Iran Moves Troops to Israeli Border to Quash Rebel Groups?

Let's not forget that Isaiah 17 tells us one day, Damascus will be completely destroyed. That is future tense.

Let’s not forget that Isaiah 17 tells us one day, Damascus will be completely destroyed. That is future tense.

The Times (Middle East) is reporting that Iranian troops are positioning themselves right near the Israeli border. This is ostensibly being done “as its allies crush rebel groups in the Golan Heights area of Syria.”

Syria continues to be a hotbed of rebellion and conflict, with attempts to oust Bashar al-Assad and his regime. It is noteworthy to remind readers that since Barack Obama became president, he has encouraged uprisings he called “Arab Spring” to remove dictators like Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, Muammar Gaddafi, Prime Minister of Libya, and others in the area of North Africa. Democracies were supposed to be created after that, but so far, haven’t been. Originally, Mubarak was replaced with a Muslim Brotherhood candidate – Mohamed Morsi – in an “election” that was supposed to be fair, but that didn’t happen either. He has since been ousted.

Interestingly enough, George H. W. Bush, along with the UN Security Council, had issues with Saddam Hussein in as late as 1991, prompting him to remark: “What is at stake is more than one small country, it is a big idea—a new world order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind: peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law.”

However, it was not until 2003, under George W. Bush that war was declared against Iraq for their invasion of Kuwait. At that point, Bush also referred to Iran, Iraq, and North Korea as the “axis of evil” and felt the need to topple the Iraqi government led by Hussein. Hussein was finally captured in December, 2003, ultimately went on trial and was executed by hanging.

In reality though, little, if anything has changed for the better in those areas of the world – whether the Middle East, the Far East, or Northern Africa. It is my considered opinion that the globalists who helped place George H. W. Bush, Clinton, George W. Bush, and now Obama (besides others before them) want that area of the world under their control and the best way for them to achieve it would be to have it appear to the world as though the Muslim Brotherhood has leaders leading these individual countries. If they have Muslim Brotherhood members as puppet leaders for these countries, technically, the globalists are in charge. This did not work out so well with Morsi, which is why he’s out. Other countries that have gone through their “Arab Spring” are in no better shape with governments that could fall at any moment. Things are in a constant state of flux there and it is also my belief that the same globalists are using ISIS to their advantage mowing down villages and churches in an effort to shake things up. One way or another, globalists want all of the Middle East and Northern Africa together as a unit. If they can bring it together as an Islamic caliphate, that’s fine. Once they get what they want, they’ll easily rid themselves of ISIS. Right now, it simply seems that ISIS is running amok. It’s a controlled “amok.”

With Assad still up and running the government of Syria – in spite of major efforts to extricate him from his position (including Barack Obama stating to the world that Assad should step down), he remains the leader of Syria. Then again, for some reason, Iran, which was part of George W. Bush’s “axis of evil,” is now all of a sudden a “friend” of the United States? What a joke but the theater of politics lives on.

Now, Iran is moving in closer to the Syrian/Israeli border to fight against rebel groups. Which rebel groups? Who knows? We do need to remember that this is the same Iran that has been working toward having the nuclear bomb. It is the same Iran that has shown no favoritism (or even a willingness to put up with Israel’s presence) toward Israel. This is why Israel has been considering bombing missions to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities and it is why – as we stated previously – that Saudi Arabia is willing to allow Israeli jets to fly through a narrow corridor of airspace to reach Iran quicker. Saudi Arabia is not doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. They are doing it because they want Israel to “enjoy” the blame if they do take out Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Since Saudi Arabia will not necessarily be joining Israel’s efforts personally with fighter jets (but is merely allowing Israel to pass through), then clearly, as far as the UN is concerned, Saudi Arabia would not be considered the aggressor. That’s a bit like one burglar unlocking the front door of a house for another burglar, but not joining in with the burglary. It’s a bit disingenuous but that’s the way the world plays politics.

The situation in the Middle East will likely continue to worsen or we will at least hear a great deal more saber-rattling in the ensuing days, weeks, and months. We know that eventually, we have Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 yet to be fulfilled. When that will happen only God literally knows. All we can do is watch, pray, and continue to work.
