Obama’s Longform Birth Certificate…Finally
April 27, 2011 at 10:40 AM 13 comments
This is rich. Roughly two years after the subject was first broached by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton while making her run for office, the president of the United States has finally decided that he does in fact, have a long form birth certificate and has also finally decided that it would be best to show it to the world.
In a statement issued by spokesperson Dan Pfeiffer at the White House, the president stated “At a time of great consequence for this country – when we should be debating how we win the future, reduce our deficit, deal with high gas prices, and bring stability to the Middle East, Washington, DC, was once again distracted by a fake issue. The President’s hope is that with this step, we can move on to debating the bigger issues that matter to the American people and the future of the country.”
I think it’s remarkable that Mr. Obama is taking the time out to blame others for what he could have responded to months and months ago. It’s almost as if he wanted the attention and focus to shift from what he was doing to the birth certificate issue.
At one point in his response, he called it silliness and other things and believed that the apparent distraction over the birth certificate issue was not good for this country. Then why didn’t he move to silence the rumors THEN, instead of waiting this long? One answer: politics.
Did the president really believe that by simply ignoring the issue, it would go away? He’s not stupid. There are too many things swirling around the entire issue; too many questions that needed responses.
Barack Obama was not born away from the United States on a U.S. military base, which (like McCain) would have made him a natural-born citizen of the United States. His real father was born and remained in Kenya. There were questions swirling around his mother, and according to the U.S. Constitution, if Barack’s FATHER was not born in the United States, then he (Obama) would have needed to have been born here in order to qualify as a natural-born citizen in order to become president.
I can think of no other candidate in history in which this particular issue was so prominent. Had Mr. Obama opted to do what was right…from the beginning, he would have done everything possible to show his real birth certificate. He did not do that because it made him look like the martyr, the underdog, who was simply being attacked without mercy.
Unless proven otherwise, this long form birth certificate puts the issue to rest for me. It also allows me to move on and critique other things that Mr. Obama has actually done (or not) with respect to this country, foreign policy and the like.
I will state without equivocation that I have little to no respect for Mr. Obama for the following reasons:
- he waited too long to prove something he should have proven before he ran for the office of president
- he promised he would not raise taxes but Obamacare ignores that promise and he recently said he is considering it
- since gaining office, he has spent billions of dollars on his pet projects like rebuilding mosques or the Gaza Strip in other parts of the world in spite of the needs of those in this country
- he desperately wants to find a “legal” (read: avoid Congress) way to provide blanket amnesty to millions of illegal aliens (he calls them “guest immigrants) in order to increase the pool of legal voters who would vote for him
- he has circumvented illegally Congress on any number of occasions
- he has not gotten us out of the Iraqi war like he said he would
- he has gotten us into a new war (without Congressional approval); something he calls a “kinetic military action”
- he has lied on any number of occasions
- despite what he says, his actions prove that he is far more interested in converting the United States into a Socialist republic than a Democratic one
- he has consistently sided with terrorist organizations and gone to bat for them. Between he and Eric Holder, the word “justice” has become a joke
- while he blames Bush and the Republicans, it needs to be noted that the Republicans did NOT have a majority in either the House or Senate during the latter part of Bush’s term and into the first part of Obama’s
- Obama has played party politics since he came into office, refusing to work with or even listen to Republican lawmakers since at the time they were minorities in both the House and Senate. Since Republicans gained the majority in the House, Obama has stated he would listen to and work with them, but continues to blame them.
- he has consistently come out against Israel at every turn, while saying that he actually supports them.
This list just highlighted is very short. It really just scratches the surface and even without the birth certificate issue, there is plenty there to deal with and note.
When all is totaled up, it certainly appears that Mr. Obama is the president of the United States, but he is unlike any president before him. He seems far more interested in creating party politics and chaos in this country than in helping to actually solve problems.
Mr. Obama’s policies (such as they are; a moving plate of options) has put this country so far in debt, it is doubtful that we will be able to find a way out. This makes his comments regarding his birth certificate even more ironic. Yes, there are extremely important issues that need to be addressed in this country, and so far, he has not addressed them at all.
Even with the recent budget situation, the idea that he wants to eliminate a few million dollars or even a few billion over a period of 12 years is nothing. It does not even qualify to be a drop in the bucket, but most won’t notice because we generally do not think in terms of money that large. It’s not in our vocabulary or understanding. How does one differentiate between millions and billions? It does not equate.
It appears that with everything, Mr. Obama has done a great deal to devalue the dollar. If it continues, then China will surpass the United States in economy and value of currency. How can any sitting president be satisfied with that? How can any president pat himself on the back as if he has done a good job? That can only happen if said president is turning the country in a Socialist country.
I have stated long ago – repeatedly – that if only Mr. Obama would show his long form birth certificate, the question would be answered and we can move on…to critiquing his actions as president. The birth certificate issue has been a constant distraction; one that appears has worked for this administration because while many were focusing on that, he has tramped all over this country’s assets and worth. Many did not notice though because they were too busy focusing on the birth certificate issue.
For me, (and I have said this before), I am GLAD that the issue can be put to rest. Now maybe the liberal media will be forced to focus on the actions of Mr. Obama during his first year or so of being president. I’m thinking that at least for a while, the liberal media and talking heads like Chris Matthews will continue to drag the birth certificate issue out. They will enjoy pounding people over the head with it and will STILL refrain from discussing the real issues.
The birth certificate issue has been a bonanza for the liberal media. It has given them the ammunition (a figure of speech here; I am NOT talking about real bullets here; it is purely being used as a metaphor) they needed to avoid discussing issues. They have gladly spent their time making fun of Tea Party members and others who have focused solely on the birth issue. In one sense then, the liberal media has been as bad as those who only focused on that issue. The liberal media, rather than ignoring the birth certificate issue has played it up larger than the conservative side in many ways. It has allowed them the opportunity to seem as if they are merely responding to the charges, when in point of fact, they have been leading the charge.
Proof of this will be seen in how long the liberal media continues to debate the issue, talk it to death and generally, continue to use this long form certificate as a weapon (metaphor again) to pound the heads of those who believed there was a legitimate question.
Mr. Obama’s timing is impeccable in some ways. Rather than put the issue to rest in the beginning as he should have, he allowed it to continue unabated for months. This gave him the needed cover to ram things through Congress, or find a way to avoid going through Congress while people were preoccupied with the birth issue (both the right AND the left).
Now, just as he has begun to run for re-election, he has put this issue to rest. He can now focus on the spin he will apply to everything he has allegedly done in office that people will see as good. Once he has that momentum building (with the obligatory liberal left media worshiping everything he says and does), he will use his own form of propaganda to create a perception that he has done more good than bad. Most people will not be able to keep up with the rhetoric and will simply take his word for it. The leftwing media will act as his enforcers, crediting Mr. Obama with things he either has not done, or exaggerating the good things he has accomplished (I’m trying to remember what those are…).
Stay tuned, folks. The birth certificate issue has finally been put to rest and all I can ask is, What took Mr. Obama so long to do what he should have done months ago?

