Dominion Theology, Kingdom Now and The Ashtar Command

This article is not science fiction. If you’ve never heard of The Ashtar Command (TAC), you may think it’s that because it sounds like something out of a science fiction novel. It’s not, unfortunately. It is actual New Age “theology” that in many ways, is very similar to Dominion Theology and Kingdom Now.

Let me start by saying that there are numerous religions that connect to aliens; creatures believed to be from other planets and even other galaxies throughout the universe. Scientology is one of these and as members of Scientology rise through the ranks, they gain more information about these aliens and their plans to “help” the people of planet earth.

But of course, Scientology is not the only religion that believes aliens play a part in the salvation of earth and its people. In general, the entirety of the New Age movement itself is filled with all sorts beliefs related to aliens. Most of the time, these are referred to as angels, ascended masters or guides. But when you take the time to really study specific New Age writers, it is amazing how many of them eventually refer to alien-type beings as having evolved to a point where they are concerned about what we people are doing to our planet. Their main concern seems to be the constant threat of war and actual wars and skirmishes that break out onto this planet all the time. Accordingly, it’s because it will somehow effect them, so they have broken into our orbit and timeline with efforts to help us de-escalate. Judging from the many wars in just my lifetime, I’d say they’ve failed miserably.

One thing President Trump did correctly was not getting the USA into any new wars. Every other president before him had the USA involved in at least one war. Many presidents seemed to collect wars like notches on their belts.

In this article, I’m not going to go into real depth regarding Dominion Theology. I’ll provide a list of main points with references and I would encourage people to continue their research. What will be learned is that many Christians believe in some form of Dominion Theology (without actually calling it that). In essence, they believe it is the Christian’s job to work to create a better world.

Dominion theology states that biblical Christianity will rule all areas of society, personal and corporate. Christian reconstructionism reasons that society will be reconstructed by the Law of God as preached in the gospel and the Great Commission. [1]

Dominion Theology is also known as theonomy. “Adherents believe that we currently exist under the covenant of grace, that the church and Israel are the same, and we are now in the millennial Kingdom of God. Man, under the covenant of grace, is responsible to rule the world, to hold dominion over it in obedience to the laws of God.” [2]

So, for those who side with Dominion Theology, they believe it is the Christian’s job to work hard to bring this planet under the control of the laws of God. If we add Kingdom Now theology to the mix, the problems, in my opinion, become more clear.

Kingdom Now theology is a theological belief within the Charismatic movement of Protestant Christianity, mainly in the United States. Kingdom Now proponents believe that God lost control over the world to Satan when Adam and Eve sinned. Since then, the theology goes, God has been trying to reestablish control over the world by seeking a special group of believers—known variously as “covenant people,” “overcomers,” or “Joel’s army”—and that through these people, social institutions (including governments and laws) would be brought under God’s authority. The belief is that, since believers are indwelt by the same Holy Spirit that indwelt Jesus, we have all authority in heaven and on the earth; we have the power to believe for and speak into existence things that are not, and thus we can bring about the Kingdom Age. [3]

I’m sure you can see the problem immediately. It places severe limits on God and even questions His sovereignty. Apparently, He lost control and has been unsuccessful in regaining it, so He “needs” us. It’s only by working through specific people on earth, can God ever hope to regain that control. This is not only wrong but blasphemous.

The Second coming or return of Jesus physically to this earth will occur in at least two stages according Kingdom Now. First, He “returns” through believers as He empowers us to change the world (now). When we reach a turning point for Him, He will then return physically where we will give Him this world. It’s patently absurd.

I believe this is why so many set critical thinking aside and went blindly after Donald Trump because of all the fake pastors, prophets and apostles who constantly talked up Trump with their “prophecies” of what God was accomplishing through him. None of it happened. The USA has fallen to Communism because people refused to reason things out with their open Bibles.

