What on Earth is this Administration Doing?

I was reading some information off the ‘Net the other day and learned that the Obama Administration has opened the door to begin talks with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood.  I was a bit flabbergasted, but I guess nothing should surprise me anymore.  After all, Mr. Obama plainly told the world either just before or just after he had been elected, that he was not opposed to talking with terrorists.  In essence, this is nothing but an overt attack against Israel’s sovereignty since it is clear that the Muslim Brotherhood has sworn to destroy Israel.

Hilary Clinton stated, “We believe, given the changing political landscape in Egypt, that it is in the interests of the United States to engage with all parties that are peaceful and committed to nonviolence, that intend to compete for the parliament and the presidency,” Clinton told reporters in Budapest, Hungary. “And we welcome, therefore, dialogue with those Muslim Brotherhood members who wish to talk with us,” [1]

Funny, but I don’t recall Mr. Obama asking the citizens of the United States or even Congress if this was a good idea.  In the end, it would not have mattered simply because Mr. Obama has repeatedly shown that he does what he wants to do and to heck with the rest of the United States (or Congress).  It’s just that simple.

But exactly who are the Muslim Brotherhood?  Here is their motto:  “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur`an is our law.  
Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. Allahu akbar!” [2]

This group who believes in violent jihad to accomplish its goals is now being wooed by the Obama Administration.  This group who routinely uses violence to intimidate others into caving into their demands is being told by Hilary Clinton that the U.S. “welcomes” a dialogue.

From my own study of the Muslim Brotherhood, it is clear that they have one goal; one objective:  it is to turn the entire world into an Islamic Caliphate.  They wish to rule the world with Islam as the ideology that guides it.  It is really that simple.

So with that in mind, I’m wondering why the United States – or any democratic nation for that matter – would be at all interested in talking with groups like this.  Does Mr. Obama actually believe any discussion or talks with Muslim Brotherhood will amount to anything good for the U.S.?  I’m more inclined to believe that because Mr. Obama has greater sympathies for Muslims, he wants to continue to do what he can to change the policies of this nation so that ultimately, the nation itself comes under the laws of Islam.

I am still perplexed at the amount of people who believe that Mr. Obama has been a great president, worthy of being re-elected.  This actually boggles my mind.  The only thing I can assume is that people have gotten used to having their outstretched empty hands filled with government entitlements.  Gee, who would want to give that up?

Here are some quotes worth considering regarding Muslim Brotherhood:

“The Brotherhood wants America to fall. It tells followers to be “patient” because America “is heading towards its demise.” The U.S. is an infidel that “does not champion moral and human values and cannot  lead humanity.”-Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi, Sept. 2010

“The Brotherhood claims western democracy is “corrupt,””unrealistic” and “false.” -Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef

“The Brotherhood calls for jihad against “the Muslim`s real enemies, not only Israel but also the United States. Waging jihad against both of these infidels is a commandment of Allah that cannot be disregarded.” -Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi, Sept. 2010

“The Brotherhood assassinated Anwar Sadat in 1981 for making peace with the hated “Zionist entity.” It also assassinated Egypt`s prime minister in 1948 and attempted to assassinate President Nasser in 1954.” [3; emphasis in original]

Bearing these things in mind, it appears that we are dealing with a group that wants America to fail completely.  Beyond this, they have sworn to be Israel’s eternal enemy.

Folks, if these talks go anywhere, we are simply inviting God’s judgment, more so than we have already done.  For our government to in any way, align itself with Muslim Brotherhood means that we are moving that much further away from any real ties to Israel.

Do you recall what I wrote about Israel in my previous post here?  I believe that a nation’s leaders set the tone for that nation.  Beyond this, those leaders either invite God’s blessing or curse, depending upon how they treat Israel.

It is clear from history, that going back at least to the Clinton Administration, leaders of Israel were given cold shoulders by our leaders.  It hasn’t gotten much better.

Now, Mr. Obama is really showing the world that he has decided this nation would be better off aligning itself with the Muslim Brotherhood, which means that ultimately, we set the entire U.S. Constitution aside as well as any semblance of loyalty toward Israel we have exercised.

The deceptive nature of Muslim Brotherhood is obvious to anyone who has studied them at all.  Here are some more facts for your consideration:

“The Brotherhood advocates a deceptive strategy in democracies: appear moderate and use existing institutions to gain power. “The civilizational-jihadist process…is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and `sabotaging` its miserable house…so that it is eliminated and God`s religion is made victorious overall other religions,” reads a US Muslim Brotherhood 1991 document. It believes it can conquer Europe peacefully: “After having been expelled twice, Islam will be victorious and reconquer Europe….I am certain that this time, victory will be won not by the sword but by  preaching and [Islamic] ideology.” -Muslim Brotherhood Spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi, “Fatwa,” 2003

“The Brotherhood uses democracy, but once in power it will replace democracy with fundamentalist shariah law because it is the “true democracy.” “The final, absolute message from heaven contains all the values which the secular world claims to have invented….Islam and its values antedated the West by founding true democracy.” -Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef, Nov. 2007 

“The Brotherhood`s view of women`s rights is to subjugate and segregate women: The ideal society would include “a campaign against ostentation in dress and loose behaviour…segregation of male and female students; private meetings between men and women, unless within the permitted degrees of relationship, to be counted as a crime for which both will be  censured…prohibition of dancing and other such pastimes.” -Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna, “Five Tracts”

“The Brotherhood supports Female Genital Mutilation: “[the Americans] wage war on Muslim leaders, the traditions of its faith and its ideas. They even wage war against female circumcision, a practice current in 36 countries, which has been prevalent since the time of the Pharaohs.” -Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef, 2007” [4; emphasis in original]

So wherever and whenever Muslim Brotherhood takes over, women become subjugated.  I guess that would mean that Michelle Obama would need to start wearing a burka.  Women are also subjected to genital mutilation.