I just need a little clarification. What is the Mark of Cain? Some ppl say that it is being black. Who bears the Mark of Cain? I believe that the Bible is absolute and Obama has attacked it numerous time.
I agree with everything that you have said. Obama is nothing but a snakeoil salesman.
These articles are very intelligent. Keep up the good work.

Hi JS,
I’m not sure what the mark of Cain is, but it could simply have been some physical type of mark that God put directly on Cain to protect him from being murdered by others. I doubt seriously that it had anything to do with the color of his skin.
Thanks for your compliments on my articles.

Simon, you essentially called me a liar and suggested that I am a racist. All of a sudden your comments though are only related to Obama and his birth certificate? You obviously believe that he was born in the U.S. Good for you. If you read my post carefully, you would have noticed that I ALSO have put the issue to rest and stated as much. It seems fairly clear that you are merely going through my posts in an effort to derail my opinions.
Regarding Obama’s long form certificate, the experts are already going over it with a fine-tooth comb and several highly questionable things have already come up. The actual certificate’s registration number. The fact that it is in green, yet other certificates issued during that time (like mine) were issued in dark black (almost like a negative) from Hawaii. The hospital he is said to have been born in was not the name on his certificate until a number of years later. The use of the word “African” as opposed to “Negro” would have been the normal term used in the early 60s.
So do they have a point? Maybe they do and maybe they don’t. I am disgusted at the whole issue any longer. It makes no difference. IF this long form certificate IS fake, it doesn’t matter because no court is willing to hear arguments against it. It’s as if they are in collusion with the president.
If it turned out that a court WOULD hear the case and it was proven that his long form was forged, then the term racism would be thrown around that much more and if he was actually tossed out of office, Joe Biden would become president and he’s such a moron, I think he’d sell his own mother if it gave him greater political power. He’s a “yes” man and has no problem changing his spots whenever he feels it would benefit him.
The reality is that the birth certificate issue needs to be set aside so that we can focus on the illegal things that Obama is doing. People wanted to impeach Bush for alleged illegalities. No one cried “racism” because of it.
I’m not interested in discussing politics with you, Simon. You don’t even understand OUR Constitution and the actual meaning of natural-born citizen, which originated with British Parliamentary law and was adopted as is for the U.S. Constitution. The average American doesn’t know what natural-born citizen means. They think it merely means being born here. There’s more to it than that.

You know Simon, I have just about had enough of your sarcasm and your opinions. You are simply coming after everything I say because I chose to address issues with Seventh-day Adventism.
You’re miffed that I would deign to do what you consider to be attacking your personal religion. The truth of the matter is that you are protesting way too much. In fact, I’ve never experienced someone who protests as much as you do, which serves only to tell me that you yourself are not secure in your own beliefs because you are constantly defending them, or feel you need to do so.
Your complimentary language is empty at best and thrown in simply to make me believe somehow that you have respect for me though you essentially disagree with just about everything I have to say on any subject.
With Mr. Obama, as I mentioned, there are so many unanswered questions about him and the biggest one is not even the birth certificate issue. That unfortunately has taken center stage because people on both the left AND the right won’t let it go. The left won’t let it go now and I’m sure they’ll hang onto it for some time and ride it out as long as they can.
You say that Obama played it better than Trump, Palin, and the rest. I’ll remind you that Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton was the very first person to bring up the issue. Secondly, if Donald Trump had not been pushing for information, Obama never would have shown anything at all.
