News and Notes Update: November 11, 2020

Seems to me it’s about time for another News and Notes Update since the last one appears to be October 28th. I present the information contained herein for your benefit and to remind us where society is heading. Rather than get wrapped up in fear over these things, it is important to have the proper perspective and simply understand what is happening as the natural direction that society is taking based on Romans 1. If you haven’t read that chapter in a bit, you may wish to do so before proceeding.
Fascists on Parade
I found this interesting. It’s called the “Trump Accountability Project” and what it means essentially is that anyone (and they do mean anyone), who had anything to do with Donald J. Trump getting elected and/or working directly for him in his administration is to be targeted. What does this mean exactly? Well, based on what we’ve already seen in society, it likely means pushed to the edges of society so that Trump supporters cannot be actively involved in all aspects of society. Beyond this, it could also certainly mean that violence against Trump supporters is not only something to be desired, but considered necessary for the alleged “evil” we have perpetrated on the USA for voting him into office.
I’m sure with the Fascists behind the Trump Accountability Project, nothing is off the table. So be warned and be aware. Is this all just “fluff” with nothing behind it? I doubt it. Yet, at the same time, Leftists including MSM and Biden himself are calling for “unity.” You cannot have it both ways though with part of the Left calling for vitriolic attacks against conservatives and the other part of the Left calling for unity. Clearly, if Trump is declared the official winner of this most recent election, we can assume that the Left will go crazy.
Marxism’s Playbook
This type of behavior noted above should not come as a shock to anyone because it is literally part of the Marxist playbook in turning over society from its current level to something else entirely. In fact, one of the best ways to make this happen is through the election process. Marxists need to steal elections and/or create enough havoc, uncertainty, and fear with respect to those elections so that average people no longer trust the election process. Usually, this will result in the people clamoring for “something else” and the government will be happy to step in and provide it because I guarantee you the government already has a solution in waiting. Of course, if implemented, it will result in far less freedom for citizens and greater government control.
This election problem could’ve been handled relatively easily when Congress was a GOP majority under Trump. Unfortunately, President Trump never asked Congress to do anything about it. There’s no guarantee that Congress would have done anything about it, but Trump could’ve asked, but did not. So now, we have the current problem that appears to be unprecedented voter fraud, but don’t worry, because the media is working overtime to ensure that nothing illegal or untoward occurred during this most recent election. Bottom line is that this is a true psyop, designed to overthrow the Electoral College.
So that picture that highlights the idea that over 10,000 dead people returned mail-in ballots? According to CNN factcheckers, that’s completely false. They checked and CNN would never lie, would they?
COVID-19
Covid-19 keeps playing front and center…unless you’re part of the group that is out in the streets celebrating Joe Biden’s (unofficial) victory. If you’re part of that celebration and sharing champagne bottles, you have nothing to fear apparently. This is in spite of a return to lockdowns and mandates imposed within Democrat controlled states in the USA. I’ve also read that in some European countries like Greece, you’ll actually need to ask permission from authorities if you can leave your home for any reason. “May I be excused to walk my dog please?”
However, though the fear and propaganda appears to be ramped up everywhere, the one thing you will not hear about (unless you look for it or read it here and a few other places), is that Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC has done a study that essentially tells us that “there was statistically no significant differences” between CV-19 and the common flu. This actually tends to negate the Democratic Party’s “research.” So what’s it all about, Alfie? They want to control us. They want us to walk in “lockstep” with whatever command they issue and without question. Stop thinking. Just obey.
Remember, this is for an illness with a 99.6%+ survival rate. In other words, most people live. In any given year, up to 40 million people are affected by the flu and of those, anywhere from 30,000 to 80,000 die worldwide. What has been pointed out on numerous occasions is when we compare total deaths from this year to last year, there is virtually no real difference and certainly not enough to warrant economic shutdowns and locking down in place.
I am still amazed that even though in my state, there is no mask mandate, people continue to wear them. They wear them in their cars alone, walking along the street (alone), in stores when there aren’t enough people to worry about having to social distance. I’ve had to wear them in the doctor’s office and while getting blood drawn. I don’t wear them after that.
