Jesus Christ IS God…
He’s NOT a swear word!
My wife and I were returning home from a trip and passed a semi with the message “Jesus Christ is Lord. Not a swear word” on the side of the trailer in huge lettering.
Norway’s Black Metal Group Taake Says Down with Muhammad
This band from Norway recently received a nomination for what is similar to a Grammy in America. Their latest album from 2011 titled Noregs Vaapen contains a song called Orkan. In it, lyrics essentially say that Muhammad can go to the netherworld and take Muslims with him.
To be fair, Taake (pronounced Toke with a long “o” sound and silent “e”) doesn’t like religion period. They are against anything that they believe stifles free speech. To them, both Christianity and Islam somehow do that, so they disagree with both.
Is the Federal Government STEALING Food Supplies?
I have read a number of reports of late where FBI, as well as other law enforcement agencies, have been involved in attempting (or succeeding) in simply taking food supplies. This may sound extremely weird or “out there” to many, but if any of the reports on the ‘Net offer any truth at all, then it would appear as though the Feds are interested in taking food that farmers produce.
Ominous Black Friday and the December 21, 2012 Event
They call it “Black Friday”, and it has a varied history. Some say the origin of the name comes from the Philadelphia Police Department’s uncomplimentary appraisal of the first day of the Christmas shopping season back in 1966. In recent years it refers to that busy Friday after Thanksgiving that puts retailers “in the black”.
Each year it seems the day is punctuated with incidents of trampling, fights, robberies, shootings and all sorts of anti-social behavior. Seems that “peace on earth” thing we like to sing about just can’t seem to make it to the retail level.
It is both sad and shocking that the official American day of Thanksgiving to God has become the eve of what is arguably the year’s most illustrative day of thanklessness and greed. More important than its origin, and even more important than its economic impact is its crystal clear portrayal of the greed and violence that can be so quickly and easily launched from the depths of the human heart. Not a pretty sight to behold.

It’s a Great Day in South Carolina
Rep. John King (D) has a burr under his saddle and it has to do with the greeting that the Republican Govenor of South Carolina wants all state employees to say. Apparently, because of high unemployment and a number of other things, it’s not really a great day in South Carolina, according to John King, so why act like it is, right?
When the news reporter asked Mr. King what people should say when they answered the phone, he responded with “Hello. How may I help you?” Wow, that’s nice, isn’t it? Normally though, in government departments – at least the ones I’ve done business with (though I cannot speak for South Carolina) – I usually get a response like this when I call and someone picks up the phone: “Merchandising Department, this is Pam,” or “Department of Motor Vehicles,” or “You’ve reached the _________ department. I’m either on the phone or away from my desk. Please leave a message including your first AND last name (and please spell your name), your telephone number (please say that twice), and a short message. Please speak slowly and clearly and we will get back with you just as soon as we can.”
And Yet Another Reason to NOT Buy Butterball Turkeys…
This is sad. In fact, it’s tragic. No animal should be treated in such an inhumane way.
I’ve written before about how Butterball decided to change the way they process their turkeys and without telling anyone, opted to put all of their turkeys through the halal-compliant process. Among other things, this includes a special ceremony in which the Muslim cleric (Imam) prays to Allah, facing Mecca.
At any rate, there is now another reason to not buy Butterball turkeys. It has to do with the way the turkeys are allegedly treated by the workers at the turkey plant. The more you see of this type of abuse and cruelty, the more you want to go vegetarian…
Prophecy in the News Article by Gary Stearman
Gary Stearman is a joy to listen to on TV as much as he is a joy to read. He would probably hate being called a “wordsmith,” but that’s what he is and what I appreciate most regarding his articles or his ability at interviewing is how his words just carry you along. It’s almost effortless.
The latest issue of Prophecy in the News magazine arrived and on the cover was the title “The Year of Fear is Here!” with a large “2012” as well. Obviously, this is going to be an interesting year for everyone because of the Mayan so-called prophecies.
