Where Are the Real Moderate Muslims?

While we are constantly hearing things like we should not profile men of Muslim descent, along with the stated belief that Islam is a religion of peace, it would appear this is not the case in parts of the world previously known for their freedom and democracy.
Below are mug shots of nine Muslim men arrested for sex crimes. They are accused of “grooming” young girls – as many as 100 and as young as 8 (eight) to perform sex acts with other men for money. Of course, the Muslim men shown below were essentially pimps. They plied the girls with ice cream and treats before raping them and taking control of their lives through subjugation and forced enslavement.
As you can see by their beauty shots above, all men are quite attractive and filled to overflowing with the love of Islam. The men’s excuse for this criminal behavior is that the girls were dressed in a way that was “asking for it.”
Of course, the tragedy here (besides the obvious trauma to the lives of these young girls) is that I am not aware of any women’s groups coming out against these human demons. Instead, all I hear are the chirping of crickets.
It would extremely difficult for me – as an authentic Christian – to put this matter in God’s hands, allowing Him and Him only to take vengeance on these pieces of excrement, if anything like this happened to my daughter. By the way, I call them excrement because that is what they have allowed themselves to become, by following the pathetic and inhumane teachings of Islam.
Just recently, in a place that is within the borders of the United States, Dearborn, MI is fast becoming Dearbornistan, a place where no one who is not Muslim wants to be. During their annual Arab Festival, there are numerous videos showing just how loving Muslims can be. They are shown clearly assaulting videographers with spit, while “peace-keeping teams” nearby do absolutely nothing. No one was arrested for their assault and what is amazing about many of these radical Muslims, is that while they are trying to show that they are truly peace-loving, they seem to almost bend over backwards to go along with things outwardly, while doing everything they can behind the scenes to turn the tide to their favor.
Once they believe they have gained enough power, they have absolutely no hesitation in becoming violent when aroused. It’s what they do. For people who believe that those particular Muslims are somehow being mistreated, the reality is just the opposite. Yet, still, there are people in this world – in spite of everything that has transpired in Europe, Asia and elsewhere – who decry the treatment, the alleged racist and bigoted attitudes of “white” westerners.
It boggles my mind, though I suppose it shouldn’t. We have people like Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee who is on the committee regarding prison radicalization of Muslims, who is constantly spewing implications of racism because Rep. Peter King simply wants to do his job to determine how large the problem is in prisons with respect to the radicalization of prisoners toward Islam. The reality – as King so succinctly stated – is that prior to the fact that he became chairman of the committee, that same committee existed for FOUR years and not ONE time, were ANY hearings held on the type of groups that Jackson Lee and other Muslim sympathizers on the panel believe should be included.
As King so beautifully put it, “I would just remind the members of the minority for four years they controlled this committee and they could have had hearings on any of these issues at any other time if they wanted to. I never heard any mention of any of these groups at these hearings until we held our first hearing on Muslim radicalization. I wish you would have been as attentive during the previous four years.” [1]
What Islamic sympathizers like Jackson Lee do not realize (or care to think about) is that IF/WHEN radical Islam takes over, they are not going to treat her as if she is a hero. She will be treated like any other dhimmi (slave) under the Islamic system.
I firmly believe that if radical Muslims were white, Jackson Lee would have NO problem with the hearings at all.
When is the world going to wake up to the tremendous problem that is being created and escalated by Islam? My wife and I were on our way to the Bay Area today and passed a billboard that read: ISLAM – What You Need to Know. The assumption is that the world doesn’t know what Islam is truly about and more importantly, the additional assumption is that radical Muslims do not truly know what Islam is about.
The truth of the matter is that everything I need to know about Islam I can read in the very short book called The Qur’an. Muslims like those who put up the billboard might very well be peaceful, however, they are peaceful because they have chosen to allegorize The Qur’an. They do not take things literally and by literally, I am not saying literalistically. Peaceful Muslims – and unfortunately, who can really know? – derive meaning from the Qur’an that is based on metaphors and allegory. If the Qur’an makes a statement that is clearly anti-Semitic, or appears to be threatening to those outside of Islam, these types of Muslims see within that text, a meaning that goes beyond the text.
For instance, here is just one verse from the Qur’an that appears to say incite killing:
“Verse 5:51 “O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guides not a people unjust.
“Verse 5:82 “Strongest among men in enmity to the believers will you find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those who say, “We are Christians”: because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.”
According to peaceful Muslims, here is the intended meaning of these two verses.
