Seven Mountain Mandate
Christians have every right to be involved in every aspect of society, whether it’s education, government, entertainment, family or the others. No one should be able to stop a Christian from running for office. However, I have a concern when Christians try to change the flavor and tone of society through the imposition of rules or the Mosaic Law (or Noahide Laws[5]). Jesus changes the heart in those who come to Him in faith for salvation. The Law has never saved anyone and while we need laws in order to create a safe/better society, laws alone do not provide what people actually need. Laws are external while authentic salvation is internal.
Disobedience Brings God’s Judgment
In Jeremiah 9-10, we learn that God is not at all pleased with how low the Judahites had sunk. They had learned a great deal from Gentile nations and none of it was good. If they weren’t trying to depend upon help from these nations in fighting their enemies, they adopted many of the standards and protocols of those neighboring nations and empires.
The biggest problem Judah had was it’s tendency to worship idols. The prophet Jeremiah loved his people so much, he wished he had more tears to shed (v1) for them. His tears is what earned him the nickname “the weeping prophet.”

October 7th…
Several things are important about today’s date, October 7, 2025. First, it is the two-year anniversary for the horrible Hamas terrorist invasion of Israel and massacre of innocent Jewish people enjoying the music at a music festival, who were completely unarmed. Second, today is the revised day that the Rapture is supposed to occur, after the first date setting came and went without incident.
I Purposefully Waited…
While it is very good to long for and expect the coming of the Lord, we cannot stop living and simply wait for Him to return on some appointed day at some appointed time as “revealed” by some believer somewhere. To me, this is very reminiscent of people on YouTube who claim to have been taken to heaven and talked with our Lord. These people go on and express much detail about what they saw and what they heard. In some cases, they claim that the end times is very different from what is in Scripture. In other cases, they tell us that salvation is also different from what the Bible reveals.

Losing the Battle, Winning the War
Reading through the Old Testament and even the New, it is clear that Satan hates those who stand with God against malice, hatred and all manner of sinful corruption that plagues much of humanity. The apostles did not die quietly from old age. Many were brutally murdered. The prophets of old did not retire and draw from their pensions while living in relative ease. They were often treated brutally and even martyred for daring to speak God’s Words to people, words that those people found offensive.
Perilous Times of Evil
Some people enjoy going onto their social media accounts simply to create problems because they can do so often anonymously. They then sit back and watch the fireworks as it gives them a sense of power. In fact, it seems clear only a few years ago that people would say on their social media accounts what they’d never say to another person face-to-face. Now? Seems as though anything goes.
People are divided today by political and ideological lines and the resentment one to the other is often very deep and visceral. Because of social media, some of my friends and I often started butting heads figuratively speaking because of politics and then eventually went our own ways, never to talk again. This seems to have been the goal too.
Babylonizing America
One thing this has taught me is that Babylon and its proponents play for keeps. It appears to be coming to a point where Babylon is not going to put up with pesky conservatives/Christians much longer because there is too much for them to lose. Babylon isn’t playing to lose. Of course, the Bible tells us that at one point, during the coming Tribulation, that the system of Babylon will be killed, as it will no longer be needed (Revelation 18). Of course, God is allowing all of this for His purposes and glory regardless of how difficult that is for us to accept. The momentum is building, giving Babylon its growing power. That power will attempt take down anyone who stands in its way.

Beast System Rising
Just a few years ago, it was difficult to gain an accurate picture of how the final global system would come into existence. Now, with the construction of so many data centers, it has become far easier to see just how the beast system is taking shape. I’m quite certain the Antichrist is alive now, waiting for the right moment to rise to the top and take charge. Of course, the ten “kings” need to rise first and I expect once enough data centers have been completed and are up and running, they’ll finally step out of the shadows and take their place as rulers. Once this happens, Antichrist will rise up, take out three of them and gain supremacy. How and why? Because he will be fully empowered by Satan.
What is Hell?
But in hell and eventually the Lake of Fire, which burns into perpetuity, the constantly burning fire will torment, but not purify. The reason it cannot purify the souls housed there is due to the fact that those individuals will continue sinning in eternity. The unrighteous person does not stop sinning once this physical life is over. They will continue sinning even after they arrive to eternity. The fires of the Lake of Fire/hell, will never be able to refine or purify those sinners there because of their continued sinning throughout all eternity.
His Will Remains
Thank God for His compassion, His pity, His love. Without it, this world would be an absolutely horrible place to live. Yet, God continues to hold out His arms beckoning people to come to Him in spite of their rebellion. He does this with Israel. He does this with other nations and He does this with individual people.
