Delayed Answers to Prayer

I have long questioned why some prayers seem to take “forever” to be answered. Others seem to occur quickly. Still others can take a week or so give or take. It seems that there is little rhyme or reason for this “delay” in obtaining answers to things we bring before God.

Case in point, since I’ve written about the methylation process in human beings and how my particular system needs extra attention due to the genetic mutations, I’ve been praying about things. Even though it’s not a true science in the sense that a person can simply add methylfolate to their bodies and voila! it’s all good after that. It’s really a process that can elude even the best holistic practitioners, unfortunately. So what do you do? Essentially, you experiment until you find something that works well bearing in mind that it may not work on a continued basis. Adjustments may need to be made. Ultimately, it all boils down to the actual food a person eats, which is the very best way to start things going in the correct direction.

So I’ve been praying. I noticed over the past week that if I add more methylfolate, I can tend to become over methylated, which isn’t good anymore than being under methylated. They both are problematic so I need to observe and listen to my body and adjust where I think it needs to be adjusted. It’s an ongoing process of trying to find the right formula.

My prayers arose from the fact that I was feeling intense (over-methylated), because I was probably taking into too much man-made supplementation. I had also recently purchased another book, MTHFR Gene Therapy Demystified by Dr Robin Terranella. Her book goes into much greater detail than Dr. Lynch’s Dirty Genes regarding the type of genetic mutation and whether or not a person might need more or less additional supplementation. It was interesting to learn that according to my own genetic testing results, I have more mutated genes that actually require less methylation (according to Dr. Terranella). So I became confused and when I’m confused, I also get frustrated. I have to work things out and find an answer that sheds light on my confusion.

So I brought it before the Lord, not knowing why I was feeling tense and over-methylated. I would do what I thought was the right thing only to discover that it didn’t seem to be the right thing based on the way I was feeling physiologically afterwards. I brought it before the Lord and asked for His help.

Nearly a week later, it simply dawned on me. I was taking too much magnesium. I had previously realized that magnesium in supplement form and I did not really get along well. Magnesium itself, though vitally important for many of the processes in our bodies, tends to play havoc with mine. It makes me intense and hyper-focused on minutiae. This obviously is not a good thing because I don’t even want to be around me when I’m like that, so how do you think my wife feels?

So upon realizing what the problem may be, I went back to look at my supplements and found that as part of my routine at night, I take numerous supplements that contain magnesium. I immediately rolled it back. I realize that I need magnesium but for someone like me, it might be best to take less than more and even limiting my supplementation to a few times each week rather than daily.

Okay, I started off talking about prayer and the delay we often go through. The question of why that happens is an important one and I’d like to suggest several reasons why our answers to prayer seem delayed at times.

First, Jesus told us to persevere in prayer. Paul echoed that as well. The idea that we should continue to “remind” God (as though He needs reminding), is important and it’s not so much to remind God about anything. It’s more about reminding ourselves that we’ve brought it to the Father and we need to trust that He will provide the answer in His time and in His way.

I’m mindful of Daniel’s situation in Daniel 10 where he had been mourning for three full weeks over a particular situation. At the end of those 21 days, an angel appears to Daniel with the answer he was searching for after Michael the Archangel had literally gone to help that angel out of the grip of demonic forces that kept him from going to Daniel.

Was this a concern to God? Hardly. God allowed the situation to exist so that Daniel’s strength would be strengthened. God also does that with us. If we get every answer to every prayer the second we ask, our faith would never need strengthening. We would never learn to focus through the trials on God and His provision.

A second thing to remember is that God exists outside of our dimension of time. He is not hindered by it in any way. We are told that one day is like a thousand years to God and a thousand years like one day in 2 Peter 3:8. Ultimately, to me, that means that since God has chosen to reside in the eternal realm and because He is God Almighty, He sees all things occurring as though they all occur now. I’ve said this before, but the cross of Christ is always before the Father. What happens yesterday, today or tomorrow in our timeline is always available to God as though happening now.

Though Daniel experienced 21 days of silence until the angel was freed from demonic forces by Michael, those 21 days did not necessarily exist in God’s realm.

So my prayers to God are heard the moment they are thought and then uttered. The response given by God is in line with His eternal realm and where that falls on my own timeline in this dimension is often different from that. As a Christian, I must simply persevere in asking, then submitting to Him and His will and resultant direction that He will provide in His time and in His way. This concept is borne out throughout the Scriptures repeatedly. To us, it may seem very awkward at times, but to God, it plays out exactly was He wants it to play out. Because of this, we should not lose heart or give up (Galatians 6:9). We must persevere in prayer just as we must persevere in doing good, which includes spreading the Gospel.

I guess I cannot emphasize this enough especially in the coming days. We note once again that the fearmongering is being ratcheted up, preparing us for a new pandemic complete with Joe Biden’s remarks that seem to indicate that “everyone” will need to receive the new COVID jab that he says “will work.” It’s interesting that by stating that he’s actually acknowledging that the previous jab and boosters did not work.

Now, they want us to receive three jabs this fall in preparation for the new “pandemic” that The Who and others along with the legacy media are telling us will happen. This will also likely result in a new round up masks, social distancing and even potentially lock-downs. The absurdity is obvious but in spite of the absolute lack of scientific data that does not support masks, social distancing or lock-downs, the powers that be (the powers behind the front-line politicians including the power elite and the demons who control them), are going to move ahead to ensure that society gets another dose of “pandemic” that will cause many to most to roll up their sleeves to receive the three jabs – one for the flu, one for RSV and one for the new COVID.

