Disclosure Day

I’ve been reading up on this particular movie that is actually released today, June 12th, and thought I’d add my two or three cents to the equation. For those unaware, Disclosure Day is the latest Steven Spielberg, from a screenplay by David Koepp, based on a story by Spielberg. With this newest science fiction movie from Spielberg, the stakes appear to be higher. Here’s a bit of a synopsis (provided by AI):
Disclosure Day is a 2026 science fiction thriller directed by Steven Spielberg that follows two strangers whose lives intersect during a global crisis. Cybersecurity specialist Daniel Kellner (Josh O’Connor) steals classified files and an alien device from the shadowy Wardex Corporation, exposing a nearly 80-year government cover-up of extraterrestrial visitation. Simultaneously, Kansas City meteorologist Margaret Fairchild (Emily Blunt) develops psychic abilities after an encounter with a cardinal, allowing her to speak alien languages and read minds.
My wife and I watched the two official trailers last night and quite frankly, what I saw immediately screamed “Lame!” in my mind. I can already see where they are trying to go with this movie. Is it more of a psyop than an actual movie? Could be.
When Emily Blunt’s character (Margaret Fairchild), is taken over by an alien entity, she is just starting her weather segment. All of a sudden, she falters, looks helpless, then starts clicking and making vibrations in her throat while staring somewhat blankly into the camera that’s recording her meteorology segment. In real life, producers would have immediately switched to something else (kind of like when an athlete tends to give too much glory to Jesus), but the focus remains on Blunt.
What happened with Fairchild? Is the underlying message here that aliens have been among us for decades (if not longer), and what we’ve been calling “possession” by demons is actually (according to the movie), a take over by an alien entity trying to communicate with earthlings? One question I have is if they are so advanced, why don’t they speak using English or some other language known to humanity? Instead, they speak in clicks and vibrations?? How does this help anyone with whom they allegedly seek to communicate?
Oh wait, Cybersecurity specialist Daniel Kellner (portrayed by Josh O’Connor), might know and understand the language. He spent years behind the scenes responsible for gathering and cataloging highly technical and top secret information about aliens that only the government knows. He may have learned their language as well.
Daniel finally gets to a point where he’s had enough of the government lies and secrecy. He decides humanity needs to know about aliens that either have visited earth or have lived here unbeknownst to humanity for many decades. So, he steals the classified files as well as an alien device/artifact and he plans to release all the information. Of course, he is chased by government officials who warn that society is not ready to hear about aliens because it will apparently shake society to its very core (dark musical overtones here).
As an aside, it amazes me how the government believes it must protect people from reality. They’re fine covering things up even though the coverups usually give rise to what are then called conspiracy theories. Then the government or their lackeys attack the conspiracy theorists. Few people today have faith in our government anymore. Maybe that’s why this movie is coming out. Maybe it’s all being done to reveal reality to society.
Interestingly, we learn that Fairchild and Kellner were abducted by aliens as children and given alien powers. Oh, and we need to remember that this movie takes place just as WWIII is starting to develop in the world, so fear is clearly ramping up over that. (Gee, sound familiar?)
The plan Kellner and Fairchild come up with is to break into a TV station and broadcast the alien files to the world so that everyone will learn the truth. The climax of the movie results in the de-escalation of WWIII and a new understanding between humanity and aliens. Whew, close call!
It seems that certain groups or people are trying way too hard to make us think actual highly advanced alien beings live among us and have for many many decades. The time up to now has not apparently been ripe for the big reveal, but can human society handle it now? Will people’s lack of faith in the government actually be restored and this planet can then move to its next “spiritual” plane?
But also notice that there are now warnings out there specifically geared toward Christians that the coming potential reveal of alien lifeforms who are far more advanced than human beings is likely going to shake the faith of believers everywhere.[1][2][3] According to Perry Stone:
You’re going to have people who are going to say if there are galaxies and there are allegedly other creations in the galaxies, then the whole creation story is a myth, and you’re going to have people that’s going to apostatise (sic) and turn from the Christian faith because they have no answer for what they’re about to hear…
The pastors who attended this meeting were essentially told that the alien reveal is coming and it is “real.” These pastors were warned to prepare their congregations. I have to wonder why people in churches would need to be warned, unless of course, they think that aliens are actual aliens and not demons? Who are these people? Certainly, they are unbelievers outside the visible Church, but some could also be part of the visible Church. This could easily tie into 2 Thessalonians 2:11, which tells us that God Himself sends a delusion so that people believe the lie presented.
Inside but especially outside the visible Church, consider the New Age Movement, which resolutely believes in alien lifeforms and their desire to help humanity advance to the next spiritual plane. Will believers who are thoroughly grounded in God’s Word be taken in? I doubt it, but I can see many within the visible Church becoming alarmed and start to think that “now it all makes sense!” We only need to consider what passes for biblical truth within the visible Church today to know that in many churches, things are way off.
