Muslims in Canada Speak Out Against Ground Zero Mosque “Fitna”

I found this extremely interesting. Interesting enough to quote part of it here and provide a link to the entire article. It is written by two individuals who are Muslims and they live in Canada. The title of their article is “Mischief in Manhattan.”

The byline to their article is “We Muslims know the Ground Zero mosque is meant to be a deliberate provocation.”

Do you find that as fascinating as I do? When people in this country accuse Imam Rauf of propaganda in order to push the mosque through, he denies it. Proponents of this mosque say that they want it to be a center for healing so that all faiths can come together. Anyone who does NOT want this mosque to be built is often characterized as racist, or bigoted, or simply filled with hatred toward Muslims.

Yet, here are two Muslims who would disagree and present their opinion, based on their own religion, that the mosque should NOT be built at Ground Zero.

“When we try to understand the reasoning behind building a mosque at the epicentre of the worst-ever attack on the U.S., we wonder why its proponents don’t build a monument to those who died in the attack?” [1] The previous comments were stated by Raheel Raza and Tarek Fatah in the article and they make a valid point.

If those who wish to build this mosque are really interested in healing, you would think that they would build some type of monument to all those who died during the 9/11 attack. Instead, they want to build a mosque, as if there are no other mosques in New York City, or that they have run out of space for all the worshipers who use the existing mosques.

This next set of comments by these same two individuals is shocking in its truthfulness. Please read it carefully.

“New York currently boasts at least 30 mosques so it’s not as if there is pressing need to find space for worshippers. The fact we Muslims know the idea behind the Ground Zero mosque is meant to be a deliberate provocation to thumb our noses at the infidel. The proposal has been made in bad faith and in Islamic parlance, such an act is referred to as “Fitna,” meaning “mischief-making” that is clearly forbidden in the Koran.” (Emphasis added) [2]

Here we have two Muslims admitting that the actions of Muslims in this country is scandalous because it goes against the teachings of the Qur’an. I have to say that it is nice of them to admit it. The Qur’an is an interesting book and if you have ever read it, you know what I mean. It is interesting because it seems to contradict itself in numerous areas. At one point, it seems to hold out no hope or love for the infidels (non-Muslims), while at other points, it seems to say that Muslims must show deference to them.

The article also asks a number of good questions…that remain unanswered by Imam Rauf:

“So what gives Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf of the “Cordoba Initiative” and his cohorts the misplaced idea that they will increase tolerance for Muslims by brazenly displaying their own intolerance in this case?”Do they not understand that building a mosque at Ground Zero is equivalent to permitting a Serbian Orthodox church near the killing fields of Srebrenica where 8,000 Muslim men and boys were slaughtered?” [3]

The answer is OF COURSE Rauf knows what this will mean. He is very aware of the fact that hardcore Muslims around the world will REJOICE at the fact that a mosque was built so near the place where Muslims extremists killed (actually, they sacrificed) 3,000 people! In short, it means another VICTORY for Islam.

Yet we have imbeciles like Mayor Bloomberg and others who are completely blind to the implications. They are blind because they WANT to be blind. It is tragic that there are not more Muslims like the two who wrote this article, standing up against the Islamic onslaught. It is tragic that Mayor Bloomberg (and now President Obama, in spite of what he denies) have not come out against this proposed mosque. It is tragic that there are so many people in the United States who seem completely unaware of the agenda of Islam.

Raza and Fatah close their article with these words:

Unfortunately for us, (Bloomberg’s, and the media’s) stand is based on ignorance and guilt, and they will never in their lives have to face the tyranny of Islamism that targets, kills and maims Muslims worldwide, and is using liberalism itself to destroy liberal secular democratic societies from within.” [4]

People live in the United States and seem unaffected by the encroachment of Islam. If we are not careful, we will wake up to the fact that Islam has taken over without our consent and we will wonder how it happened?

It happened because we were not paying attention. It happened because this country elected its first Muslim president, who has ties with ACORN, and no valid birth certificate. It happened because people do not care. It happened because people do not believe that the United States will ever fall.

Folks, do you remember the Roman Empire? It was the largest empire of its day and no one ever thought it would crumble to the ground. The Romans became complacent, believing their own press that Rome was impregnable. They became lazy. They became gluttonous. They became immoral. Soon, they stopped watching for the enemy because they “knew” no one would be stupid enough to try to overthrow Rome.

