Election Day and God’s Purposes Still Move Forward

The Bible says that “except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:22). This doesn’t mean that the upcoming specific period of time is shortened so much that it means that it has a predefined specific amount of time to it when that time is up, He returns. If God simply let things go on and on, no one would survive. He would have nothing to come back to but thankfully, that will not happen. They will be seen as the problem that keeps the state from becoming even greater. As such, the options will be limited. Change or die. Those who worship the one, true God in Jesus, will in no way separate themselves from their loyalty and allegiance to Him. Thus, their end is assured.
