Ten Kings, the Antichrist, and the New World Order, Part 4
As we arrive to Daniel 9, we begin to zero in on specific times and timelines decreed by God Himself, with more of an explanation provided as to the exact amount of time that the Jewish people (Israel) would be under the thumb to some extent of Gentiles. We need to recall that had Israel been faithfully observant with respect to avoiding idolatry and fulfilling her responsibility with respect to the land Sabbath as well as Jubilee, all would have been well. For Israel to have accomplished this, it would have meant having kings who took seriously their role as leader and they would have been faithful in leading the people of Israel to keep all of God’s Law found in the Mosaic code. This was simply not the case and even though there were very likely people in Israel who had faith in God and believed His promises to them, the tone of the entire nation as determined by the corrupt and selfish kings who ruled over Israel was what God zeroed in on and the entire nation paid the price for their kings’ unfaithfulness in many things.

But where does all of this start? As we noted previously, even though the coming one-world government has roots all the way back to Genesis 11, Nimrod, and the Tower of Babel, it all begins in earnest in Daniel 2. This is where God chose to reveal what was previously hidden and starts the clock ticking. It is interesting that God chose to reveal the start of the first empire all the way to the global unification of the fourth and final empire in its revised or “resurrected” form (yet future), through Nebuchadnezzar. However, it makes sense if this is where God began tracking the 70 “weeks” that are revealed in Daniel 9.

But the Elite are blind to Satan’s (and certainly God’s) plans! They are working so hard behind the scenes to unify the world that they are not aware that once they bring the world together in its final global empire form (though they fully expect themselves to be the ones to rule; ten of the most important and powerful men of the Elite families), the Antichrist will step up at that point and literally take over, according to Scripture. The Elite will have done all the hard work but at the right time, Antichrist will waltz into the situation and take control. He will use fatal force to win his point.
It’s Political Season in Case You Aren’t Aware
Satan is the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4). He is the ruler of the powers of the air (Ephesians 2:2). With God’s permission, he has designed a system for which he will one day gain full control and insert his spiritual son into the mix as the final lawless ruler of the fourth revised Roman Empire, as seen in Daniel 2, 7, 9, and 11. It is bound to happen. There is nothing we can do to stop it as it is written in the “stone” of God’s Word.

As Daniel continued, he explained that another empire would come after Babylon and Daniel described aspects of it, saying that although Babylon was represented by a lion with wings, the next empire to come along was represented by a bear that was lopsided. It turns out that the empire that followed Babylon in history was the Medo-Persian Empire.
