Happy Independence Day

To all who read this blog I hope you have a happy and blessed 4th of July. Don’t allow anyone to rob you of the pride you should have in it knowing what our founding fathers gave to ensure the continuation of this Constitutional Republic.
I have a few more posts coming though I’m sensing a change in direction. I’ve gotten tired of focusing on all the “gloom and doom.” That’s not to say ignoring it means it isn’t there but I just question the approach that many have taken (me included), at times.
So, I want to begin emphasizing what God has said in His Word and how I believe He will protect and provide for those who call on Him in faith believing He and He alone is God and more than capable of holding us firmly in His righteous right hand.
We’re in but not of this world. What have we to fear really?
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you. May we all learn the art fearing to offend Him that it may be well with us even as it is well with our souls. Amen?

So encouraged to hear about the change of direction. Your posts have always blessed me because you seem to have a good handle (and handling of) Gods Word. But I agree…the approach taken by many is to focus on the bad. That’s not what we’re called to do. It is however a fine line to be aware of what is happening but also magnifying Jesus! It is a Holy Spirit led walk for sure! I figure, if I keep my eyes and attention on Him, and He wants me to know about something, nothing is gonna stop Him from making sure that I know lol.

Thx Lynn.

Yes. I’ll probably continue highlighting some of it but we should take great solace in the fact that God laughs evil ppl to derision in Psalm 2.
If God is for us, who can actually be against us?
