Why Do We Tend to Automatically Believe Beings from Other Dimensions? Pt 1

To simply believe that all entities in other dimensions are filled with integrity is to believe that all people in this realm are also all filled with integrity. It doesn’t work like that. But here’s the biggest problem. Unless you are woken up to the possibility that at least some of these spiritual entities are not concerned about you and want to rob you of the opportunity to receive salvation, you will likely continue to believe that they are all good and want nothing but the best for you. Not only is there no proof for that belief, but you cannot even prove it to yourself! In spite of that, you choose to believe about these spiritual entities what you would never believe about another human being!

Pastor Jim Staley of Passion for Truth Ministries Indicted

My point is that people who play fast and loose with God’s Word end up going off the main path and into their own little wilderness. Because there seems to be something unique, yet spiritual about that person and their beliefs, they wind up attracting others to them. People get excited because it seems to them that God is doing “something new.” This happened a lot when I was involved in the Charismatic Movement of the 1970s. God was always doing something new. There was always a new way to understand God’s Word, a new way that God was “speaking,” or a new way that God was revealing Himself to people. It all boiled down to “signs and wonders” and the side-show that used to be church.

Jonathan Cahn and the Hebrew Roots Movement

But this is also why Jonathan Cahn’s books are doing so well and I have neglected to mention this previously. Cahn tugs at the heart strings of Christians who want to identify with Judaism because Jesus was/is Jewish. Who among us would not want to go back to the time of Jesus and follow Him around, adoringly receiving everything He said and did? We would want to be like Him, right? But what many forget is that Judaism was the first phase in God’s plan and the festivals, the law, etc., were fulfilled by Jesus. This does not mean that since Jesus obeyed the law to the nth degree, Christians don’t have to do so. On the contrary, Christians are obligated to obey every aspect of God’s moral law. However, it is clear from Scripture that Christians are not obligated to observe Jewish festivals!

True Meaning of Sabbatical Year Cycles from the Old Testament

America will fall one day, but it won’t fall because of some imagined connection with Israel and the “Sabbatical Year” cycle or “Shemitah.” America will fall because of her failure to support Israel! When Jesus returns to this earth, God will judge the nations. It’s called the “Sheep and the Goats Judgment” and is found in Matthew 25:31-46. There, each nation is judged based on how they treated Israel (especially during the coming Tribulation). This particular judgment occurs after the Tribulation and after Jesus returns to this planet physically. It won’t happen this September!

Was Shemitah Ever Associated with Bad Omens in the Bible?

It is clear then that God took the Sabbatical Year seriously…for the nation of Israel. If we are going to say that America is part of that (which it is not), then we would have to agree that since the founding of this nation, at the end of every 7th year, all debts should have been forgiven, the land was to lie fallow, and creditors would essentially do a “reset.” It has not been that way at all, yet Jonathan Cahn has come along to try to make us believe that whether we knew it or not, America was in “covenant” with God right from the beginning.

I Guess Something is Going to Happen in September…or Something

It all involves what is known as the Shemitah (pronounced shmee-tah) and it has been brought to the fore by Jonathan Cahn. He wrote “The Harbinger” and the follow-up book, “Shemitah.” In this latest book, Cahn points out that the Shemitah happens every seven years on the Jewish calendar. What that means is that every seven years, fields lie fallow, debts are forgiven, etc., and essentially, there is a big reset. Again, this was something that was given to the nation of Israel only and was also referred to as the Sabbatical Year. There are references to this in Exodus 23:10–11, Leviticus 25:1–7, Deuteronomy 15:1–6, Jeremiah 34:13–14, along with many others.

Prophecies of Daniel 11, Part 4

With the efforts of Antiochus III the Great, he was able to push Egypt’s borders back below Israel or at least to the southern border of Israel from Syria. He fought against Ptolemy IV at this point in time. What is of course, fascinating is that the angelic messenger has been laying the groundwork to reveal specifics about the Holy Land to Daniel. All of this information is leading up to and including what would eventually befall Israel/Jerusalem and Daniel’s people, the Jews. Because God saw fit to provide Daniel with so much information that was extremely specific, we literally see the very rungs of the ladder that take us up to the events that impacted Israel. I hope you find that as amazing as I do.

Revival: Is It Coming to America?

Instead of considering these things though, we want something different. We want America to get back on track. We want the world to understand that God is God. While these are good things, it doesn’t appear that they will come about it because God has His own plans in achieving His purposes. He’s already told us that at some future point, every knee will bow to God (Romans 14:11; Philippians 2:10). The problem is that we want God to do things our way. This is when He says “no,” simply because His way is infinitely better whether we can or are willing to see and admit it.

Revival: If My People…

Notice also that God tells Solomon flat out that if the people of Israel do things the right way, God will remain with them and they will enjoy “the land.” If not, they will be thrown out of “the land.” What “land” is God referring to here? Clearly, God is referring to the land that He promised Abraham and the people entered under the leadership of Joshua. It was that Land to which God was referring. History has shown us the truth of God’s promises here because Israel has been tossed out of that land numerous times from that time until today. It was in the early 1940s that Jewish people began to go back to “the land” because of WWI and WWII. God allowed that, according to His promises to Ezekiel.

Revival: Big Top Experience

But the question we really need to begin to look at is whether or not God wants revival for His people in order to also “revive” a particular land (like America). This really is key to our discussion because depending upon how you answer that question, will make the difference in how you understand revival. Is God in the business of “healing” or “saving” lands/nations or is He interested in saving people? If you answered that He is more interested in saving people, then the next question is whether or not He will save people so that they can change things in society in order that a land or nation might be healed.