What does all this have to do with The Ashtar Command (TAC)? Suffice it to say all of the information outlined and revealed in the TAC is said to have been channeled from higher beings to a person who goes by the name Tuella (Thelma Terrell, d. 1993). The documents can be read at this link: The Ashtar Command

The document is titled, Project: World Evacuation and includes:

  1. PART I: The Seven Secret Councils
    1. The New Strategy
    2. The Summons to the Secret Councils
    3. The Hosts of Heaven Sponsor a Feast of New Experiences
    4. Returning to the Battle
  2. PART II: The Three Evacuations
    1. Mission of Mercy
    2. The Gathering Storm
    3. The Cleansing Action
    4. The Great Exodus I, II, and III

The Forward itself is very interesting because it introduces the main character – a being who calls himself, “JESUS-SANANDA, THE CHRIST.” Gosh, how did he decide on that name? Here is an excerpt from the monologues of “The Christ”:

There must be peace on Earth. There must be an end to wars and hatred between brothers. The millions that come from other worlds, from far-off galaxies to assist in bringing Peace upon Earth, have My staunch support and backing for all of their endeavors. They have come in My Name and they serve under My Banner, as Lord of this Planet. They come not as intruders nor usurpers of My Authority, but in loving subjection to the Spiritual Hierarchy of this Solar System, and the Divine Plan for mankind, the deliverance from bondage that has long held Humanity in subjection to darkness and sorrow.[4]

Over the years, I’ve read so many of these purported “channelings” said to have come from higher beings that I could recite what most say in my sleep. They all speak of a peace that must consume the earth and will come only as society awakens to the “light” and work together to solve the problems faced. Notice the part I’ve bolded. The “lord of this planet” for now, is not God in Christ, but actually Satan, the ruler of this world (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11; 2 Cor 4:4), the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2),

Of course, Satan’s rule here is only temporary until Jesus physically returns and takes control of this planet. He will then set up His Millennial Kingdom, ruling from His father David’s throne in Jerusalem for 1,000 years. Satan’s current limited rule is allowed by God and Satan is on a leash. That must be galling.

The similarities between a good deal of New Age gobbledygook that passes for channeled wisdom from ascended/higher beings on different spiritual planes to the alleged “enlightened” human beings who receive these channelings here on earth are remarkable. When you boil them down, all groups – Dominion Theology, Kingdom Now and New Age ascended masters – all preach that it is up to us human beings to change the world. “God” cannot do it alone.

What I find fascinating as well is that within the New Age camp, much is focused on the ethereal “love” that is supposed to bring us all together. If we will just “love” people, which ostensibly means that we accept whatever they identify as and whatever their sexual proclivities are as well as their various religious views, this world will be a far, far better place.

Notice though that authentic Christians are not able to simply accept what the world defines as “love” nor are we to embrace what the world views as “normal” if God says it’s abnormal. Obviously, we embrace all people and we bring a message of hope to them in their lost state, though that can often sound as though we are judging them, can’t it?

A growing body of people who identify as Christian are moving away from this, choosing instead to embrace everyone’s peculiar lifestyle, whatever they are or think they are and because of that, the Gospel is never preached to these people. Those Christians do not want to be seen as judgmental. Because of this, people are not being told of their need for Jesus.

The world wants to accept all things (except Christians). That’s what’s underneath the New Age Movement. Those Christians who participate in Dominion Theology/Kingdom Now thinking actually begin to do one of two things:

  1. They embrace everyone to “get along” in the hopes that people will see and understand that if we work together for “peace” then society will be molded into a new era allowing Jesus to return, OR
  2. They will become very judgmental toward those with whom they disagree, believing that they must “fight” to overcome those who stand in the way of turning this world over to Jesus

For many of these folks, they believe we are certainly in a war and that war, like the old days with Israel, must at times be fought physically. We must take to the streets, “resist” evil (which is seen in other people), and gain the victory in the power of God so that a new day dawns on this world.

Actually, that’s not it at all. Authentic Christians must be about preaching the Gospel, in word certainly, but also in deed. There was a time when I clearly stated that it was important to be involved in the political process by voting because we have that right in the USA. After recent elections, it seems abundantly clear that the vote has been controlled. It’s more than obvious except to the Left. For years, how many of you have thought, “Well, I guess I’ll vote again for the lesser of all evils?” I voted for Bush Jr., McCain, and even Romney thinking my vote mattered and I was keeping the dam from bursting. It clearly did not because the each candidate was chosen by globalists every time.