Yet, little by little, Germanic tribes from the north like the Visigoths and the Vandals, began to eat away at Rome piece by piece. Rome seemed unconcerned. One day, Rome fell because it had been taken apart by nomadic invaders from the outside, and laziness and slothfulness from within.

Rome fell to the total shock of all Romans. The exact same thing is happening here in America and people are acting the same way today that Romans did then. Islamists are on the march. They have their marching orders and they have much to gain. Like the turtle and the hare, the Islamist is willing to work slowly, consistently taking a little here, a bit more there. He is willing to work quietly and patiently from WITHIN America, using her own laws to destroy her. He is counting on liberal-minded bleeding hearts that will pander to the Muslim mentality.

One day, if we are not careful, our country will collapse from within due not only to the pressure from the outside, but the pressure foisted upon us from the inside. Things are set in motion and are moving to that time when it will be too late to do anything about it.

I believe that this country has been blessed over the years because of our support of Israel. Because the United States has been there for Israel repeatedly, God has blessed us. Now, we see the results of a Muslim president, who has no concern for Israel. Actually, to be truthful, he has no concern for anyone other than himself. He sees Israel as a child, needing rebuke and chastisement.

If – as authentic Christians – we do not stand against this Islamic onslaught in prayer, then we cannot escape our guilt. We cannot sit there, or stand by while this world goes to hell in a hand basket. What would do if we were alive during the Holocaust? Would we mind our own business, or would we do everything we could to preserve the life of Jews who were being unceremoniously exterminated by a mad man? Hopefully, we would do everything we could to change the course of history and save as many lives as possible.

We have the same situation before us. We have mad men attempting to take from us what God has bestowed upon us. We have an administration that cares nothing for Israel – God’s people. He cares only for his purposes, and if left to follow those purposes to their end, he will destroy this country.

What concerns me more than his efforts to destroy this country are his efforts to destroy the nation of Israel. Obama’s favor rests with the Arabs and Islam. He is in the office of president to throw his weight around. He cares nothing for the American person. He cares nothing for this country. He cares only for Islam and how he will look to Muslims everywhere, especially those Muslims who live for violence and oppression.

President Obama wants to be seen as a hero to the Muslim world, and he is using his position as President of the United States as his bully pulpit. Do you see that? Do you recognize that as far as Obama president, it is as if he is president of the Islamic world, not the President of the United States.

In a nutshell, as far as I can tell, this is how President Obama sees himself. Think about it. He takes his precious time to do anything about the Gulf Oil Spill, but quickly (through Hilary Clinton) promises over 300 million dollars to the Gaza Strip to help rebuild after Israel defends itself against them. He promises millions for other overseas projects that have nothing to do with America.

Obama weighs in on the Ground Zero mosque (after stating he would remain silent on the issue – apparently, his narcissism got the best of him), coming out in full support of it, but then backpedals after public pressure. He ends up pretending he only meant to say that Muslims have a right to practice their religion just as anyone else has a right to do so. Uh…right.

So, the bottom line is that we have a president who is in effect, President of the United States in name and position only. Even his health care situation is a debacle. To put it into effect will cost taxpayers millions. Did you know that Muslims will not have to pay for it because it is considered gambling? They will be GIVEN health care and you and I and millions of other hard working Americans will pay for THEIR free health care.

Everything Obama does is done for the benefit of Muslims and the Islamic world. In my heart, I believe Obama is simply using his position to gain the hearts of Muslims. Eventually, I believe he hopes to use the presidency as a bridge to the Muslim world, one in which he will sell all non-Muslim Americans down the river.

Do you want to be part of that? More importantly, do you believe God wants you to be part of that? I do not. It is time to pray, pray, and pray some more. We must be diligent in praying to our God and our Savior that His perfect will is to be accomplished.

I see a day coming when Obama will walk out of the Oval Office for the last time, because he has been too transparent in his goals for the Muslim world. I would hate to get to heaven only to realize that I never prayed enough, that I never sought God’s face enough, that I never submitted myself to Him enough, and that my life had huge holes that did not glorify Him enough.

Folks, let’s pray.
