MTHFR: Here’s to Your Health!

My lifestyle and diet has changed dramatically over the past several years. It has allowed me to lose nearly 70 pounds and in some ways, I feel much better. However, because of the ongoing fibromyalgia and CFS, other issues seem to be constantly at the forefront with me. I always seem to be fighting off fatigue, a foggy head with inability to concentrate, and a general malaise that cannot be explained. Folks, this is what medical doctors would say hypochondriacs are made of, but thanks to the field of genetics, things are being uncovered that provide more and more information on how are bodies work or how they are supposed to work but don’t.

Aluminum or other heavy metals introduced into our bodies as infants via vaccinations, and throughout our lives in daily chemicals and cleaning agents we use, can and almost always will cause unbalances in our GABA-to-Glutamate ratio. This wreaks havoc on our brains because these two neurotransmitters are two of the most important neurotransmitters we have, but certainly not the only ones.
