Bible Warns of Apostasy and Persecution, Part 2
Aside from mockers who come mocking the idea of Jesus as God returning to claim what is His, there is also the general tone of society that will exist during the end times and we will see it worsen as things lead directly up to the physical return of Jesus at the end of the coming Tribulation period. One thing to remember is that the Bible is a complete book. It must be allowed to interpret itself because even though there are roughly 40 human authors, physically writing their own book within a book over a period of approximately 1,600 or so years, the reality is that God is the main Author. He chose individuals to write down parts of His book, but it was God Himself who oversaw the writing of each book. The Bible is the only book that can claim this. No other comes close.
Portraits of Fellowship, Part 5: Moses
Folks, it is very difficult at times to “see” through the darkness into the future to the point where God actually provides an answer to the situation we are undergoing. We are often surrounded by circumstances that God is using for our growth and His glory. Satan wants those very same circumstances to weaken our faith and destroy our fellowship. We need to be like Moses, not Israelites. We need to trust God in spite of what we cannot see. That is not only how we enter into fellowship with Him but it is how we remain in fellowship with Him.

Portraits of Fellowship, Part 4: Moses
Moses focused on God for His solution. Isn’t this what God tells us in Psalm 55:22? God echoes the same sentiment in 1 Peter 5:7, when he tells us to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Moses knew that casting his cares and concerns on the Lord would yield good results. Relying on himself would yield nothing good at all and and to react in a way that evidenced a failure to trust God would be sin.
Portraits of Fellowship, Part 3: Moses
Isn’t it wonderful to know that God uses ordinary people like Moses for His glory and their growth? In this particular case, in spite of his fear, Moses did everything correctly. He did not take out any fear he might have felt on the Israelites. Instead of becoming angry back at them for their lack of faith, he pleaded with them to trust the Lord. They felt overwhelmed and Moses could have felt the same way. Instead, he did what all of the Israelites should have done; trusted the Lord. As my pastor said in delivering his sermon on aspects of Moses’ life, Moses took the high road in spite of any fears he may have felt. He trusted God and God overcame in and through him.
Not All Jews Believe in Any God
Fellow Christian, it is not going to get easier. It is going to become more difficult. Life will separate immature, carnal Christians from those who take fellowship with God seriously. If you are not walking in fellowship with God, you are not being empowered to stand against the evil that is becoming openly prevalent today. Without being in fellowship with God, you will see people as “enemies” instead of as people who need the only salvation that is available today, in Jesus. They are not our enemies. They are enemies of the cross, but even so, our job is to present to them the gospel that saves.

Laodicean Church Falls Hard After 30 Years…
It does not take long for any religious establishment to slide off its original, biblical foundation (if it started there), if people are not careful. The same of course, is true of individual Christians. It doesn’t take much to slide away and end up at a point where fellowship with God, even though that person is saved, has come to nothing. You wake up one day and realize (if God has mercy on you) that Jesus – the Author of your salvation – is standing on the outside of your heart, knocking to enter so that you and He can once again enjoy the fellowship that you once did.
Ecclesiastes and Vanity of Life, Part 11
But notice also that for the “sinner,” (the unregenerate person), these folks spend their days climbing the corporate ladder, chasing one dream or goal after another, in the hopes of gaining as much money as possible. They believe that in their amassed wealth, they will find peace. Rarely is that the case though. How many people who were rich, famous, or both were simply miserable? They could never get enough and in the end, they realized they’d spent their entire life chasing after things that ultimately, would be given to someone else who never earned it or put in the effort to amass it. Talk about irony and unfulfilled dreams.

All You Need to Know About Conspiracy Theories, Part 7
When we speak of God’s sovereignty, we are referring to the fact that ultimately, all things work together to bring God glory. In other words, though things seem out of control in many ways now, we know that this cannot be what is actual. God is allowing discontent to build up in the world. He is allowing circumstances to develop so that a one-world governmental system will come into existence. He is allowing things to occur that will one day bring the “man of sin” to the point of ruling the entire worlIn short, God is giving Satan as much leash (and he is remains on a leash) as needed in order for Satan to attempt to bring his promises of Isaiah 14 to fruition.

All You Need to Know About Conspiracy Theories, Part 6
The point is that from the beginning of the Babylonian Empire, to the Medo-Persian, to the Grecian, to the Roman through to the resurrection of the revised Roman Empire, God has allowed all of these empires to control Israel because He has had things to teach the Israelites. The fact that the world will become a one-world system of global governance ruled by the “man of sin” (2 Thessalonians 2) is also going to occur for the purpose of gathering the final remnant of Israel to Him. He will use the hatred of Satan and the hand of the Antichrist to draw true Jews to Him. These true Jews will realize their need for a Savior and understand that that Savior is found in Jesus. He clearly states this in Matthew 23:39.

All is Vanity Including Politics
In so many ways, all people on earth are biding their time. Though most are not aware of it, we wait for the next life and those who have trusted Christ as Savior will learn what life was truly meant to be before the Fall occurred. We will – at that point – have our sin natures permanently removed from us so that there will never even the potential of even considering the “merits” of temptation so that we again fall. It won’t happen.
