The Left Has Its Share of Death Wishes Too…For Conservatives

In an excellent article by Rich Noyes for Media Research Center, he throws back the curtain on the not-so-innocent members of the liberal left, who have had plenty to say in the past few years about wishing people were dead, from members of Congress, to President Bush, to Rush Limbaugh. However, since this tragedy in Arizona, the spotlight has only been thrown on conservatives.
Just a few examples are: “The network’s 8pm ET host Keith Olbermann in 2009 referred to columnist Michelle Malkin as “a big mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it.” Hardball’s Chris Matthews fantasized about the death of Rush Limbaugh: “Somebody’s going to jam a CO2 pellet into his head and he’s going to explode like a giant blimp.” [1]
Do we need to mention Death of a President, a film about George Bush? Apparently, film as art, is protected by the 1st Amendment. It’s these same individuals who cling to the 1st Amendment who tell the rest of the world that the 2nd Amendment should be eliminated.
Do we need to remind ourselves about Ed Schultz? How about Mike Malloy? Montel Williams? Should we delve into the past of Bill Maher to see how he rates? Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews and too many others to list here have all thrown their hats into the ring, with vitriolic verbiage that has done nothing except stoke the fires of indecency. Yet, these folks get free passes from the media? Why? Simply because the media is run by liberal elitists and they hate conservatives and conservatism. Socialism is more to their liking.
