And they Say Christians are Intolerant!

Jihadist Mentality of Muslims...in the name of Allah

Christianity constantly gets a bad rap for being “intolerant.”  This is in spite of the fact that this country was founded on Christian principles and many of our founding fathers were Christians or deists.  The reality is that what is happening not only in this country and throughout the world is an intolerance exercised toward Christians and Christianity.

If you are a “Christian” who believes that Christianity is good for you, but may not be the way for someone else, you are exempt from this growing intolerance.  Of course, you are probably exempt from salvation as well, since you disagree with Jesus Himself on that score.

Here in America, it has become fashionable (thanks largely to the Obama Administration), to view even fantatical Muslims as downtrodden and misunderstood.  Countries throughout the world are rolling out the red carpets for Muslims.  They believe that if they befriend Muslims, terrorists will look elsewhere for targets.  This is false and it will be seen eventually, but for now people live with false hope that jihadist Muslims (terrorists) will ease up on their fanaticism and stop killing people who leave THEM alone.  It won’t happen.  It simply proves that people who do this know nothing of the Koran, or Islam.  They do not realize that the Koran refers to non-Muslims as infidels.  Infidels should be killed according to jihadist Muslims.

I just received an emailed news bulletin from Prophecine.com in which we read first hand what Muslims think of non-Muslims.

Iraq (MNN) ― Muslim extremists are warning Christians in Iraq to leave the country immediately or risk violent death. The threat mentions believers in Baghdad and Mosul–already troubled areas.

Voice of the Martyrs reports that an Iraqi bishop received a letter from the General Secretariat of the Islam Supporters warning Christians in Baghdad and other areas to “leave the country of Muslims (Iraq) for good and immediately in the form of mass transmigration.” It continues: “You can follow Pope Benedict XVI and his followers who have disfigured humanity and Islam,” the letter said. “There’s no more room for you, infidels, among the Iraqi Muslims. Our swords shall be placed upon your necks and the necks of your followers and other Christians residing in Mosul.”

Jerry Dykstra of Open Doors USA confirms the hostility against followers of Christ. “Christians are just being further marginalized, as we’ve heard the reports of random violence. It comes down to this: Christians there are being targeted because of their faith in Jesus Christ.”

Sunni Muslim insurgents have frequently targeted members of Iraq’s Christian minority. Iraq’s current government is Shiite-led. As a result, Christians have found that they are in the crossfire. Many thousands have already fled to neighboring countries.

Christians make up roughly 3.3 percent of Iraq’s people. It’s estimated that the remnant church is well below the 500,000 believers who were in Iraq before the Iraq war.

Still, Christians in Iraq remain strong in their faith. Dykstra says “the Gospel is going forward, and people are coming to Christ. People have to meet more in secret, but the good thing is that when they meet in secret, they’re praising the Lord and lifting up their needs.”

Pray for ministry opportunities for churches and Christian relief organizations working in Iraq.

Teams have to work carefully. Dykstra says even though the church is isolated, “Fortunately, Open Doors has put programs in place in literacy training and praying with them that will help Christians.”

Iraq is 17th on the Open Doors World Watch List of top 50 countries known for their persecution of Christians.

I do not see an ounce of tolerance in that news bulletin, do you?  What I see are jihadist Muslims who are threatening to execute (by beheading) non-Muslims who remain in their country.  Iraq believes in Sharia Law and as it applies to infidels, it is fine to kill them.  Allah approves of it.

I have said this before, but last year, throughout the world, over 150,000 Christians were martyred for their faith and it looks like things are just starting to heat up too.

Here in America, we do not kill Muslims.  They are welcome, as long as they do not break the laws of the land.  In fact, anyone who can legally enter this country is welcome, with the same proviso.  In Iraq, it is very possible to be killed just for being a Christian.

In Great Britain, people have recently been arrested for “offending” Muslims and their beliefs by stating Allah is not god.  When considering the last days, the coming Tribulation and the atmosphere during that time, it becomes clear that a type of Sharia Law will become the law of the world, at least for a time.  Under the leadership of Antichrist, anyone who does not worship him will be executed.

When a Christian repeats what Jesus says in John 14:6 about Him being the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him, that Christian is accused of being intolerant and offensive.  However, what if there IS only one way and it IS through Jesus Christ?  In that case, the Christian is repeating TRUTH and in that case, that TRUTH becomes offensive and intolerant.

Kids are raised to believe that it’s only sticks and stones which can inflict real pain and they should ignore it when being called names, or when they come across someone who is intolerant in word.  Yet, in the adult world, this is not the case.  Tell people today that homosexuality is wrong and possibly go to jail (it’s already happened in Great Britain).  Tell people that Jesus Christ is the only way to receive salvation and be accused of being intolerant.  If you happen to be a Christian living in Iraq, then you’d also be prepared to give up your life too.

Let’s face it, the only hate crime that is legal anymore is one that bashes Christians.  We can be called hatemongers, intolerant, and more.  We can be despised because of our audacity in believing that we have the truth and no one else does.  It is coming to a time when authentic Christians will be killed for their faith.  Does that seem right?  Does that seem equitable?

It’s certainly one way to separate the sheep from the goats; the professing Christians from the authentic.  We excuse Iraq on the grounds that they are living in the dark ages.  We expect countries like Iraq to come against Christians.  Will our president come out and condemn such actions?  He likely will not because he is too busy courting Muslim countries, joining societies and associations that condemn Israel, and in general, doing whatever he cares to do to promote his own Muslim agenda.

Intolerance against Christians is fast becoming the norm from all groups.  We do nothing except repeat what is taught in the Bible.  Muslims do the same and many of them – jihadists – take it to the extreme by killing innocent people in the name of Allah.  Authentic Christians do not do that.  We preach the gospel.  We do what we can to feed the hungry and clothe the naked.

If I believe I have salvation through Jesus Christ and that it is the only way TO salvation, how could I not share this with others?  But in doing so, I am now classified as intolerant or worse?

I came across this comment on another blog recently and it fits here perfectly (the cartoon at the top of this page is also from this same blog):  “When covering the different civil wars and conflicts between nations, if the news agencies identified the religions or political ideologies of each side, it would quickly become clear that almost all of them are between Muslims and someone else. And in almost all of them, Muslims instigated the conflict but consider themselves merely “defending” Islam.” [1]

And for those who say that there is no coming Tribulation and no Antichrist, I say wake up!  Wake up!
