Israel Squeezed Again!

Judea and Samaria in the time of Christ

In a recent development, the EU has now decided that Israeli goods made in Judea and Samaria are open to EU import duties, because they say that both of these territories are not considered part of Israeli territory.

It is clear that the world stands against Israel, and for many, their response is to cheer loudly.  The difficulty of course, is that while many believe that Israel is the worst nation on earth, and no other nation compares with their allegeded “bloodlust,” all other countries are just that:  their own countries.

The fact that the world is NOW saying that there is NO room for Israel as a country in this world, or especially in the part of the world that has defined Israel for generations is, in my opinion, unconscienable.  Yet, there it is.

It is interesting that when Hitler walked this earth, and led his anti-Zionist Nazi troops into World War II, his attempt to exterminate ALL Jews was all but ignored by most people of the world.  Most did not want to risk being executed themselves.  A few people like Corrie Ten Boom (who also spent time in a concetration camp and lost several family members), went out on a limb to save who they could save.

How can the entire world allow one man with millions following his lead, can treat one specific ethnic group of people as though they are worthless and deserve death?  As far as God is concerned, ALL deserve death.  There is no one righteous, no not one.  Yet, even God who spared not His own Son, gave Him in death that we might have life.  Not Hitler and not the coming Antichrist, of which Hitler was merely a shadow.

Very few see where this world is heading and it will make the Nazi death camps look like parks, compared to what the Antichrist is going to mete out, especially on Jews.  The really disgusting part is to hear professing Christians side with the rest of the world against Jewish people and the state of Israel, because they believe that “the Jews” are responsible for all the major problems of this world!

I’ve heard it over and over again.  It is stated so commonly that no one blinks at it anymore.  Black leaders have stated it, Arabs and Muslims have stated it, and professing Christians have stated it.  Yet, if all the ills of the world were blamed on African Americans, or some other group, you can bet there would be an outcry so loud that all the windows in the world would break!

People who stand against Jews and Israel need to ask themselves WHY.  Why is it they harbor such unmitigated ethnic bias against a group that in spite of the fact that they have survived attempted extermination on more than one occasion, these same professing Christians and others see Jews as the problem?

Could it possibly be that Satan is instigating them to do, say, and feel what HE feels for the Jews?  After all, if not for the Jews, there would be NO salvation, since Christ was born INTO Israel, as a JEW, lived as a JEW, was crucified as a JEW, rose again as a JEW and continues to exist in full humanity (while being God), as a JEW.

To those who HATE Jews, I have to wonder how they separate the fact that Christ is a JEW, and the Bible was written BY JEWS, and the culture within the Bible reflects Judaism?  How is that possible, especially, when Arabs and Muslims (Jihadists), train their children from nearly INFANCY to hate Jews, and much of their literature (including places in the Koran), reflects that hatred?  There is something extremely wrong with picking Jews out of the line up, so to speak, while letting everyone else off the hook.

The Jews then were not seen as people, but objects, and those objects were seen as worthless, requiring nothing less than full extermination.

The world is quickly rising to that same point again.  There is NO concern for the fact that every nation on earth is now against Israel, including the United States.  While people continually come back to the supposed “terror” that Israel has created in the Middle East, these same people are completely blind to the fact that Israel, surrounded by Arab/Muslim nations has continued to do whatever is necessary to ensure a Middle East sans Jewish people and certainly without a Jewish state.

I see no one protesting Iran, or Iraq with their atrocities.  I see no one coming out against Ahmadinejad, who along with Khadafi, should have been arrested when they appeared at the United Nations.  Instead, dictator Ahmadinejad was applauded, in spite of the fact that a number of other high-level diplomats and leaders of other countries condemned his speech as one of the most virulent, anti-Semitic speeches since Adolph Hitler.

In the long run, I believe God will be victorious since the Land spoken of in Scripture (originally, the Palestinian Land Covenant, but shortened to simply the Land Covenant because of Arafat’s coup), is God’s Land.  While the Gentiles continue to trample it, the appointed time will come when God will stand, and will direct Michael, the Archangel to come against the enemies of Israel.

As Ezekiel repeatedly states throughout the book named after this prophet, God will do what He does in the Middle East for the sake of His holy Name.  People continually forget that.

In fact, in Ezkiel, God CLEARLY states that it is NOT for Israel or for the Jewish people that He does what He will do, but SOLELY for the sake of His Name.  The world (including Israel), will answer to that.

The remainder of the article from IsraelNN.com is reprinted here:

The ruling determined that Israel has no standing in the Biblical heartland and opens the door to EU import duties on Israeli goods from Judea and Samaria, which would make those products less competitive. The EU has signed accords with both Israel and the Palestinian Authority and presently does not levy customs duties from either.

The court said the EU’s agreement with Israel “applies to the territory of the State of Israel” while the one with the PA applies to “the territories of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip,” according to Associated Press.

Thursday’s ruling stems from a German case filed by Brita, a German company that imports soft-drink-making machines from Soda-Club Ltd., an Israeli company based in Mishor Adumim, in the Binyamin region. Brita had asked German customs authorities not to charge it import duties, but the authorities rejected the request. On appeal, a Hamburg appeal court asked the Court of Justice of the European Union for its opinion.

Political Decision
Industrialists’ Federation President Shraga Brosh said that the EU decision to levy customs on goods made in Judea and Samaria is more political than economic in nature. He added that it would be better if the EU focused on advancing economic cooperation between Israel and the PA, instead of being dragged into “disputed legal-diplomatic interpretations,” as he put it.

The court decision “surprised nobody,” IDF Radio quoted a Foreign Ministry source as saying Thursday. “Israel regrets that the ruling legitimizes the campaign against Israeli products made in Judea and Samaria, and is a continuation of the political European campaign against the settlements,” the source added.