Beyond this, those who do not convert to Islam are treated little better than slaves.  They can be mistreated, bought, sold, and essentially have no rights at all.

I could go on and on with this, but the reality is very simple:  we need to earnestly pray that the Lord will provide Mr. Obama with a complete change of heart toward Israel, or that the Lord would be gracious to us and provide us with another president in 2012, one who supports Israel.

As I have stated, I fully believe that a leader who fully supports Israel – not merely in words or lip-service, but in actions – will gain for this nation a tremendous blessing from God.

As it stands now, this nation is coming more completely under the shadow of God’s curse.  We deserve it because of the individual who was elected.  It’s not just Mr. Obama though.  The United States has consistently shown more of a disdain for Israel going back to Clinton and even before him.

The president of the United States sees himself as a peacemaker.  Therefore, he believes he must find a way to bring peace to the Middle East.  The problem of course, is that no one is doing it God’s way.  All leaders are trying to make the impossible happen through human effort and human strength.  They have been leaving God out of the picture.

It is time to stop trying to gain peace in the Middle East and simply stand for peace in the Middle East by standing with Israel.  We do not need to question Israel about this, that, or the other thing.  We simply need to obey God; that we find a way to fully support Israel.

People amaze me.  Israel is such a tiny nation and yet they have continued to exist.  Since God first created this nation, not once has anyone been able to eradicate the Jews.  While the nation of Israel went out of existence for a period in modern times (just as it did on numerous occasions throughout the Old Testament), God and God alone brought her back in 1948.

There is absolutely no way that Israel would be here today if not for God’s protection.  It is asinine to believe otherwise.

Christians, we need to be on our knees, confessing our sin of not supporting the apple of God’s eye enough.  Since He has seen us walk away from our support of Israel, He has seen fit to curse us with a president who is very like a Muslim and whose sympathies toward Islam are very real.

This is the only reason why any sitting president would be willing to reach out to the Muslim Brotherhood, or any such organization that uses terrorism as its gateway to promoting its own agenda.

That would be like trying to befriend the group of criminals who burst into your home one evening, destroyed your family and took whatever they wanted to take.  After they had destroyed everything, killed your family, but left you alive, you decide that reaching out to them for “dialogue” is a great idea.

Look, this has nothing to do with being persecuted because we are Christians, for those of us who are Christian.  This is not a group of Christian missionaries being directed by God to fly into the Amazon to try to evangelize a group of savages. 

What we are dealing with in this country is an outside group of thugs, who have attacked our way of life, the principles that this country was founded upon and through their efforts, have destroyed a good deal.  Whether the Muslim Brotherhood was involved in the 9/11 attacks directly is anyone’s guess.  The truth is though this group and others like them have been directly involved in attempts to bring this country to its knees.

In essence, this is war and war needs to met with resistance where necessary.  Instead, we have a president who is doing everything he can to “dump” Israel and hand the keys to this nation over to terrorists.  Mr. Obama does not see the fight against terrorism as a good thing, so his attitude seems to be “if you can’t beat them, join them.”  I’m not willing to do that and because of that, I’m very willing to take my concerns to the Lord in prayer.

Someone like Mr. Obama does not deserve to be president of this country.  I firmly believe he was allowed to become president because of the fact that this country has been steadily moving away from its support of Israel.  If you disagree, that’s up to you.

Even if you do disagree with my reasoning, I would hope you would agree with me that this country needs a president that supports America.  If you believe we are not under God’s judgment, I would disagree.  If you can honestly look at the landscape of this country and believe that what is happening here is nothing out of the ordinary, then I would ask you to reconsider your position.

Even if you do not believe it has anything to do with our lack of support for Israel, then I would ask that you try to figure out what it is that has brought God’s anger to this country.  Something happened.  If you believe it is simply because of Mr. Obama’s presence in the Oval Office, that isn’t good enough.  There has to be a reason that God allowed him to be elected in the first place.

I believe it has everything to do with this country’s eroding support for Israel.  I believe that if that position changed, so that we began to once again stand with Israel, I am convinced we would see God’s blessing begin to pour out on this nation again.

I hope that you will join me in prayer.  We need to confess our sin, we need to change our mind where Israel is concerned and then I believe God will answer our prayers about getting a new president in 2012.

It was very interesting.  I had a dream the other night that Mr. Obama was calling a press conference to resign as president.  I don’t put much stock in dreams at all, but to see this one come true would be a delight, in spite of the fact that our illustrious VP would become the President.

It seems clear to me that Mr. Obama is intent on destroying this country from within.  That’s been his obvious goal and he is working to bring it to fruition.  He was allowed into office by God in the first place, in response to our position toward Israel.  Mr. Obama’s presidency is merely a natural result of a nation that has turned her back on Israel.  It really is that simple.

God will do what He wants to do, but in the process, He can certainly bless a nation because of their willingness to support the nation that He created.  I hope that you will join me in this prayer.
