Media: Soft on Muslims

When the media is dealing with jihadist Muslims, they tread very lightly because they do not want to be marked for death themselves. This is the way it was during much of the Roman Empire, when Christians were blamed for this or that, and especially during the reign of Nero, when even though he set the fire to burn Rome, to deflect problems, he pointed to the Christians. They were unmercifully set upon, tortured and killed for something that they did not do. Had Nero pointed to Muslims (which of course did not exist at that time, but for the sake of argument, let’s say they did), they would have fought back.

An Atheist Actually DEFENDING Religion!

The one thing I believe is that though 150,000 people die daily throughout the world, God saves some. What I need to do is learn (again!) to look past the decarative statements, the defenses and the sometimes obnoxious behavior from atheists, and see the person. If I take things personally, the conversation is lost already. If it is lost, the door closes and no dialogue takes place. What is gained then?

Noah’s Ark Finally Found! NOT

Just now, we were told that it was all faked. Here is a letter from Randall Price who was on the original expedition team (thanks to Prophezine.com). One can only wonder who or why this was promoted as if the actual find, considering that if it was fake (as it appears to be), it would soon be discovered, leaving those who found it with egg on their face.

Seventh-Day Adventism Orthodox or Cult?

Christ did not appear in 1844. After this “Great Disappointment,” one “little flock” still insisted the date of their original predictions had been correct. They decided the event marked by 1844 was not the Second Coming, but the entrance of Christ into the Holy of Holies in the Heavenly Sanctuary. There, they said, He began the “Investigative Judgment.” (See #6 below.) This doctrine was received and endorsed by Ellen G. White (Ibid., p. 680).

Ex-Christians: Are They Really EX?

So the ex-Christians who firmly believe that they WERE Christians, but are no LONGER Christians are kidding themselves. They were NEVER authentic Christians and they need to be willing to admit it, instead of continuing this illogical game of ‘God existed when I WAS a Christian, but now He not only does NOT exist, but never did’ dishonesty. That is not only completely illogical, but the fact that ex-Christians actually have the temerity to think people are stupid enough to buy it simply because they say it is as ridiculous as their position.

War in the Middle East Soon?

If Israel makes a preemptive strike against Iran and successfully destroys their nuclear reactor, overruling their ability to make their own nuclear weapons, it may well be that Russia will take offense at that and use it as a reason to come against Israel, saying that what Israel has done amounts to an act of war. IF this is the case, then it could very well be that we will see the makings of Ezekiel 38 come to pass.

Rick Warren Gets in the Game!

On the heels of yesterday’s information that John Piper had invited Warren to be one of the speakers at the upcoming Desiring God Conference comes this news from Prophezine.com. Apparently, Warren has $320 million dollars that he does not know what to do with, so he is buying the pro football team, New Orleans Saints. Holy Flying Footballs, Batman!

What Do Rick Warren and John Piper Have in Common?

Whatever Piper’s thinking is, it is plain that inviting Rick Warren to speak at his conference, giving him prime time to manipulate hearers and present himself as just another misunderstood leader, is a serious mistake. Piper’s years of credibility as a trustworthy minister of Gospel truth are being undermined by this decision.