I cannot help but wonder how many will simply step up and accept whatever shot is mandated or recommended? In a situation like this, it is extremely important to seek God’s wisdom rather than simply submit to what authorities tell us and we need to understand that the only reason they are bringing this on is an one more attempt to control all of us.

If people will again fall in line dutifully getting the newest jabs, wearing masks, social distancing from others and even submiting to economic lock-downs again, the “great reset” will be installed. The only way to avoid this is by the bulk of society ignoring the coming mandates and not giving into the generated fear. It may not be easy, but it’s necessary to maintain our freedom.

By now, people should be aware of the fact that there have been some extremely questionable things done and said to society under the guise of our “health.” We can look back and see where they’ve actually lied to us. There’s been plenty of time to understand that masks for instance, have little to no redeeming qualities. They are far more harmful than helpful. They force people to re-breathe their exhaled CO2 and interestingly enough, wearing a mask creates a pocket in front of the mouth and nose where gasses are trapped causing the person to constantly re-breathe those gasses. This in turn, weakens the immune system and causes the person to become sickened much more easily. They don’t care though.

Masks throughout history have been a sign of subjugation and ownership. Hundreds of years ago, slave owners punished their slaves by making them wear iron masks. This eroded all sense of humanity. It also “muzzled” them so that they could not speak clearly and be heard. They also wound up inhaling the CO2 they expelled. Yet, in the 21st century we are to believe these same globalists who want to enslave the entire world want us to wear masks for our health benefit? Because we are so far removed from the 16th century and because few understand the ramifications of actual history and also because fear is still the greatest way to get people to fall in line, the majority of society will simply go along with masks and other mandates for their “health.”

The more we give in, the more they will take. Once they take it, they will never give it back. I believe digital health passports are coming and only those who have them (by being up to date on all jabs), will be allowed to participate in society. The first company that decides to try to make all people wear masks should be the first company boycotted in a major way. That company cannot survive without our money so maybe they’ll think twice when they begin to feel the financial pinch.

There’s a lot I want to highlight about the economy and how the powers that be are working overtime to ensure that the truth about CV and the jab don’t come out. It’s too late though because it’s coming out and I plan to highlight this new information proving it’s all about money and subjugation in upcoming blog articles.

Prayer is extremely important and just because we don’t “think” God hears or we wonder why is He taking so long to respond, doesn’t mean that’s true. The reality is that God does hear, He is responding in His way and in His timing and it is enough for us to trust Him. In doing so we will exercise our spiritual muscles and grow stronger in our faith. This applies to every prayer we bring before Him. We may not at times like the answer, but that too is part of our growing process.

Move ahead slowly and circumspectly as you navigate the rough and uncertain waters ahead. Do what it takes to submit yourself to Him and in due time, He will lift you up (1 Peter 5:6). It takes work on our part, but we must persevere. There really is no other option.

Great post, very well balanced. Thank you. And prayer seems to be the thing I always just put off or apologize through. Question for whoever has a tip. I find myself okay and calm and then boom some stupid news article of post will frustrate me to distraction and then I’m just more upset at myself for falling for the trap. And it’s almost always something ridiculous. What do you go when this happens? Anything help more than other things? This really isn’t complicated but it seems to be for me. 😅

I suffer from the same thing, Janna. On one hand, you want to have some idea of the enemy’s plans. On the other it can be seriously frustrating and even fearful knowing what they’re going to try.

The best way for me is to recognize what may be coming and then work to mitigate what you can for YOU.

It’s similar to preparing for a major storm or hurricane. You do what you can to secure what you can and then ride it out.

The other thing I cannot stress enough for myself is memorizing key Scripture that speaks against a lot of this like Isaiah 41:10 or Psalms 145:17-20. Repeating these calms the mind by redirecting our focus.

Lastly, decide what you will do/how you’ll react way before hand so that you won’t be making a decision on the fly when you’ve had little time to consider things.

I don’t think we can avoid fearful situations. It’s not allowing fear to control us.

Thank you!! You don’t know how much those verses have helped already since you started talking about them. It’s always the most out of my control things I get hung up on. Things you don’t understand I suppose. Thank you again. I will keep revisiting this and rereading those scriptures. And He is always faithful. This I know and have seen every day of my life regardless of the situation. So why I can’t just trust and let God he God I don’t know. Thank you Fred and thank you for your words of wisdom.

And don’t be hard on yourself. He knows our frame. I’m often my worst enemy simply bcuz I get upset with myself regarding how I react to things. It’s very annoying to see the USA being dismantled and turned into a 3rd world banana republic. It’s extremely annoying to watch what’s happening with Trump and his lawyers. It’s frustrating to see all the truth come up but dutifully ignored, censored or suppressed deliberately.

In the end there’s nothing I can do about any of that. My prayers seem to go no higher than the ceiling & indicates to me God’s path has been decided based on absolute godlessness and lawlessness of those in power.

Having said that I DO believe God will continue to guide and provide for those who are His, who purpose to submit to Him and live for Him.