The question STILL remains: what took him so long to do what he should have done a year and a half ago? Answer: he was FORCED to do so by people who were getting really close to something. I think it’s remarkable that because of Trump’s pushing, lo and behold, the long form birth certificate that no one thought actually existed DOES exists. That is swell.
You are correct though on one point. At this point, there is virtually nothing that Mr. Obama could now do to regain any respect I once had for the man. Aside from being a charismatic speaker, my firm belief is that he has very little to offer that lines up with my conservative nature.
Oh, and before you decide you know exactly what my conservative nature is, think again. Better yet, keep it to yourself.
Now, if you want to argue, Simon, or castigate someone with whom you disagree, then I suggest you go somewhere else to do it. We BOTH know that if not for the SDA discussion, you wouldn’t even be here.
By the way, when you make sweeping generalizations about an entire political party, you do yourself a huge disservice. The entire Republican party is not involved in the birth issue at all. In fact, Speaker of the House Boener has stated that he believes Obama to be a natural-born citizen of the U.S., as have many other Republicans. In fact, it is ludicrous to make the kind of statement you made because it assumes that all Republicans think alike on every issue. They would do that no more than Democrats do.
Regarding the issue of Investigative Judgment, what I will be reporting on is what that particular theology (which is again, unique to SDA) teaches. Obviously, you and I are going to disagree on it simply because you are a dyed in the wool Seventh-day Adventist. I am a dyed in the wool Christian; follower of Jesus. I can easily change from one denomination to another one of similar nature because it is not my denomination that defines me. It is the fact that I am a Christian that defines me.
Mormons tell me they are Christians. Jehovah’s Witnesses tell me THEY are Christian. The problem is that if a person leaves either of those groups, they are no longer considered to be Christian. Mormonism or being a Jehovah’s Witness defines these folks.
I also think it’s fascinating at how many similarities there are between Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Seventh-day Adventism. You would either disagree or attempt to explain it away, but the truth remains that Charles Taze Russell was at one time connected with SDA and went off to start Jehovah’s Witnesses.
There are also many questions about White’s alleged plagiarism on many fronts. Beyond this, Seventh-day Adventism did not exist prior to 1844 when Jesus allegedly entered into the heavenly holy place in 1844 to finish making atonement for our sins. No such doctrine is taught in the Bible. Why was there NO teaching of the “investigative judgment” before 1844? Why isn’t this doctrine found in the Word of God? (These are rhetorical questions by the way, which I’m sure you have an answer for, but I’ve already heard it.)
Investigative Judgment is a theology that was revealed by White and others supported it so that it became basic to the teachings of SDA. When you come along and start questioning me about what I believe relative to prophets, etc., that has nothing to do with Investigative Judgment.
You’ll note that not everything posted on my blog here is related to SDA, or even theology or doctrine necessarily. I post my thoughts and comments on a variety of topics; religion, theology, doctrine, politics and many other things.
YOUR blog is solely about SDA theology (as far as I know) and it seems that your prime motivation for anything is how it relates to SDA.
My point is simple: I may not deal with Investigative Judgment for another week or so. I’ll get to it when I get to it.
The parameters for your responses are simple:
– Keep them brief
– Don’t cloud the issue by bringing in other aspects that are not related to the Investigative Judgment issue
– Don’t try to pepper me with compliments – I’m just not interested
– Don’t tell me what I believe or what I mean
– Stop asking me asinine questions that you already have an answer for
– Don’t insult my intelligence by telling me that you are not debating when you obviously ARE
– Think carefully before you post, then think AGAIN before you post
You have every right to say what you believe, but I am under no obligation to post it here. If I don’t, I am not infringing on your freedom of speech as you may or may not think.
I do not mean to sound harsh, Simon. The truth is that you could very likely discuss this until we enter eternity future. I just have other things on my plate and SDA is not that important to me in the long run. It’s simply a subject of interest right now.

