Gog Has a Thought…Ezekiel 38

Gog, the leader of the Northern Invasion that is introduced to readers in chapter 38 of Ezekiel, has a thought. That thought has a bad effect on him, as it leads him to act. That action causes him to first notice, then take up weapons against Israel and their Land. This gets him in deep trouble with God. Up until that point, Gog is completely unaware of what God is up to, but of course, God knows because He designed it.

Church of the Broken Heart

When I left my last church, it was very difficult. We had gone through some very rough situations. Had I listened to the warnings that God was sending my way from His Spirit to mine, I would have left earlier, but I failed. Because I did not listen, I was run over with what felt like a steamroller. I’m not the only one, but this is the way it is in churches where outward appearances are emphasized over other things. It is wrong. It is deceptively wrong and true Christians – especially in this day and age – cannot afford to continue to allow themselves to be carried off down the humanistic river.

Beyond the Valley of the Bones

During the Six-Day War of 1967, Israel gained the victory over her enemies because God is using Israel to gain the glory for Himself. Since the world is so convinced that Israel has no right to exist in the Middle East, the fact that they won a decisive battle during the Six-Day War made many aware of the fact that something else that was going on there during that time.

Tiny Israel was able to defend herself against enemies more powerful than herself and gained more Land because of it. How could that happen unless God was trying to prove something through Israel?

Loving People is a Learned Attribute

Since having left the last church I attended, I have learned some good lessons about loving people. You see, when I was involved in the Church of the Legalistic Aire, I believed then (and still do) that I was correct biblically. I mentioned that in my last blog. Being doctrinally correct is absolutely important, but so is loving people with the compassion that only comes from above.

When Fundamentalism Becomes Legalism

There is a way to understand the fundamental doctrines of the faith, while at the same time, be bursting with love and compassion for our fellow human beings, and especially for those within the household of faith. This needs to exist and it too often does not.

Lady Gaga’s Eye of Horus and Judas Video

A friend of mine and fellow researcher sent me some info on Lady Gaga’s recent video. You know, I have sometimes wondered why and how people like Gaga seem to come out of nowhere to become the latest “all that” in Hollywood and are then able to maintain that status, or even capitalize on it.

Ezekiel 37 – Israel’s Future History

Once the Millennial reign of Jesus begins, it is this group of Jewish people as God’s Remnant that will go in and fully possess the Land that God originally gave to them through Abraham. Unless you understand these portions of God’s Word allegorically, it is impossible to miss God’s meaning: He will complete His plan for the Land and nation of Israel for the sake of His holy Name, whether anyone likes it or not.

Dearborn Michigan: Pro-Islamic Sentiment Contrary to the U.S. Constitution

It’s pretty tragic when publicly elected officials begin an assualt on the U.S. Constitution. Such seems to be the case in Dearborn, MI where both Mayor O’Reilly and Chief of Police Haddad have made their own laws concerning the issue of freedom of speech and expression.

Myths of the Middle East by Joseph Farah

So what’s the solution to the Middle East mayhem? Well, frankly, I don’t think there is a man-made solution to the violence. But, if there is one, it needs to begin with truth. Pretending will only lead to more chaos. Treating a 5,000-year-old birthright backed by overwhelming historical and archaeological evidence equally with illegitimate claims, wishes and wants gives diplomacy and peacekeeping a bad name.

Three New Books from Dr. Fred DeRuvo

God does not love Jews more than anyone else on this planet. He loves to bring honor and glory to His Name and rightly so. Because of this, His plan for Israel – the Land and the nation – will continue to unfold. The gates of hell will not stand against it and neither will nations or people.
