Eschatology in Romans Related to Israel and the Church, Part 2

Unfortunately, in today’s religious climate, many even within Christendom see Israel as a problem rather than the source of blessing from God’s perspective. They point to the nation’s rejection of Jesus as Messiah and God’s judgment upon that nation in AD 70 by Rome. This, they believe, is when God not only judged the nation, but chose at that time to cut all ties with Israel forever. While God certainly judged, He most certainly did not cut all ties with Israel. Only through incorrect exegesis and allegorical maneuvering can God’s Word be said to teach that. The whole of the Bible does not support such an untenable position.

God’s Sovereignty Through the Ages, Part 1

There is nothing humanity can do to diminish or offset God’s sovereignty and we’d best come to terms with that as quickly as we can. In this series, we are going to rely heavily upon the Bible to tell us what we need to know about God and His sovereignty – two things which are inseparable because they go hand in hand. It is important for our own spiritual health that we attack this issue head on because it will help us understand our tendency to think too highly of ourselves individually and humanity overall.

Jesus Culture: Emotionally Charged and Sensory Driven

The reality is that the Bible never speaks of huge revivals happening the last days. It speaks of horrors that are difficult to imagine, persecution that is off the charts, yet in the midst of it, people will be saved. They won’t be saved because of Jesus Culture’s loud, sensory-driven (and manipulative) music either. They will be saved by the solid preaching of the truth – God’s Word – just as occurred with Peter on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). There was no music, no lights, no fog machines. There was simply one man, empowered by God’s Holy Spirit to speak the truth (not platitudes) to people who desperately needed to hear it.

Fearmongers…

I think there is a HUGE difference between people discussing aspects of what is taught in Scriptures about the end times – times I have repeatedly stated that I believe we are now living in – and those who seem to be thoroughly ensconced in trying to spread as much fear as possible based on what they tell us is happening or going to happen in society.

Ahmadinejad’s Vitriolic Rhetoric Regarding Israel

Harun Yahya is a man who unlike Ahmadinehad, not only wants peace for Jews, but is willing to help them get there, and still allow them to keep what they already have.

Earthquakes in Various Places…

You would think if people took the time to record an event like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, they might be inclined to record an event like a massive earthquake, if one happened.

Dispensationalists Are Anti-Semitic?

When the nation of Israel rejected Jesus as Messiah, they were also judged by God. That judgment was fulfilled in A.D. 70 with the complete obliteration of Jerusalem and the Temple. However, what Preterists and others believe is that this was also the Tribulation. In point of fact, it was not the Tribulation and the only way to show that it was, is by completely allegorizing the text of Scripture, ignoring pertinent facts, while whitewashing others.

Islam Will Dominate

The sad fact of the matter is that even when no one says anything bad about Islam or Muhammad, Islamic extremists continue to rain terror down on people with suicide bomb missions, attacks by Taliban or Al Queda, or otherwise.

Seventh-Day Adventism Trying to Hide…

There are major problems in my view, with Seventh-day Adventism, but chief among them is their view of salvation. As indicated, White taught (and it is taught today in the SDA), that salvation can be lost. I realize that people have been debating and arguing about this since the beginning of the Church, and no one will solve this problem today. The reality though is that each and every person really needs to sit down with the Scriptures and determine what they say.

The Poor, Misguided PreTrib Rapturist…(Sigh)

Get the word out about how ruinous the PreTrib Rapture is in all its wayward deception. In the meantime, do NOTHING to combat the actual deception that has invaded the visible Church, leaving apostasy in its wake. Good move. Actual lost souls will enter into eternity completely lost and you can go on combating the End Times apostasy of the PreTrib Rapture. Get a clue, people. Too many people remain lost because too many Christians are fighting the wrong fight! It is time to wake up, pick up our swords and fight the real enemy, not the PERCEIVED enemy.