“Believers in the Unity of God should not look towards those that do not believe in HIM, for help and comfort over their own fellowmen. They are more likely to combine together against rather than helping us. This happened more than once in the lifetime of the Prophet and is often repeated again and again in the after ages, whenever Muslims became weak as a community and fought amongst themselves. Most of these men usually align whichever way the wheels of fortune turns. Muslim community should be self sufficient in all matters of life, spiritually, financially and militarily. An optimum Islamic creed would be a helper, protector and a giver rather than a taker. The erstwhile Spain which gave protection to Jews when they were hunted throughout Europe or Jerusalem under Sultan Salahuddin, which gave protection to Christians, is what Muslim nations should strive for. It’s a pity that ground realities are different because most of the Muslims have ceased to walk on the path of Islam. The Muslims of Kuwait looked upon others as their protectors and their apathy is for all to see. The Muslims in Bosnia and kosova had no one to look upon and they got annihilated before NATO came in, too little too late. The Muslims of Palestine, have no friends in the world against Jews. It’s all the weakness of Muslims who ceased to be self sufficient that they are looked upon as barbarians and terrorists instead of the best of the people in manners and ideology. This verse shouldn’t be misunderstood as “Persecute all the Jews and the Christians, for as Muslims we cannot take them as friends.” [2]
This is merely one example and of course, the explanation given above seems reasonable. However, when we understand the context of Muhammad’s actual life, we learn that he himself had a great deal of enmity toward both Jews and Christians because they would not accept him as their Messiah!
By the way, the explanation above regarding the Caliphate in Spain that allegedly gave protection and help to Jews and Christians is simply not true. Anyone who has done even a cursory study of history during that time understands this fact. However, even if that was true, that situation does not exist now and it does not exist because of the demeanor, the beliefs, and the attitudes of radical Muslims, which has been and continues to be a growing threat within the world.
All that aside, the peaceful Muslim needs to stop wasting their time trying to “educate” or explain away the obvious meaning of the Qur’an. Even if they are correct, there are millions of radical Muslims who also do not understand the Qur’an the way the peaceful Muslim says it should be understood. It would appear then that the problem is not with the non-Muslim, but with the radical Muslim! To date, the so-called peaceful Muslim is doing little to nothing to try to educate others within Islam who understand the Qur’an literally.
I am certainly hoping and praying that tables are truly beginning to turn on the radical Muslim. The peaceful Muslim needs to open his eyes and understand that they are living in a fantasy. While they may thoroughly believe that their explanations of Qur’anic passages are the correct ones, labeling people who stand up against radical Islam as anti-Muslim or anti-Islamic does nothing but continue the problem.
Peaceful Muslims need to actually join the rest of the world against the radical Muslims. If these peaceful Muslims actually believe what they are preaching, then it does not one bit of good to preach it to people who are involved in the war of fighting radical Islam. That would be like people simply holding up signs saying that Hitler misunderstood the Bible and Luther and not all Germans think as Hitler did. Whoopee! Get out there and DO something to stop Jews from being slaughtered! If you are a peaceful (sometimes known as “moderate”) Muslim, you have an absolute responsibility to actually put your words into actions against radical Muslims. After all, both moderates and radicals are Islamic and Islam has essentially one book it considers to be holy. Obviously, someone’s wires are crossed because we have two groups reading the same book, yet one comes away with peaceful ideas, while the other comes away with murderous intentions.
If this kind of thing was occurring within Christianity, you can bet I would be putting my life on the line to not only let people know that the group with the murderous intentions are wrong, but I would do everything I could to stop them as well.
Peaceful Muslims are merely standing on the sidelines, and while their radical Muslim brothers are heaving urine-filled bottles at those who would dare to stand against radical Islamists, they are standing on the side saying things like, “There, see? That bottle of urine missed you! You should be thankful. If they wanted to hit you, you would have been hit!” How absurd is that? Yet, this is essentially what peaceful Muslims are doing.
The other problem though is that we are seeing a trend even among those who claim to be moderate Muslims. Recently, FOX News (you know, the network that “lies” all the time) confirmed that the Marine Reservist who was found with suspicious materials near the Pentagon is a MUSLIM. [3]
Apparently, Rep. Anthony Weiner’s wife has major connections to the Muslim Brotherhood! [4]
A judge in Pakistan recently ruled that pedophilia is better than Christianity. [5]
Jihad Watch has reported that a “Prominent moderate Muslim arrested for ‘willfully exporting’ to Libya ‘equipment controlled by the U.S. government for anti-terrorism reasons’.”[6]
Like the Journey song, this kind of thing goes on and on and on and on! The real harsh truth here is that even though we may know and even live near people who are allegedly moderate Muslims, how do we know that this is in fact, what they are? Could it be possible that they are faking it? Absolutely, and we see it daily throughout the world.
People – including actual moderate Muslims – need to decide who the enemy is and stand against that enemy. When I see actual moderate Muslims standing against their radical brothers, and when I see that these moderates are willing to be spit on, roughed up, and even beaten because of it, then I will be convinced that they are moderates. Until then, all they are doing is talking the talk. Like anything, it’s when people are willing to walk the walk that they set themselves apart from the crowd.
