As lawlessness increases, we know that things are building to a new order, the final empire. The goal of lawlessness is not simply to be lawless. The goal is to overturn and overrule. It puts so much internal pressure on the current system that something has to give. That something is usually the system itself, which is replaced with something else.

The Bible says it will get worse with people who continually reject all truth actually embracing lies to a greater degree. But where does all of this start? As we noted previously, even though the coming one-world government has roots all the way back to Genesis 11, Nimrod, and the Tower of Babel, it all begins in earnest in Daniel 2. This is where God chose to reveal what was previously hidden and starts the clock ticking. It is interesting that God chose to reveal the start of the first empire all the way to the global unification of the fourth and final empire in its revised or “resurrected” form (yet future), through Nebuchadnezzar. However, it makes sense if this is where God began tracking the 70 “weeks” that are revealed in Daniel 9.
An Ill Wind Has Arrived
There is a global malaise developing throughout the world, created by Satan and his minions, and aided by the strong delusion that God will send. I personally believe that the delusion is blanketing this globe as it would appear that Satan is in the final stages of putting all the pieces together to build his global one-world kingdom that God is allowing him to build. This is taking its toll on the lost and more and more people will begin to experience what the person I’ve quoted above is experiencing. They have no hope without God in Christ.
It’s Political Season in Case You Aren’t Aware
Satan is the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4). He is the ruler of the powers of the air (Ephesians 2:2). With God’s permission, he has designed a system for which he will one day gain full control and insert his spiritual son into the mix as the final lawless ruler of the fourth revised Roman Empire, as seen in Daniel 2, 7, 9, and 11. It is bound to happen. There is nothing we can do to stop it as it is written in the “stone” of God’s Word.

It’s obvious that Satan would want to pull out all the stops to keep Jesus from returning. You see, I think that most people who are involved in studying conspiracy theories only get it half right. I’m not talking about their conclusions regarding some of the more major conspiracy theories that exist. I’m referring to what they tend to conclude because of those conspiracy theories. For Satan to stop Jesus from returning, he must have a truly intricate plan to overcome all of society. This is probably best made possible by using one main group or family of people from which he would direct all of his earthly affairs. It certainly is better than the alternative, which is to work through millions of people the world over and try to bring unity and coherence. I cannot see that working. Satan would need a base of operations as it were, in which to bring his plan to fulfillment.

When Antichrist is revealed, the events surrounding the reveal are not only accompanied by all the supernatural power of Satan, but will also include a deluding influence that God Himself sends! If you do not love the truth, there is little to no hope for you at all and that should terrify you.

We have very dark times ahead, but we also have wonderful times of grace, where God will impact people with His truth, His love, and His salvation. Those who are Satan’s will become angrier and those who are destined to be God’s will find their hearts softening.
