Pope Francis: a Jesuit

With all the normal pomp and circumstance that is connected to the Roman Catholic Church and the installation of its newest pope, many may not be aware of just exactly what this new pope stands for, as a Jesuit.  It’s probably a good time to peel back the curtain.

One pastor – Terry Long, of a Calvary Chapel – responded to the news of a new pope by offering a prayer for him:

We have a new pope.  Let’s pray that God uses him for the gospel of Jesus. I pray that he lives out what his name sake was all about, St. Francis of Assisi. This is his most famous prayer, one that we can all take to heart.

“O Lord, make me an instrument of Thy Peace!
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is discord, harmony.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sorrow, joy.

“Oh Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

We pray that this pope shows the love of Jesus to the world.”

Yes, the world sees a new pope, but he is not my pope.  I do not see the man as a mouthpiece for God when he sits ex cathedra (literally, “from the chair”) and gives instruction or teaching, nor do I see him as having any kind of authority over me.

When the pope speaks from his chair, he is believed to be speaking the very words of God.  His words then, are inspired as the Bible is inspired.  The Bible tells us that “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness...” (2 Timothy 3:16 NASB).  The word “inspired” there literally means “God-breathed.”  It is not how we generally use the word “inspired” today, which simply often means stemming from a great idea.  In essence then, the Bible is still being written today from a Catholic perspective.

Catholics believe (generally speaking) that salvation is certainly by grace, but it is also maintained by works.  A person who dies (again, generally speaking) as a Roman Catholic goes to Purgatory where that persons unabsolved sins are “worked” off.  This is done by the prayers of those remaining on earth and by their donations to the church (modern-day indulgences).

Salvation within Roman Catholicism is obviously not the same as salvation within Protestantism.  I wonder how a person who becomes a pope can actually be saved, frankly?  They have sworn allegiance to all of the tenets of Roman Catholicism, whereas the average Roman Catholic church-goer is hardly aware of any of them.  This is why I believe it is very possible for the average Roman Catholic to become truly saved based on what they do not know.

But now, with Pope Francis, we have a Jesuit installed as Pope.  Jesuits are essentially the military religious branch of Roman Catholicism. [1]  Once a lower Jesuit is given any type of authority, there is a very official ceremony that takes place, involving daggers, black crucifixes, skulls, promises to root out heresy, and a declaration of complete loyalty to the pope.

What is even more fascinating is that Jesuits promise to essentially become spies for the pope against all heretical orders, including all Reformers, which represents virtually all Protestant denominations.  Here is part of what the newly elevated Jesuit must promise to do:

…you have been taught to act the dissembler: among Roman Catholics to be a Roman Catholic, and to be a spy even among your own brethren; to believe no man, to trust no man. Among the Reformers, to be a reformer; among the Huguenots, to be a Huguenot; among the Calvinists, to be a Calvinist; among other Protestants, generally to be a Protestant, and obtaining their confidence, to seek even to preach from their pulpits, and to denounce with all the vehemence in your nature our Holy Religion and the Pope; and even to descend so low as to become a Jew among Jews, that you might be enabled to gather together all information for the benefit of your Order as a faithful soldier of the Pope…

“You have been taught your duty as a spy, to gather all statistics, facts and information in your power from every source; to ingratiate yourself into the confidence of the family circle of Protestants and heretics of every class and character, as well as that of the merchant, the banker, the lawyer, among the schools and universities, in parliaments and legislatures, and the judiciaries and councils of state, and to be all things to all men, for the Pope’s sake, whose servants we are unto death. [2; emphasis added]

Ultimately, a Jesuit promises to do all of the above and that means not only spying, but creating situations that work in favor of the Roman Catholic Church.  The Jesuit believes himself to be a faithful agent for the pope and for the Roman Catholic Church, believing it to be the only vessel of truth for the world.

The world has a new pope who comes to the fore with a Jesuit background.  What could be in store for the world?  Well, I think we will see a pope who presents one side of himself to the world; a pope that is considered to be “humble,” and full of love for people.  However, underneath, the workings of a devout Jesuit will continue.

Part of the oath that a Jesuit takes includes these promises:

I furthermore promise and declare that I will, when opportunity present, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition; and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics, rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants’ heads against the walls, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poisoned cup, the strangulating cord, the steel of the poniard or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity, or authority of the person or persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or Superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith, of the Society of Jesus.” [3; emphasis added]

If all of the above is true, then it would appear that anything the Roman Catholic Church does outwardly that tends to show an inclusive side with other religions is done for show.  Obviously, Jesuits do not believe that there is any truth outside of Roman Catholicism and it remains their goal to bring everyone into the fold of Catholicism in the end.

Some might say, “Oh come on!  Obviously, that is not what Jesuits stand for in today’s world!”  When did it change then?

The system of Babylon is alive and well now (and has been since Genesis 11), and will certainly exist during the coming Tribulation as a political-religious system that absorbs people, directing them to worshiping the Beast.  It will exist until it is no longer needed and will then be destroyed.

If you take the time to study just this brief information I have provided about the Jesuits and how they have worked since their inception to make it so that, in the end, only Roman Catholicism stands, we see a type of Cultural Marxism like the United States is now experiencing.  The damage is being done beneath the surface.  It’s all subterfuge; smoke and mirrors, presenting itself as one thing when it is really the exact opposite.  Few can see it because that is not what is presented.

Let me refer you again to the second quote from the top of this article and specifically with the bolded text.  There, you’ll see quite clearly the duplicitous nature of the Jesuits as they have promised to infiltrate every area of society (bankers, lawyers, educators, politicians), even gaining access to pulpits in Protestant churches.  The idea is to promote change from within under the cover of what outwardly appears to be truth.  This is the definition of Cultural Marxism and it has been happening for many decades in America.

Also, to take the name of Francis of Assisi is like saying I’m a wolf in sheep’s clothing! That long ago Francis was condemned by Rome and almost all the order was to be destroyed. I really respected the movement that Francis of Assisi founded. However he would turn over in his grave so to speak if he knew what had become of the order in the years of the second world war and even today it’s been watered down.

When I heard that he was a Jesuit I got goosebumps up my back!
Jesuits are everything you quoted and more! The Roman Church’s high intellectuals and most of them are high masons, infiltrators in every area of education, religion, business and politics.I have met some of them in person. The rest I read in “50 Years In The Church Of Rome” not to forget Jack Chicks booklets.I don’t know if it has been proven but Adam Weishaupt ,the founder of the Illuminati, was a Jesuit. I will also say again that there was a prophesy by an Irish priest that this last pope would leave office soon after becoming pope and the one following him would be the last pope.

Interesting stuff, Lester. Thanks for the heads up on the book “50 Years in the Church of Rome,” which I’ve just ordered from Amazon. I’ll be interested in checking it out.