I’ve written about this numerous times in the past and have two books available on the subject: Demons in Disguise and Nephilim Nightmare. In these books, I discuss how demons go out of their way to pose as something they are not in order to deceive human beings. That’s the goal and always has been.
I believe the idea that alien beings would cause sincere and devout Christians to apostatize is ridiculous unless they are clueless as to the real origin of the alien beings and actually believe these yet-to-be revealed entities are, in fact, literal alien beings. If people accept these possibly soon-to-be revealed beings as what they present themselves to be (not what they actually are), then deception follows. It’s very much like Eve when she dealt with the serpent without realizing she was actually dealing with Satan himself.
The Bible tells us “…the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.” (Genesis 3:1). I believe there are two reasons Satan clothed himself with the serpent’s body. First, the serpent was by far the most crafty of all animals God had made. This word in the Hebrew means wise and does not contain a hint of evil in it (at that point prior to the fall). Today, the word crafty or cunning has taken on a different connotation that makes people often think of someone who is sneaky or underhanded; a con man/woman. Second, by using the serpent’s body and mouth, Eve would simply think she was talking to an animal with which she was familiar. Hence, no alarm bells.
Satan used the serpent and spoke through it, just as demons can do. Satan likely spoke through the serpent, using the serpent’s form to not cause any concern from Eve. Since Adam and Eve were both already familiar with the serpent who was part of the garden, they did not fear the serpent.
However, had Satan shown himself to Eve and started talking with her, she might have at least questioned things or become alarmed, since there had been no other human-like beings beside her and Adam. Satan took advantage of the presence of the serpent, using the serpent as a costume to accomplish the fall of Eve and Adam.
But with the movie Disclosure Day, are we ultimately being presented with an alternative understanding of demonic possession? Instead of demons seeking to take over human beings for their purposes, has it just been alien entities taking over people in order to get their message to society out? After all, don’t they just want to help? I still find it ironic that alleged beings of such high levels cannot present to humanity and are at the restriction of governments.
But are we finally moving to a point of reveal in our own history, that will cause these aliens to let us know without equivocation that they not only exist, but are here and waiting to make an entrance, all to offer their help in our spiritual growth? I can imagine if these beings represent themselves as alien beings, far more advanced than our own global society, many to most in the world will follow them without question. Makes you wonder about the actual charisma of the coming Antichrist.
I think it’s reasonable to conclude that there needs to be some major catalyst in the world that will emphasize the perceived need for those other worldly beings to reveal themselves. What could the catalyst be? In the movie, it’s WWIII on the verge. Right now, USA is at war with Iran, though we are told that an agreement has been reached. Iran denies it. We shall see. Would another world war create the perfect scenario for aliens to reveal themselves or the government to reveal it to us?
If we step back and look at the larger picture with many nations involved in another world war, that creates a good deal of fear in people. There will not only be death, but shortages (food, fuel, medicine, etc.). Such a global conflict will create fear and dread in many to most. In the movie, it appears that while the world is initially moving toward a cataclysmic world war three, after the alien beings reveal themselves, WWIII is called off and an “understanding” between humans and aliens occurs.
Here’s another scenario that could well be part of this upcoming reveal (if it actually occurs). If multiple millions of people are suddenly removed from this planet out of the blue without warning, what might the result of that be? Fear. Concern. People would want to know exactly what happened and will it happen again? Where did the people go? Why did they simply vanish? No bodies, no remains. They are all just gone. What happened?
In such a scenario, people would rightly ask questions. It would take real leaders to point out a few facts. Fact number one: the people who were taken were all generally of the same religious mindset, interestingly. The world refers to them as bigots, misogynists, phobics, cultists, right-wingers, etc., etc. When it all boils down to it, all of the people that are missing fall into one category. They are true believers in Jesus. However, the world sees these believers as brainwashed, haters and stunted.
Once the world is told to focus on the type of person who is no longer here and can be shown that it was only those folks who are no longer here, people may begin to relax. Leaders of the world (and quite possibly standing alongside other world beings [aka aliens]), in support of their conclusions, will help alleviate the fears of the remaining populace. They will be told that the people that are no longer here were actually taken out of this world by alien spaceships and moved to other planets. The world should not mourn for them because they have been taken “home” (on a different planet), where they can evolve at their own pace, but no longer hold back this planet and society from evolving to the next spiritual plane. The world is finally free to grow without fetters!
What happens as a result of Spielberg’s newest movie remains to be seen. It may simply be a good amount of hype that leads to nothing. It does not look even close to the type of quality science fiction of his previous films, but maybe that’s the point too. Maybe he’s actually trying to make it look more like a documentary than a science fiction fantasy movie about aliens. From what I understand, the movie is simply another lead up to an actual reveal that is supposed to occur, presented by our government. We shall see what we shall see.