I find it fascinating that so many people wear these masks like you’d wear a hat. It’s become part of what we wear daily. Again, if you feel the need because of age or health, that’s totally up to you and your doctor. I’m not trying to negate that. I’m simply marveling at how quickly society adopted the position that masks “help” average people who are not sick. Even the CDC has said healthy people should not wear masks.
I also think it’s fascinating that most people who died during the Spanish Flu (1918-1919) did not die from the virus itself, but from bacterial pneumonia.[1] Gee, what might have caused that? Could it have been from all the people wearing gauze masks at the time? From what I’ve read and researched, this is a very distinct possibility. [2]
If this is even remotely true, is it also possible that this “second wave” experts have been warning us about will actually be from the same type of bacterial pneumonia from wearing masks 24/7? If someone must wear a mask for a brief period of time here or there, there should be very little risk. I have worn N95 masks while mowing my lawn during allergy season and I just want to avoid breathing in all the grass clippings and dust kicked up by my zero turn. But for people who believe that they cannot leave their homes without a mask, this may be problematic. Please use common sense and research this.
My wife’s sister and her husband spent weeks remodeling part of their home. They stripped rooms down to the frame in some cases. She wore a mask all the time and she remembers being sick. She’d go to the doctor, they’d give her an antibiotic, she’d get better, then start remodeling again with a mask and she’d get sick again. The process was repeated multiple times. She now looks back on that time and wonders.
The other problem is that most people today do not consider what they eat. Most meat – beef, lamb, chicken, pork – is raised on hormones and antibiotics. I believe that this is one of the reasons people no longer react to many antibiotics when sick and must be given stronger antibiotics. They eat meat raised on antibiotics and hormones and that does affect our bodies. Eat organic whenever you can. Be picky and choose your food wisely. Avoid processed foods whenever possible. Think about what you are eating and drinking and the potential results on your system.
Abortion in the Bible?
A new study has shown that four out of 10 people who claim to be Christians believe the Bible is “ambiguous” on the issue of abortion. Isn’t that amazing? Four out of 10 professing Christians think this.
I think if more Christians opened their Bibles and actually studied things, it would be a slam dunk on issues like this. They’ve bought the propaganda that says a growing baby in the womb is simply “fetal material” but not necessarily a human being.
How else are human beings FORMED if not in the womb?!! If a child is growing inside a woman’s body, ending its life is MURDER. There is no question about that. Murder is the deliberate stopping of human life. How many unborn babies make it out of an abortion clinic alive?
I recently saw a tweet from a Christian on Twitter who argued that he had been praying for God to forgive the United States for all the abortions that have occurred in this nation. He then asked, “Are you praying too?”
The problem with this is that God will not offer blanket forgiveness for this. He requires the perpetrators to repent, to confess their sin and personally ask for forgiveness that He has provided. This needs to begin with all the woman who have had abortions, all the abortion providers who have done abortions and all the lawmakers in Congress who have made it possible to kill unborn children. These same lawmakers who made it legal to kill your unborn child have affixed huge penalties for destroying an eagle’s egg and other wildlife. This tells you what we need to know about the corruption and evil of many within the halls of Congress.
God will not simply “forgive” if we ask Him. Yes, Jesus asked that God to forgive the ones who crucified Him because they didn’t know what they were doing. Stephen also asked that God not hold the sin of murder against those who were stoning him to death in Acts. We should certainly take the same approach and be quick to forgive. However, God does not simply forgive sin.
The world is headed toward judgment and Psalm 2 bears this out very clearly, as just one example. The nations rage at God. They want so desperately to throw off the “chains” of His greatness and oversight. They want to do things their way and snub God. In fact, they want to forget God altogether. God will give them that opportunity in the coming Tribulation.
What is fascinating about that is the fact that the nations want to desperately reject the God of all Creation, yet they will willingly worship a man who comes in Satan’s power and claims to be God. Doesn’t that boggle your mind?
Astounding, isn’t it?
Have a great day everyone. May the Lord make His Presence known to you in a special way that coincides with the revelation of His written Word. Don’t fret. Don’t worry. Take it to Him in prayer, whatever the situation is that is trying to bind you. Worship Him and Him alone.

