Obama Continues Whining and Blaming as He Overspends

"I stand before you to say that even though the Democrats have enjoyed a majority in Congress, it's those DANG Republicans that keep me from helping you people! Just remember that lie...I mean, just remember that in November!"

In the latest move by the Obama Administration, he is now doing two things:

1. promising to spend in excess of 50 BILLION dollars to put Americans back to work rebuilding roads, railways, and runways, and
2. continuing to blame Republicans because Americans are out of work

Two problems immediately come to mind:

1. where is Obama going to GET 50 Billion dollars unless he taps into your 401k retirement account?
2. how are the Republicans to blame for the Bush years since most of the time he was in office, the Democrats clearly controlled Congress?

I’m starting to think that President Obama has not only lost touch with the reality of our economic situation, but I’m also convinced that he continues to think the average American is a moron.

Lest we forget, the “New Deal” was something that came from F.D.R’s presidential years from 1933 to 1938, and it was designed to bring America out of the Great Depression.  It addressed the three “R”s:

• relief
• recovery
• reform

So, on one hand, is Obama finally coming around to admitting that we are in another “depression”? On the other hand, unions, high wages, and other things that are distinctive of today’s economy did not exist as they do today.

During the period immediately following the Great Depression, men were too proud to simply accept a hand out from the government.  They wanted to actually work for their pay, something that is sorely lacking in segments of our society today.

Because of this desire of the average American to want to go back to work, the government stepped in and created these programs where a minimum wage would be paid to people to pick up trash, paint park benches, and other jobs like that.

In today’s economy, because of unions (and I am NOT opposed to unions, having been a member of several unions over the years), along with high-paid wages and benefits paid to most people, it does not seem practical for our government to step in and try to do the same thing F.D.R. did back in the 1930s.

The reality is that Obama’s announced program may be way too little, way too late.  He has already spent more money than our government seems to have on pet projects in Palestinian areas of the Middle East.

It took Obama a long time to seem to even realize that there was an oil spill in the Gulf.  Then when he finally got on it, it seemed his answer was to (allegedly) blackmail BP with a “put millions of dollars on the table and then clean it up” ultimatum.  Of course, it was stated that this money would go to those affected by the oil spill.  How much has actually been used for that purpose is not known.  However, the reality is that it seems that anytime our government gets hold of money, much of seems to get lost in red tape and “administration costs.”  It’s kind of like the ads you see on TV for those ambulance-chasing lawyers who want to gather the necessary clients so that they can create a class-action lawsuit against some pharmaceutical company.  The problem with that is that the victims get paid after lawyers take their share and sometimes, that is not much.

I have received numerous class-action lawsuits telling me that if I used a particular credit card during a specific period of time, or shopped at a certain store, then I may be entitled to benefits through legal action.  In some cases, it was hilarious because depending upon the number of “victims,” amount of money each person would receive might be five bucks!  However, do you believe that the lawyers receive such a paltry amount?  Of course not.

In essence though, with this latest announcement by Obama (today in Milwaukee) hinges upon a number of things and of course one of them is whether or not both sides of Congress can agree.  “GOP leaders instantly assailed Obama’s proposal as an ineffective one that would simply raise already excessive federal spending. Many congressional Democrats are also likely to be reluctant to boost expenditures and increase federal deficits just weeks before elections that will determine control of Congress.” [1]

With these words, the Administration and Democrats will continue to harp on Republicans for their seeming unwillingness to throw in their support for Obama’s new spending plan.  Please note that many Democrats (in the quote above) may also be very hesitant to agree to spend more money, which would increase the debt further.

Which brings us to the question…is this proposal of Obama’s sincere?  Does he realize that his latest plan will not fly in Congress, so he is safe in offering it because when it does not pass, he will then (again) be able to blame Republicans?

Those from Obama’s Administration note that “Administration officials said that even if Congress quickly approved the program, it would not produce jobs until sometime next year. That means the proposal’s only pre-election impact may be a political one as the White House tries to demonstrate to voters that it is working to boost the economy and create jobs.” [2]

Obama’s condemnation of Republicans seems to know no bounds, but I cannot help but think that the following words of a desperate man.

At a Labor Day speech in Milwaukee, Obama said Republicans are betting that between now and the Nov. 2 elections, Americans will forget the Republican economic policies that led to the recession. He said Republicans have opposed virtually everything he has done to help the economy, and have proposed solutions that have only made the problem worse.

Wow, so in one swell swoop, though Congress is a Democratic majority, apparently, Republicans have much more power than they realize!  The above statements are also untruths because of what they imply.

What has Obama done to help improve the economy?  He has created a health care program that some believe will cost TRILLIONS of dollars to put into effect.  He has taken his time to do anything with respect to the BP oil spill/leak, which destroyed coastlines and jobs for those dependent upon the Gulf for their livelihood.  He has spent millions on projects outside this country.  He is spending taxpayer dollars to sue Arizona.

What has Obama done to HELP this country’s economy?  He has spent billions and billions of dollars without conscience all because of his ideas, his desires, his wants, and his direction.  In essence, he has raped the economy of this land!

In spite of ANY opposition he may have experienced for any of the things he wanted to bring to fruition, what did he NOT get passed?  How was the opposition SO strong that some of his policies were defeated?

It does not matter that there was opposition to him, because that opposition did not prevail.  President Obama got his way repeatedly, yet he STILL spreads the lie that Republicans kept him from “helping” this economy.  It is incredible to me that people buy into this lie so often repeated.

The United States government is running out of money (if it has not done so already).  Hillary Clinton enjoyed pointing out that when Bill left the White House, there was no national debt.  This is true, but then again, Clinton did not have to deal with 9/11 either.

