O’Reilly: the Bible is Not Welcome in Public Debate

I’m not saying that people like O’Reilly cannot have their opinions and I’m certainly not saying that people cannot share those opinions. What I’m saying is that it would be nice if, after making sweeping generalizations as O’Reilly too often does, he would not attack those who disagree with him, as he did with Laura Ingraham recently. Of course, not long after that, he sought solace with another guest, who happened to back him up; Charles Krauthammer, who said he was “right” to use the term “Bible-thumper.”

White Liberals Are the Worst Racists

What is truly amazing is that Carson – like Allen West, Sen. Ted Cruz, and other conservative blacks or persons of color – is himself black and yet, when those on the Left (both white and black), disagree with Carson, they have no problem calling him out. They seem to enjoy verbally castigating him because he is not only conservative, but black as well. Apparently, there is an unwritten law that frowns upon minorities having conservative values. It’s called political correctness.

A Pagan Says Abortion is Not in the Bible

Gus tells us that this section of Scripture is not talking about abortion. I agree with him. It’s talking about something else and is pretty clear. If there is some sort of physical assault of a women who is pregnant and the woman gives birth prematurely, depending upon whether or not the baby is born with injuries will determine what type of punishment (if any) is to be meted out on the individual who struck the woman, causing her to give birth.

Politically Correct Pecking Order

To hear some tell it, a girl who drinks too much and passes out is “asking for it.” I’m referring to the rape case that occurred in the town of Steubenville, OH, in which two star athletes were put on trial and found guilty of rape. As expected, there are mixed reactions to the story.