Consider that in this most recent election, two of the worst possible candidates on the Democrat side were actually given the green light to be the Democratic challengers to Trump. Yet, these two people were deliberately chosen by globalists to represent the Dem Party. We all laughed. We thought, “what are they thinking? Trump’s second term is a shoe-in!” But that didn’t happen because the voter fraud was real and it was in our faces. Biden/Harris were given the victory and recently installed into office. Why? Because globalists showed us who is in charge and it’s not us. It’s them. Anyone who complains about voter fraud is censored and silenced, accused of being an “insurrectionist.”

But God Himself is allowing these globalists to do their “father” Satan’s bidding because Satan is being allowed to put the final touches on his final kingdom as he brings it to the fore. From everything I can see, we are at the cusp right now and I think over the next months and a few years, all things will come together for that one-world government to officially take its place in future history as God has outlined in the distant past through His real prophets.

Now is not the time to shrink from our responsibilities to God. We must not fade into the background. In fact, we must be resolute in our faith and encouraged to preach the Gospel in word and deed. Persecution is coming. The Bible has stated it. The world hates us because it hates God (Matthew 10:22; 24:9; John 15:18, 21; James 4:4).

Own that. Embrace it. Understand that this is what we rejoice in.

I want to deal a bit more with The Ashtar Command next week. Until then, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

There seems to be a lot of confusion and disagreement as to the events and timeline of the end of the last days. May I suggest an in-depth study of this to help those who are unclear? Of course the need is to “occupy til he come,” and continue preaching the Gospel, yet we are also to “comfort one another with these words” which may help as we enter a time of persecution and confusion.

      Hi LW,

Thanks for your comments. I agree. There’s a lot on my site that covers this, but more is always helpful. I have a video series I’ve also started at http://www.sermonaudio.com/studygrowknow entitled “Focusing on the Future.” I will put up more though starting next week regarding The Ashtar Command and how New Age is creating their own version of biblical events with a satanic twist of course. It’s all very interesting to me. Yes, we need to occupy til He comes (Luke 19:13) essentially means that we should carry on the business that He called us to until He physically returns. What is that? It is to “invest” in bringing the salvation to the lost. Jesus used a parable of the servants to reinforce the idea that some servants were faithful in increasing what the Lord of the manor had given them before He went on His trip. One did nothing to increase the money that was given to him, so we can conclude that those who do nothing to move the Gospel forward will be judged for it. While they will not lose their salvation (1 Cor 3:15), they will lose rewards.

There are essentially two things all Christians are to be heavily involved in. One is Romans 12:1-2 where we daily offer our bodies as sacrifices to Him to become channels through which His will is lived in and through us. This of course takes the decision of our wills to do this. The second thing is to fulfill the Great Commission of Matthew 28. If we involve ourselves in these things, we will be “occupying til He comes.”

Thanks again, LW, and I will get to the things you mention starting next week.

Wow thanks! I’m excited. There is such a flood of garbage to wade through. One quick question: is the Romans 12:1-2 admonishment a one-time action as some have taught based on verb tense, or is it truly a daily decision? I’ve always felt like it was a daily decision even based on Paul’s statement of “dying daily,” but that could be separate. Thanks again brother and may the Lord bless your efforts.

To your question…my understanding is that Romans 12:1-2 is something that Christians should do all day, every day. Each time a temptation arises or a new situation that causes us to seek His discernment, we should be of a mind to submit ourselves to Him so that His will would be accomplished in and through us.

The best example of this is with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane on the night He was betrayed (Luke 22). There, He literally agonized over the upcoming situation. He sought the Father’s will and knew what it was and kept surrendering until He could literally leave it in the Father’s hands. I don’t believe it is a one-time action but I DO believe there needs to be a time when we are willing to say “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15), as Joshua did. Deciding that as a “once for all” is a great place to start, but I think it needs to be re-established on a daily basis and whenever the situation merits.

Let me use an example. When two people marry, they make a commitment publicly to be true and faithful to the person they are marrying. That is the public testimony of their love and commitment to one another. As time goes by, if/when temptation arises, they should then be able to refer back to their original commitment to their spouse and confirm it to help them avoid the temptation to fall into sin.

That’s the way I understand it. Hope that helps.
