What is Repentance Unto Salvation?

What is repentance? What is it supposed to be “feel” like if feelings play any part? What is supposed to prompt a person to do? Is repentance and “once for all” issue that happens prior to embracing salvation? Is repentance something that Christians should exercise throughout their lives?

God’s Coming Great Reset, Pt 4

Satan’s real goal is to use the cabal as a fake target that will appear to be defeated by Antichrist, who will hit a grand slam with the people of this world by overcoming the cabal. The world will see Antichrist as the “second coming of Jesus” at that point, who, with force took out the cabal. No wonder they’ll all praise Antichrist and follow him anywhere even willingly taking the “mark” to show their love for and loyalty to him.

Why Was Moses So Humble?

Moses was truly humble because there is only one time that the Scriptures highlight where Moses relied on himself to handle the situation (after he was chosen by God). Just one time and it is found in the second instance of getting water from the rock (an image of Jesus our Rock). The first instance is found in Exodus 17:1-16. There, the people are upset (what’s new?), and Moses strikes the rock after God tells him to do that and water flows from the rock. God mercifully responded to the complaints of the people.

God’s Coming Great Reset, Pt 1

In general and even with respect to many specifics, God has revealed His plans and those plans take into consideration and highlight Satan’s plans. What’s ultimately coming is not humanity’s “great reset,” but God’s Great Reset. Satan is on a leash. He’s always been on a leash. If he wasn’t, he would’ve killed Job. He’d probably kill each Christian who was fully committed to God and His will. Satan has limited power. He is not omniscient, omnipotent, or omnipresent. Satan is not God and that reality is very bristling to him, yet he has been working since his own fall to prove God wrong. This of course is the height of arrogance and his end will come soon enough.

Quick Update!

In other words, leprosy was infectious! Turns out it can travel through the air and live on surfaces for several days! Looks like God was right again for His reasoning to distance! Also note in Leviticus that lepers were to cover their top lip, which usually meant a facial covering over their mouths or lower portion of their faces. Only the “unclean” person was to cover themselves this way and social distance. This did not apply to healthy people in society.

News and Notes Update: February 1, 2021

Understand please that when I say the PreTrib Rapture, I am talking about the Lord taking His Church/Body to be with Him prior to the pouring out of His WRATH. The Bible says “day of the Lord” is the start of God pouring out His wrath onto humanity and this earth. It is not a particular “day” but a period of time; the seven year Tribulation period. The entirety of that seven years is the pouring out of God’s wrath and note, all events of the Tribulation are directed by God from His throne room as evidenced by the fact that the apostle John is called up to heaven to begin viewing those events from that vantage point (Rev 4).

So, while the Church is fully exempt from all aspects of God’s wrath, we are not exempt from tribulation (small “t”) and persecution in this life. In fact, we are promised tribulation (Matthew 10:16-42; John 15:20; 2 Timothy 3:12; see also Revelation 2:10). Persecution is promised. If you are not at all being persecuted for being a Christian, maybe your circle of friends is too small. Maybe you’re not being an effective witness for Christ. I’m not trying to make you feel guilty. I’m simply noting that you may wish to take a look at things. Are you afraid to stand up for Jesus? Are you unwilling to speak out against the things that society has said we cannot be “negative” about? I’m not saying to go looking for persecution. I’m simply saying be prepared for the fact that if you’re not suffering for it now, it may well be on the way.

Genesis 41: 7 Years of Severe Famine

Instead of petitioning God for a different result – to not send seven years of severe famine – Joseph was given insight and wisdom in knowing how to handle the severe famine. In fact, Pharaoh quickly realized that Joseph was the guy who would make the right decisions and deal with the famine in the best way possible, if they were willing to do what Joseph recommended.

Biblical View of Self-Defense

We live in a time where the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, current possibilities of economic and societal collapse, and crime have people buying guns and ammunition in large quantities for self protection. What does the Bible say about that? What does the Bible say about so-called “assault weapons”?

As always, we want our hearts and minds to be ruled and informed by Scripture–not by our emotions, not by our experiences, and certainly not by the World. And because the Scriptures have much to say about this topic, it is relevant and worth examining in the Church.

News and Notes Update: Dec 7, 2020

During WWII, my wife’s grandparents were fairly well to do living in Austria. Because of the war, the military came in and took over their home and kicked them out. What could they do? They were outgunned. They had to leave and ultimately lived in a camp for displaced citizens for 10 years before they were allowed to come to the USA and only after guaranteeing that they would not be a burden on the government. The Roman Catholic church sponsored them, brought them over and helped the men get jobs. Her parents actually met and married in that camp.