We can look at charts and figures, but they only tell half the story.  WHY was money spent during the Bush years?  WHY is money being spent during Obama’s days in the White House?

Where is the 50 billion dollars going to come from to pay people AND materials for the upgrades to roads, railways, and runways?  It would be nice if our government had it.

It would also have been nice if the Republicans HAD been strong enough to keep the health care package from passing, but it was not so.  No matter what President Obama would like to say and where he would like to place blame, the reality is that since Obama’s inauguration, he has had a majority of Democrats and liberals in Congress to just about rubber stamp his programs.

Stop lying, President Obama, or your nose will start to grow any moment now.  The truth is that you are a terrible administrator over this country.  The truth is that you have no interest in helping the average American.  The truth is that your pet (Muslim) projects mean far more to you than anything else.  Everything else – economy, etc. – is simply an annoying distraction.

Folks, this world is controlled by Satan, under God’s permissive will.  Because Satan’s sentence has not been carried out (which was announced at the cross of Christ through His victory), Satan is still the prince of the power of the air (cf. Ephesians 2:2).

Because this is the domain of Satan for a little while longer, he rules, yet God has final say.  Because authentic Christians LIVE in Satan’s domain, it is our responsibility to make sure we PRAY, asking God to bring His perfect will to fruition.

Because this planet is under the immediate control of Satan, authentic Christians MUST request of God to enter into this realm, bringing His will to pass.  We have that responsibility and we too often ignore it!

Why did Jesus pray so much?  Why did Jesus pray what He prayed in John 17?  Why did Paul pray “all the time without ceasing”?  Why is prayer so important?

Prayer is important because it is asking God to intervene in Satan’s domain in order that God will overthrow the dark lord with His (God’) perfect will.

If we do not pray, some things will not happen.  While the final outcome is clearly foretold in the Bible, authentic Christians MUST be ACTIVE in prayer.

Satan wants to devour you and me.  He wants to sift us as wheat.  Jesus prayed for Peter so that would not happen.  Did He need to pray?  Apparently, so He did.

Satan wants to infiltrate the church you attend!  He will do it and if you do NOT pray that God will protect you, your church, your pastor, then Satan will have his way.  It has happened repeatedly.  Pastors have been brought down through sin.  Churches have split and some even closed.

Satan is actively working against God and against Christ’s Bride.  We live in this world and are expected to be emissaries for Christ.  This means entering into the war that wages in the spiritual realm.  That is done through PRAYER!

Pray for the upcoming November elections.  Pray for your family daily.  Pray for those you know who are unsaved.  Pray that God will give you tremendous discernment.  Wisdom without discernment is NOTHING.  It is worthless because it is only knowledge.  Wisdom is only valuable when it is coupled with discernment.

We must storm the gates of heaven allowing nothing to keep God from responding to us.

In the book of Daniel, the angel Gabriel appears to Daniel on numerous occasions.  In chapter 10, we are privy to a behind the scenes look into the spiritual realm.  We learn that Gabriel was kept at bay for 21 days (cf. Daniel 9:12-13), by a fallen spirit called the Prince of Persia.  Obviously, this “prince” was stronger than Gabriel and it was not until Michael the Archangel came to help that Gabriel could go on his way to Daniel with the message from God.

What is it you always hear regarding the reason why it took three weeks for Gabriel to arrive to Daniel?  I’ve normally heard “so that Daniel would learn patience.”  We hear that and think, “Oh, sounds reasonable” and then drop it and move on.

I believe there was another reason, the main reason, that Gabriel was kept from reaching Daniel for 21 days and it had everything to do with the fact that Satan is the prince of the power of the air.  He controls what comes in and what goes out.

When we pray, we MUST be consistent.  We cannot simply pray once and think, “Okay, I’m done with that request.  What’s next?”

We must be diligent in our prayers, to continually lift our requests to God.  This does not mean that we DOUBT that He will respond.  It actually means that we do NOT doubt it.  We understand that there are plenty of powers, principalities, rulers of this dark world who do not simply get out of the way when they see Gabriel or another angel heading their way.

These dark powers are relentless in their attacks on God’s angels.  Though they never win, they CAN cause things to become delayed.  God knows and allows this, but remember, this world for the time being, belongs to Satan to control.  Yes, God defeated Satan at the cross, but Satan has not begun serving his sentence!  Though he was sentenced at Calvary, he has not yet been incarcerated in the pit.

Satan roams this planet seeking whom he will devour.  He does not rest.  He continues his warfare against God and His saints.  Prayer is the most important weapon we have against the wiles of the devil.

We need discernment.  We need to become consistent and just as relentless in our prayers and requests to God as Satan and his cohorts are in their oppression of God’s people!

I have decided that when I go to church from now on, I am going spend my time listening with one ear to the sermon and praying that entire time to bind the powers of darkness.  If Satan has a foothold in the church I attend, I want him GONE.  Only prayer can do that and it may take time.  We must fight and prayer is our greatest weapon besides the Word of God itself.

President Obama is destroying this country.  He is blaming his arrogance, overspending, and poor decision-making on Republicans who had no ability to block his policies due to their minority numbers.

We CAN and SHOULD pray him out of office.  It is our responsibility as Christians.  We should also be praying for the lost of this world.  You must know people who do not know Jesus Christ.  Are you praying for them relentlessly.  Up until recently, I realize I have NOT been doing that.

We must use the weapon of prayer, asking God to overcome the powers of darkness in our lives, our church, and to free those held captive in the spiritual realm of the god of this age!
