Birth Pains VS Tribulation Judgments
When we consider the 21 specific judgments that occur within the coming seven year Tribulation period (kicked off by the rider on the white horse’s appearance on the world’s stage; aka the Antichrist or Islam’s Final Mahdi), I see this whole period as Stage 1, 2, and 3 of the entire birth process (active labor), with the beginning of birth pains (wars, rumors of wars, famine and earthquakes), representing the time prior to the start of the actual three stage active labor process. The birth pains lead up to and introduce the coming Tribulation just as the mother who experiences intermittent birth pains and some contractions, but has not entered active labor.

This is actually Birth Pang #2 because this began occurring officially in 1948. What about the rest of the text, you would do well to ask? It hasn’t happened yet! This is a process that God is doing with Israel to get them ready for the final remnant to enter into the Millennial Kingdom where Jesus will reign. Isaiah 11-12 discuss this same thing, much of it dealing with the results of God regathering Israel, sprinkling them with water to purify them, giving them a new heart, and bringing them into the Land where they will finally and fully enjoy all the Land that was promised to them via Abraham. But it is clear from Scripture that this is a process that doesn’t happen overnight. In fact, the regathering itself of Jews to the Land has taken decades and even a few generations and it is still ongoing!

You can bury your head in the sand, as if that will do any good, or you can ensure that you are spiritually fit for the coming days. The first step is in knowing Jesus because He is the only One who offers absolute and true salvation. That is the first step. The second step is to exercise your spiritual muscles every day through prayer and reading His Word. The third step is to use discernment and wisdom that He will provide to make the necessary decisions and preparations for daily living. It is in that way that He will not let you down, but will guide and direct you.
The coming days are not impossible for His children to live through. Should some of us be taken in death, what a glory that will be!
