War could still happen in Ukraine as Obama condemns Putin for actions there

With all the posturing going on in and near the Ukraine between President Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin, we are left to wonder if something will happen to end the gears of war before a physical conflict has a chance to start.

According to one source, “The Ministry of Defense (MoD) is reporting today that President Putin has ordered the Western Military Districts air-defenses to proceed into an immediate war footing posture in response to the unprovoked, and illegal, NATO aggressions against Russia bringing the United States and Russia even closer to direct conflict than at any time since the 1983 Autumn Forge Crisis that was ‘moments away’ from causing a nuclear Armageddon.”

Obviously, this doesn’t bode well for peace in that area of the world. Moreover, if China and Russia are said to generally agree with one another on how to deal with the Ukraine situation, along with NATO forces ready to step in and stand against Russian aggression, then World War III is certainly in the making. What will happen is literally anyone’s guess at this point. However, it appears very clear that Putin is not in the least afraid of all the saber-rattling by NATO, including the United States.
