President Obama Ignores Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution

Is Obama ignoring the Constitution for his own gain?

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”

The above statement is Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution.  It essentially declares that the Federal Government WILL protect EVERY state in the United States against invasion and against domestic violence.

Can you think of any state in the United States that has and continues to undergo some type of foreign invasion?  I can think of a number of them, but let’s just deal with Arizona for a moment.  Would it be fair to say that the invasion of illegal aliens from Mexico is an affront to the United States sovereignty?  Would it be fair to say that the Federal Government has not kept its part of the bargain, which guarantees protection against such invasion?

It seems clear that the Federal Government does nothing and wants to continue that practice.  While they have broken and continue to break the law of the Land, the Obama Administration (aka Team Obama) have gone way beyond that.  They are actively suing a state that is trying to do what the Federal Government will not do.  In essence then, while the state of Arizona is legally attempting to mitigate the flow of illegal aliens into their state, the Federal Government is suing them to halt the process.  Yet the Federal Government has no inclination of doing their job to protect individual states from the constant invasion of illegal aliens.

What we have is a Federal Government that refuses to do what the U.S. Constitution promises that it will do, on behalf of any state in the union experiencing invasion.

State Senator Russell Pearce writes, “In reality, SB 1070 [Arizona’s immigration law] is a warning to illegal aliens and their allies in the federal government to respect our laws.  Americans have reason to celebrate.  As of July 29, sanctuary and ‘catch and release’ policies in this state are illegal under state law.  Citizens can also sue the government for failuree to enforce laws and that will mean up to $5,000 per day for any policy that restricts or limits the enforcement of federal statutes to the full extent permitted by law.  State officials are required to report illegal aliens.  There are increased penalties for hiring illegal day laborers.  SB 1070 is already working.  CNN reports that even though SB 1070 ‘now heads for higher courts…some of the estimated 500,000 undocumented immigrants in Arizona are leaving the state’.” [1]

Pearce continues, “Most Americans know that illegal immigrants are, well, illegal.  Barack Obama does not.  The basis of the Justice Department’s complaint is not that SB 1070 interferes with federal immigration law, but rather that it interferes with the Obama Administration’s ‘discretion in enforcing the provisions of the federal immigration laws.’  That means favoring Obama’s priorities of non-enforcement over [the state of Arizona’s] of enforcement.” [2]

I find it unconscionable that the “Justice Department” of the United States agreed with President Obama even before anyone (including Eric Holder), had read the SB 1070 law.  They simply came to the conclusion that the law was unconstitutional, when it is clearly not.  Nonetheless, this is simply one more proof that President Obama really has nothing good for this country up his sleeve.  He is doing his level best to dismantle it, so that it can be swallowed up into the coming one-world government.

Sadly, Pearce shares with us the loss of a dear friend of his, to illegal aliens.  “During the debate over SB 1070, my friend and fifth-generation Arizona rancher Rob Krentz was murdered by illegal alien drug dealers.  Days after the law passed, a police officer was shot by other illegal alien drug smugglers.  I have a son who is a deputy sheriff and who was shot and critically wounded while serving homicide warrants on illegal alien suspects.” [3]

Everyone – except the liberal media, bleeding heart Americans, and Team Obama – understand the type of stress and strain illegal aliens place on this country yearly.  Because the majority of illegal aliens come from Mexico, Hispanic groups fear that the backlash against all Hispanics will become real.  To that end, Latino celebrities and others are banding together in an apparent attempt to shame Arizona into removing its law.  Cries of racism abound.  Of course, it does not seem to matter (and these same celebrities and others) have seemingly NO concern for the innocent victims of crime perpetrated by illegal aliens.  I have yet to hear one celebrity come out expressing condolences for the loss of life by illegal aliens.  I simply have not heard of anyone saying anything.  It is always about race.  It is always about protecting Hispanics, even if they are here illegally.  That my friends, is racism in reverse.  It is holding up one particular group of people and saying that they should receive special privileges in spite of the fact that they may be here illegally.

In other words, they are saying that all illegal Hispanics, Latinos, or people of color should NOT be punished because of the acts of some.  Notice though how even though it is admitted that they are all illegals (which is a crime in the United States, in case the Federal Government is reading this), they say that it does not matter because there is a chance that an innocent illegal alien will be caught up in the mess.  Moreover, to really make their flimsy case work, they of necessity, must include Hispanics, Latinos, and people of color who are here in the United States legally, as if law enforcement officials are simply going to go from house to house, or car to car, rounding up anyone who even looks Hispanic to usher them either to jail, or out of the country.  This is a fallacy that plays well in the liberal media, but has no basis in fact whatsoever.

