has it he and Paul Ryan worked together to see if they could get Trump ousted and then Pence would become president and choose Ryan as his new VP. That option failed but still, neocons kept pushing. The federal government spent over $30 million in a fake investigation into Trump (headed by Robert Mueller), which turned out to be a complete bust. The “evidence” that Shifty Schiff kept claiming was there that was going to put Trump in prison never materialized, yet Schiff keeps yammering about it.

It’s truly been one debacle after another where Trump is concerned. It doesn’t even matter if you like, love or hate Trump. The truth of it is that what Trump did was the “unforgivable” sin in Washington DC. The cess pool there should concern you.

There is so much absolute corruption in our nation’s capitol, yet no one is brought to justice. No one. How did it get like that? That’s for another article. It’s time that Christians get on their knees and pray that God would stay the hand of those who are literally using their vaunted positions in DC to enrich themselves and seek to literally destroy anyone who stands in their way.

I’m sickened by the level of depravity, evil and corruption that has surfaced in our political system. I don’t see any corrective measures being brought to bear on it. It needs to be wiped out and started over.

I believe Trump is completely innocent of all charges. Please don’t get me wrong. Trump is not an angel. He’s made mistakes especially with the CV jab and he still pushes it from what I can gather. Frankly, I’m surprised they did not use that jab to take him down, but apparently, they either wanted him alive or they figured a dead Trump would become a living martyr.

Trump’s big weakness is his ego. He enjoys and receives accolades from anyone. Those accolades pump him up and make him think that people are his friend when in point of fact, they hate him with a passion. His ego refuses to let him see this so he makes terrible decisions about other people. Nearly all the people he nominated for positions in the federal government were likely recommended to him by people pretending to be on his side, but in effect, were opposed to him. They recommended people like Christopher Wray for the head position of the FBI. They recommended Nikki Haley or Mike Pompeo.

Trump said he was going to drain the swamp and didn’t even make a dent in that. What he did was prove how corrupt it was but nothing more. The swamp has successfully fought back and proved that they have more power collectively than one man. Were it not for Trump’s ego, he might have seen more clearly. Instead, he was softened and cajoled into doing what people told him was the right thing to do (down to his White House counsel). Too often, it was the wrong way to go, yet he went with it because he trusted the established swamp in DC without realizing it was part of the swamp.

I don’t know how all of this will turn out but it is very obvious that Trump is a threat to the swampy creatures that have made their living in DC for decades and decades. I’d like to say that Trump will be exonerated but I’ve no idea. I tend to think he’ll land on his feet but all it takes is one corrupt judge or slanted jury to side with the swamp.

It is hard for me to believe that this is where we are in America, but it is where we are and there appears to be no end in sight. If I was a betting man, I would not bet on Trump to win because the corruption is waist deep in DC. Of course, God can do whatever He wants to do and that’s just it. He has not told me what He is planning on doing. All we can do is pray that an innocent man will be exonerated. The problem is that it will never be over for Donald Trump until he breathes his last. Even then, the Left and neocons will continue to malign him and portray him as a fugitive from justice that kept slipping between their fingers. They would probably deny him a state funeral as well.

On another note folks, I’m getting ready to take a long, deserved break from writing for a bit. I may wait until July and take that month off, I’m not sure. I’ve been doing this for over 14 years. I’ve written even though I was severely shadow-banned on both Twitter and Facebook. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m shadow-banned by Google or other search engines.

Frankly, I’m tired and every day I wake up, my mind immediately goes to the articles I think I need to write that will change the world. In reality, while I appreciate tremendously the people who read my blog and even taken the time to comment, I’m wanting to set all this aside to just spend more time not thinking about all the garbage in the world. I’d also like to spend more time just enjoying family; my wife, our kids, grandkids and our two wonderful dogs. There’s a great deal of time and energy that goes into writing these articles and it takes a lot out of me.

I’ll let everyone know what I decide to do soon. I’ll either take a bit of time off or I will close the door on this particular chapter and see what else God may have for me and where He may lead.

Thanks to all those who have kept up with me, shared my blog with others and taken the time to comment. It’s been much appreciated!

Please, by all means, keep focused on your family and grandchildren, but know that there are many of us who value your insights. I do hope you don’t decide to put this blog to rest for all time. However, taking a much needed break from the writing is totally understood and good for the soul. Blessings to you!

Hey Greg! I’ve thought about going back on Twitter if for no other reason than to highlight my blog. I hate the bickering though. Has that changed at all?

    Dear Fred,
I remember you writing in one of your posts that you needed to remember to take a break in future as you soon as you began to feel overwhelmed, so it is good to read today that you have not forgotten.

Relax and enjoy the blessings which the Lord has poured out on you in the form of your wife, children, grandchildren and dogs.

Like Taylor, my eyes always light up when I see a new email from you in my inbox. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the loving care that you have demonstrated to your current and future brothers and sisters in Christ over the years.

“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

    Fred,

I can only speak for myself and say it is simply beyond words how much your blog has meant to me in my Christian walk over the years. I can’t for certain pinpoint exactly when I stumbled (lol) upon this website but suffice it to say it’s been at least 10 years or more that I’ve been following you and your guidance.

Fred, Praise the Lord for the work you do!!! Your blogs are must read the moment they are posted. In addition, your archives are amazing materials to assist us in our research and studying of the bible.

I want you to also know that I’ve prayed for you in the past and will be fervently praying for you going forward. I don’t know what God’s will is for your future in this endeavor but my desire is that you would continue to post quality material. I understand your frustration, I feel the very same apathy and disappointment regarding our country as well. That said, you have reached many of us in a profound and material way and through God’s working you’ve also influenced those around us as well.

I pray that God will give you a renewed energy and zeal that will bolster your efforts. I’m calling upon all of your readers to pray for you and your family. I’m calling upon all of the readers of this thread to share your words with others at a level that they have never done previously. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear the work God is doing through this website. It may not be one of a kind but it’s close to it!

Lastly, take your long-deserved break, renew your energies, recharge your battery. Everyone should take the time now and then to get away and enjoy family, friends, and feel God’s presence and direction in our lives. And remember, that changing the world with every single one of your articles can only be accomplished one person at a time. You done that for many of us here Fred already, God bless you, and praying for you!

P.S. 2 Timothy 4:7 I’m reminded of the Apostle Paul’s words in that he fought the good fight and finished the race…in my opinion your race is far from finished.

Thanks so much, Taylor. Your kind words are so appreciated. I’m praying, my wife is praying, you and other readers are praying. I’m sure God will direct.

Who knows but maybe when I do write it’ll be more about God’s grace as evidenced through grandchildren and my two dogs. No idea.

      Thanks again!