Great update! I enjoy reading your perspective and agree with most everything you write.

Our church has led us in similar type prayers based on Daniel’s prayer in Daniel 9 (NASB) where he says, “we have sinned, committed iniquity, acted wickedly, and rebelled, even turning aside from Thy commandments and ordinances, (v.5) and goes on to list more of their sins, but in v. 15-19, Daniel makes a plea for forgiveness, a turning away from wrath, and for mercy. He says, “listen to the prayer of Thy servant and to his supplications, and for Thy sake, O Lord, let Thy face shine on Thy desolate sanctuary…O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! For Thine own sake, O my God, do not delay, because Thy city and Thy people are called by Thy name” (v. 17,19).
So is it wrong to pray like Daniel did? If so, is it because Israel was God’s people and America isn’t? I’ve heard this, meaning we can pray this way for the Church, but not our country. Either way, you seem to be saying we can’t pray this way for either reason because God first requires repentance. This also makes sense, but begs the question as to why Daniel prayed this way if it didn’t do any good. What we are supposed to glean from his prayer? Is there an application for us today?

I could be wrong about Daniel, but the way I see it is that Daniel was acting as a bit of a high priest for Israel even though he wasn’t officially in that position. In some ways, Daniel is a type of Christ as well, with his humble spirit, his devotion to God, his unwillingness to swerve off the path of God’s will regardless of the consequences of following God. In that way, Daniel is a very good example for us.
I look at it like this – Israel was normally seen in the Old Testament as one entity, meaning if someone within Israel did something wrong, the entire camp of Israelites were affected. Think of Achan’s sin in Joshua 7 as just one example. There we read, “The Israelites, however, were unfaithful regarding the things set apart for destruction. Achan son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of what was set apart, and the Lord’s anger burned against the Israelites” (v 1). Achan was unfaithful to God and because of it the Israelites lost the battle at Ai. Even more interesting is the fact that the Bible tells us of God’s response to Joshua’s prayer after this defeat:
“Stand up! Why have you fallen facedown? Israel has sinned. They have violated my covenant that I appointed for them. They have taken some of what was set apart. They have stolen, deceived, and put those things with their own belongings. This is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies. They will turn their backs and run from their enemies, because they have been set apart for destruction. I will no longer be with you unless you remove from among you what is set apart” (7:11-12)
Isn’t it interesting that even though it was only Achan who sinned, God essentially said the entire nation had sinned (“Israel has sinned.”) This is astounding because that is the way God chose to deal with Israel – as one entity.
The other issue related to Israel and Daniel is that Israel was a Theocracy. In essence, God and God alone was to rule over them, but Israel wanted a human king. God gave them their wish and for the most part, they had nothing but problems because of it. So Daniel, in my opinion, was going to the Lord on behalf of Israel, the nation which had the very Law of God and the oracles of God. Because Daniel was an Israelite, he had every right to go to God on behalf of Israel and did so. But in response to Daniel’s prayer, God provided Daniel with knowledge of what would occur in the near future and far flung future. Israel is currently back in the Land but they are there in unbelief. Eventually, they will go through the Tribulation period where God will pull out His final remnant from all of Israel. They will be purified and they will never again rebel against God.
That is Israel. That is God’s plan as far as I understand it from Scripture. Now consider Jonah and Nineveh. Notice in that book, Jonah did not want to go and evangelize the Ninevites. Why? Because they had treated Israel horribly so Jonah was nursing a grudge. Ultimately, God turned that generation of Ninevites around in repentance. Notice in that book that the repentance began with the king of Nineveh and it filtered down from there. They were fully repentant and that generation turned around. Years later, the Ninevites returned to their pagan ways and God destroyed them.
Again, I may be wrong, but I do not see how God can simply “forgive” a nation’s sins unless the leaders of that nation repent and change their ways. People want God to forgive murders that take place daily in abortion clinics without the perpetrators of those abortions or the mothers who submit to them are not repentant. If someone commits a sin against me, I can pray that God will not hold that particular sin to their account. This does not mean that all their sin will be forgiven or that they will be saved because of my willingness to forgive (though I should certainly be praying for their salvation).
I could be wrong and I’m willing to be shown from Scripture if I am. I tend to think that God’s forgiveness is not simply like a blanket tossed over an entire nation without the leaders or people in that nation coming to terms with their sin. In the Church Age, this is done individually. As people come to the Lord in repentance and see their need of a Savior, then place their faith in that Savior, God’s forgiveness is extended to that individual. Moreover, we also receive the very righteousness of Jesus Himself in exchange for the filthiness of our unrighteousness.
Unfortunately, people place a high calling on saving the United States. I don’t think it can be saved but would love to be wrong about that. I believe all nations will eventually merge into one global empire ruled over by the coming Antichrist.
I truly believe God is far more interested in we His children bringing individual lost people to Him for salvation than in trying to give blanket forgiveness or immunity to an entire nation. The only nation that God has specifically raised up from nothing is Israel. Though He certainly uses every nation for His glory, He specifically and personally created Israel and treats all the people of Israel as ONE entity, from which He is constantly purging rebels and will one day have a perfected Israel that will never rebel and always serve Him perfectly. Interestingly enough, the same holds true of the Church, Christ’s Bride, as we are being built individually into one beautiful building to the glory of God.

I appreciate your answer and I will have to read it a few times because I am very interested in understanding. I believe Israel is in a different category than America and what the Bible says for Israel is for Israel and not America. I am in an evangelical church but one that has embraced many unbiblical teachings and trying to discern is proving quite difficult for me.
If Israel is one entity, and they were all punished for one man’s sin, will God then also save them as one entity? Or only the remnant?

Israel is different, yes. God’s purpose for Israel is different from the Church.
I believe God will save a final remnant from Israel (Romans 9-11) and that final Remnant will be the purified Israel that enters the Millennial Kingdom following the Tribulation. As Paul says in Roman not all those if Israel are true Israelites.

Anthony Fauci even commented on this fact! “We agree completely that bacterial pneumonia played a major role in the mortality of the 1918 pandemic,” says Anthony Fauci, director of National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease in Bethesda, Maryland, and author of another journal article out next month that comes to a similar conclusion

Thanks so much for your comments and links. Yes, even though Fauci said what he said, essentially agreeing that a major number of people died from bacterial pneumonia, he still went onto say he would support a national mask mandate. I don’t mind doing something that might benefit people, but the reality is that wearing masks 24/7 not only does no good, but also harms the wearer. Why would I want to rebreathe my exhaled carbon dioxide and all the germs and bacteria that my body was designed to get rid of in part through my mouth and nose? This makes absolutely no sense to me and yet I still hear Christians say, “Jesus would wear a mask”! Absurd.