We currently have small groups of Hispanics in Arizona showing their displeasure for SB 1070 by desecrating both the United States and Arizona flags.  They place them on the ground, spray paint their messages on them, then walk all over the flags.  They are not arrested and do you know why?  Because desecrating the U.S. flag is a federal crime and it is up to the Feds to come in and arrest people who treat our flag with such disrespect.  Maybe I’ve missed it, but I have not seen Federal law enforcement agents rushing to Arizona, arresting those who trample the flag of this country.  Certainly, there has not been a peep from Team Obama.

Sen. Russell Pearce indicates, “Because of their siding with lawbreakers and undermining the democratic will of the American people, I’m tempted to call Obama and his lackeys ‘domestic enemies.’ At the very least, he is more concerned about what America’s enemies think about SB 1070 than the American people.  Obama’s deputy secretary of State issued an affidavit against SB 1070.  Among his justifications for opposition was Venezuela’s outrageous accusation that the law ‘could lead to the legitimization of racist attitudes and the latent risk of violence.’ That’s right, Obama’s State Department is using slander by anti-American Socialistic dictator Hugo Chavez as an excuse to overturn the democratic process in Arizona.” [4]

There are too many individuals in this country who wrongly believe that Obama is doing nothing wrong, and that he is not taking this country apart, in spite of all the facts to the contrary.  They have either buried their heads in the sand, or they are simply lying to themselves and others.  If it is the latter, then it is also clear that they also join with Obama in dismantling the United States of America.

I believe as a U.S. citizen (naturally born here), and an authentic Christian, I have a right and responsibility to tell people about this information.  I believe it is incumbent upon me and others like me to seek the Lord’s will in this matter and to do what He would have us do, in spite of the odds against winning.  Even though we know that we are moving toward the Tribulation and a time of the worst nightmare that has ever or will ever be visited on this earth, we have an obligation to not remain idle, sitting by while the world is on a crash course to God’s judgment.

That would be like watching a group of individuals beat another group of individuals mercilessly.  How could you, as a Christian, stand by and do nothing while people get the snot knocked out of them?  Even if you could not win the situation, would you not at least call 911?  Of course you would and many of you are in the position to do far more than simply making a phone call.  We would not sit back and say, “Oh well, this is the Lord’s will that those people get the snot kicked out of them.  It is His plan.  Praise God for His plan that those people are being beaten to death!  Amen, Lord.”  What kind of garbage is that?

We are here to be a light to the world.  If it means stepping in to fight for the innocent, then we are obligated to do just that.  If it happens that it is our country that is affected, we cannot back off simply because it is a country we are concerned about.  It is still the people we are concerned about and we need to do things that would please Jesus.

Do you recall the time in the gospels when a group of crazed legalists wanted to stone the woman caught in adultery?  For those who are either unfamiliar with it, or don’t remember much of it, here is the text:

“1Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

6This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

That text is taken from John 8:1-11 (KJV).  Look at the text.  This woman was close to losing her life because of her sin.  These same legalists also decided to use the situation to put Jesus in a spot.  Was He going to support the Mosaic Law or not?

Jesus says nothing.  He bends over and starts doodling in the dirt.  Actually, the text says that He “wrote on the ground.”  The implication here is that Jesus was actually writing something, not merely making trails in the dirt to avoid answering the question.  What was He writing?  No one knows for sure, but there is a good chance that He was writing OTHER parts of the Mosaic Law that emphasized God’s grace and mercy.  I’m also quite certain that Jesus was praying both for the situation and the woman.  He needed wisdom and that wisdom comes from God.  He needed to know what to do here, how to carry out God’s will in the matter, while bringing glory to God, and justice to the situation.

Of course, these zealots seemed to take no notice of it, as they kept asking Him what He would do with the woman.  So the text says that Jesus stood up (lifted himself) and said, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” In spite of the fact that they were tempting Him with their questions (v. 6), which tells you a great deal about these men, Jesus placed it back on the men.  He said, “Look, you’re right, she has sinned and deserves death.  Okay, so whoever is without sin among you feel free to throw the first stone at her, all right?

After every man present had left because of their own guilty consciences, Jesus refused to condemn the woman either.  The fact remains that Jesus actually went to bat for this woman.  He stood up for her, protecting her from her accusers.  We are to do the same thing.  Was the woman a “believer” in Jesus?  Not at that point, but she did become one.

You know, it is one thing to preach about salvation, or God’s love, or His forgiveness.  That in and of itself is extremely valuable because it is God’s message to humanity.  There may be times though when we will have to do more than simply preach it, or pray it.  There will be times when we actually have to get up, move our rear ends, and help someone physically, placing ourselves in between them and their accusers.  Can we do that?  Can we call evil, evil?  Can we look it square in the face without flinching?  Can we do what we know to be right, even though we KNOW that this world is headed toward judgment?

When God sends judgment, it is never for the authentic Christian.  Never.  It is always for the unsaved.  He will often place authentic Christians right near the person being judged so that they will see and/or hear the remedy for their situation.  God chastises those who are His and He does so because He loves us immensely.

