Cow Born with 7 on Forehead…What CAN It Mean?!
This idea that God needed to have a cow with a “7” on its forehead born into the world so that individuals like Jim Bakker, Jonathan Cahn, and others can have a field day “interpreting” the “signs” for us is patently absurd! God’s Word speaks for itself and all that is required is study, prayer, and a relationship with the Author.

But also consider this. People who are not ready for an event they have been told about are also “caught off-guard,” which is simply another way of saying that the event comes like a thief in the night. People may be aware of a specific event upcoming. They may know that it is coming, but they allow themselves to become preoccupied with other things and the event they were looking for gets put on the back burner of their mind. They start to focus on other things and lose sight of the importance of maintaining their focus on that one, upcoming, special event.
Time in Which We Live…is it the Tribulation?
Are we in the Tribulation? Not according to my understanding of the Bible, we’re not. If I understand rightly, things are going to get much worse for Israel and the world! Persecution of Christians will also rise. Count on it! But God, in His grace, mercy, and love for all of those who have faith in Him will not give us more than we can handle. He loves us. He cares deeply for us. He knows our weaknesses and our strengths.

What is the Coming Tribulation All About, Part 19
n both cases – the passage from Revelation and the one from Mark, Jesus notes that the people of the house (of Israel) do not know when the master will return and because of that, they should stay awake and prepared. There are many today – mostly in the Preterists and Reformed/Covenant camps who believe that Jesus already returned spiritually in AD 70 when God judged the nation of Israel by causing Roman armies to destroy Jerusalem and the Temple. The problem with this interpretation is that it is simply not Scriptural. Jesus said when He returns, every eye would see Him (Matthew 24), and in Acts 1, the disciples are told (after Jesus is taken up to the clouds physically) that this Jesus would return the very same way, meaning in the clouds and physically.

What is the Coming Tribulation All About, Part 18
This is why books like Revelation are confusing to people. Many do not see the connections from Revelation to Daniel, Ezekiel, or other books of the Bible. We fail to understand that God wrote the entire Bible using roughly 40 human authors over a period of roughly 1,600 to 2,000 years to do it. Yet, it was God who oversaw its writings. It is best to see God’s Word in those terms because it allows us to avoid a great many mistakes.

This is massive. The contents of the second bowl of God’s wrath is poured out into the sea and the sea became blood. Because of that, everything in the sea that was alive died. There are no living creatures left because of this bowl of God’s wrath! Imagine the stench. Imagine that any desalinization systems that turned sea water into potable water would no longer work! Imagine what that would do to the world and its population.

This beast of course, is the Antichrist, who is completely indwelt by Satan himself. Not only does the Antichrist kill these Two Witnesses, but prohibits anyone from burying them. He wants their dead bodies to remain in the streets for three and a half days. I find verse 10 very interesting. The people are so happy about the deaths of these Two Witnesses that they have a worldwide celebration even sending gifts to one another. Obviously, most people did not heed the message at all in spite of the terrible things that the Two Witnesses brought upon the earth. The people were simply very glad they were finally gone.

After reading this section of Scripture, it is fairly easy to understand these 200 million as being of supernatural origin. John is not describing human beings here, is he? He is describing creatures that carry riders. These creatures have heads like lions instead of heads like horses. These lions are able to shoot fire, smoke, and brimstone. They almost sound like dragons. The “horses” not only have power in their mouths, but in their tails as well. Their tails are like snakes including heads. These creatures have the ability to kill what is in front of them as well as what is behind them.
Can Christians Have Assurance of Salvation?
With respect to assurance of salvation, there are essentially two main groups. First, there is the group (of which I am part) that says salvation is eternal. Once God grants it, He will never take it back. Second, there is the group that does not believe the Bible teaches eternal salvation as such. They believe that salvation can be lost if the Christian does not stay on the proper path.
Point of Clarification Regarding the Rapture and Tribulation
The one thing I think all of us Christians lack (and that includes me) is a more prominent display of authentic humility (to God) in our lives. No one living today is Jesus Christ even though there are at least five people alive right now who claim to be Him. No one has His understanding. No one has His wisdom. No one has His sinless nature. We must endeavor to adopt a true spirit of humility (that only God can provide) so that disagreements over doctrine do not become points of contention and knock-down, drag-outs.