Fred I agree Obama was playing politics in releasing his birth certificate just now, but he did so because others were trying to play him – he just did it better. Fox, Palin, Trump and pretty much the whole Republican Party have been playing politics on this issue for the last couple of years and now crying because they got played better. People in glass houses…
You say you no longer have respect for Obama because, amongst other things, “he waited too long to prove something he should have proven before he ran for the office of president”. Let’s be honest – you never had respect for him before and there is nothing he could have done or could do in the future to gain your respect – could he?
I could probably go through the rest of the list but you would tell me off for writing too much.
Always really love your posts though – truly (and I am not being sarcastic). I like to think you give a fairly well articulated view of mainstream, Evangelical ‘middle America’. Would you be happy with that characterisation or be offended by it?
God bless!

You’re wrong, Simon. Because there is so much misinformation about Obama – who paid for his college? is his name Barry Sotero or Barack Obama? Why did he promise to be more transparent than any other president and immediately close the door on his past using tax payer dollars through the Justice Dept to do it?
I DID have respect for Obama way back when he first began his campaign and in fact, was considering voting for him. Unfortunately, he NEVER stated what his real campaign was except Change is Coming! and that he would never raise taxes (something EVERY politican says regardless of party).
You do NOT love my posts, Simon. Let’s be honest, all right? You are simply here to argue and that’s all.” Any compliment that comes from you I take with a grain of salt because of your obvious ulterior motivation, I’m sorry to say. But that’s what you have created.

Wow, I barely posted this and you responded. Apparently, you have nothing better to do than search the Internet to see who’s commenting on the latest info on Obama’s birth certificate. What can I say, we Americans are a people who uphold the law of the land. Our land – unlike yours – is founded upon the principles of the U.S. Constitution, which is very clear about the qualifications to become president.
I note you’re from the UK, so either you’re a Muslim who appreciates the fact that the UK is turning into an Islamic country, or you’re a sympathizer and not at all bothered by the fact that the Sharia law is a growing menace in a relatively democratic society.
If you were opposed to Islam and Sharia law, I would surmise that you would have little time to be commenting on what is going on in other countries. So, I’ll tell ya what…mind your own business and deal with your own problems, instead of commenting on ours. Got it?