I believe that through our current administration, we – authentic Christians – are being chastised.  We are being told to wake up.  We are being warned that we need to become more active because the time is very short.  There are people who still need to be pulled from the fire.  We cannot take on the laissez faire attitude that says, “what will be will be.”  We must right wrongs wherever we see them.  We must address issues, through prayer, through word, and through practice wherever possible.

Team Obama wants to take this country apart.  Why are we allowing it?  Is it because God’s will is being done?  Is it because we think one person cannot make a difference?  By going along with the changes we see, we actually wind up condoning those changes.  I do not want to stand before God having to answer the question, “Why didn’t you do anything?  Why didn’t you pray to Me for wisdom?  Why did you simply allow things to happen as they did without objection?” What possible answer could I have, other than “Uh…I thought it was your will, Lord.” That is not good enough.  That attitude keeps people from being involved in anything.

I realize that the highest calling all Christians have is the Great Commission.  That is a given.  However, we do not know how much more of the Great Commission we will be able to carry out by standing against some of the things in our society that are anti-God and anti-Christian.  I want to emphasize again, that I am not saying that we need to form another Moral Majority.  I am saying we need to put our knees to the ground and our head toward heaven and ask God what He wants us to do.

At the very least, we can pray.  It bothers me tremendously that we have a Muslim in the White House who is so cavalier about Christianity and God Himself!  That bothers me, not necessarily because of what may occur and is occurring with and in this country (though that disgusts me).  It bothers me because this country has a leader who is publicly anti-God of the Bible!  Folks, there is NOTHING good that can come from that at all.  Nothing.  We have an obligation to pray for our leaders according to Paul.  Fine, then let’s pray for him.  We can pray that God will force his resignation.  We can pray that God will use the American people to put so much pressure on Team Obama that he will feel he only has two choices, 1) to do the will of the people, or 2) to resign.

God has every right to say “no” to my requests and that is perfectly fine.  I will have lost nothing by asking Him, and in fact, as the old adage goes, if you never ask, you will never hear ‘yes.’  However, I will be held accountable if I do NOT pray and if I do NOT seek His face in this matter.  In other words, if I continue to allow things to go as they are and do nothing, then I will be accountable for my inaction.

If you are not praying that God’s will be done in this country, why not?  If you are not bothered by Team Obama’s resolute refusal to do what is right, why not?  If you are not disturbed by this country’s downturn, then why not?  I do not believe that God is by any means finished with America.  I do not believe that God means for America to fall by the wayside, or to be cast down through judgment.  It can happen, if authentic Christians do nothing.  That should not be our response.

Let me end by referring us to Jonah.  We know the story.  God told him to go to Nineveh and preach.  Jonah said, “No, I don’t want to go,” and to emphasize his point, he ran away, jumped on a ship, and tried to get away from God.  Fat chance.  God sent a huge fish, Jonah went overboard and into the belly of the fish and sat there for three days.  I realize people have a problem with this story, but I could care less.  The fact that Jesus referred to it, obviously seeing it as truth, is enough for me to know that it did occur, and that it was not merely allegorical, or imaginary (cf. Matthew 12:40).

God gets hold of Jonah, and Jonah finally does what God told him to do.  Guess what?  The people of Jonah, starting with their ruler, repented and turned to God.  Eventually, many years later, Nineveh was actually judged by God because they went back to their old ways.  However, there was real repentance during Jonah’s day.

Now, it may well be that this road America is on is set in stone by God.  That may be the case.  It also may be that God wants His children to do right from the start what Jonah recoiled from doing.  It may be that God – through the prayers of His people – will rectify some of the things that are going wrong in this country.  If that happens, there will likely STILL come a day when America says a big “NO!” to God.  We do not know if that time is now though.  Too many of us are assuming it is, so we are content to just let things go and “look up.”  If you know something I don’t, and God has given you a “word” that this is it for America and you can prove it to me, please let me know.

It may be the Rapture and/or the Tribulation is right around the next corner, or neither will occur for many years yet.  We cannot live our lives depending on an event that is slated to occur (but with no particular timetable) when we do not know when it will occur.  We must live to please the Lord.  I do not think He is pleased with children who sit around doing nothing, going on their merry way, whistling a tune, while the world burns.

If there is nothing else you can do, you can pray.  Please, for the sake of His Name, pray.

President Obama’s White House Ramadan Celebration Cashing in on Jesus

The Obama administration should be focusing on how to ease the process for workers to come to this country legally on work visas. If they are such bleeding hearts, this alone would alleviate a huge part of the problem, allowing Mexican nationals to come here to work temporarily to improve their lives and support their families. I haven’t heard any word in the media about actually DOING anything that would alleviate the problem!
