Revelation 16: Bowls of Wrath
These seven bowl judgments of God are symbols of His power and justice. He is demonstrating that He is in control of all things. He is a just and righteous God and will not allow those who reject Him to go unpunished. God is love, but He is also a righteous judge who will ultimately bring justice to those who oppose Him. In the end, we must all stand before God and give an account of our actions. May we all seek to live our lives in a way that honors and pleases Him.
Revelation 15: Beginning of the End
Before unleashing the final seven of twenty-one total judgments (Revelation 16), during the coming Tribulation period, John the apostle sees numerous things happening in heaven in preparation. John sees the temple in heaven, the sea of glass (see also Revelation 4:6), and the seven angels with seven bowl plagues appearing with them (after one of the 4 Living Creatures gives the angels their bowls).

Blood-Red Lake in Texas
All science has done is explain to us how what is described in Revelation 16 could happen naturally. It may well be that God will use completely natural means to accomplish His judgments. The fact that science can tell us how the water turns to blood does not negate God’s involvement in the entire process. Without realizing it, science has simply – once again – established the validity of Scripture because the things we read about in Revelation (and elsewhere) are not only plausible, but actual.
