Communist Party USA Supporting Obama for Re-election in 2012

To me, this pretty much says it all.  Sam Webb, chairman of the Communist Party USA has stepped up and given his blessing for Mr. Obama’s re-election bid for 2012.  Webb has stated that he believes a third party should be created that would embrace and give voice to “the so-called working class and labor as well as ‘racially and nationally oppressed people, women, youth, immigrants, seniors, gay and straight’.” [1]  He does not believe this will happen in the next year so it would certainly not be up and running by November of 2012.

The reality is that for Webb, he sees much of this already happening within the Democratic party, but believes that for the above-noted people to really have a voice, they must have their own party.  He’s certainly willing and ready to step up with his own group that would be able to create such a party.

Seems kind of weird, to say the least.  Years ago, we saw the “red scare” as this nation lived through McCarthyism, which sought to out anyone affiliated with Communism.  McCarthy became a bit of a pariah, however, years later, it seems that he was right.

Look at our country now.  America is no longer a melting pot.  It’s a cesspool of liberalism and leftheadedness that seeks to overthrow the established order that has been built and exists under the U.S. Constitution.

Neither Communism nor Socialism has ever really worked, yet it amazes me that the people who believe it does, do so while living in a truly democratic nation that affords them the freedom to speak against this country unchecked.  You cannot do that in a Communist or Socialist nation, because free speech is generally not allowed.  Certainly, anyone who speaks against the regime suffers imprisonment, torture, and even death.

I was thinking about this and the amount of lefthead political pundits that fling their manure-laden opinions on TV.  I’ve come to a conclusion that may actually be true.  I can’t prove it of course, but it seems to me that it has the weight to actually be true.

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been involved in acting.  The actor truly plays a part and that part appears to be believable based on how much the actor embraces that part.  In other words, think of some of your favorite movies.  Why do you like them?  Normally, it’s because the plot is decent and the acting is so believable that you are drawn into the movie itself.  This holds true with plays as well.

When I was in high school, we had our debating class.  During the process, you were generally assigned a topic and sometimes even assigned your position (for or against).  It did not matter whether you had actually adopted that particular position.  The only thing that mattered was how believable you were in presenting your position.  The more believable, the greater your chances of convincing the people in the audience.

When I acted in plays, I portrayed some interesting characters.  One in particular was from the play “Mystery at Greenfingers.”  I portrayed the inspector who was a bit haughty, arrogant, and slightly inept.  I’d like to think that’s not me, but I had fun portraying that particular part and many said that my portrayal was very believable.  I can say it was a good deal of fun.

So where am I going with this?  Consider Chris Matthews, Bob Schieffer, Ed Schultz, and a host of others.  They are annoying because of their one-sidedness and their ridiculous and resolute attacks on conservatism.  They are almost unbelievable.

Bob Schieffer has been on the news forever it seems.  I grew up watching his hair go from a solid brown color to the current gray/white.  As I recall, he was never as liberal and left-leaning now as he was then.  In fact, in general, the news was fairly straight-forward.  Did anyone realize for instance years ago that Walter Cronkite was extremely liberal?  You did not really gain this information from the way he presented the news or what he said as he presented it.

News years ago was, by and large, presented in a non-biased format.  Of course, it’s really impossible to present the news without any bias, but there was as little bias as possible.  Now however, news has become very much like a reality show.

News segments seem to have evolved into a great deal of banter among reporters, with a bit of news tossed in for good measure.  Most of the time, when watching the news, you have to put up with the slant of the individual reporting it.

Not long ago, Bob Schieffer, in commenting on the alleged racial overtones from people who deigned to criticize Mr. Obama, stated clearly and vociferously that “it’s all racist!”  The look on his face made you think that he had just eaten a raw lemon, he was that disgusted.

When I watch the news, I want news.  I do not want the opinions of those people who are supposed to be presenting news.  It’s a news program, not an opinion program.

Here’s what I believe has been happening.  From the top, the message has gone out that if people want to keep their jobs in the news industry, they must adhere to the “party” line of the owners of the news corporations.  Maybe it wasn’t stated so obviously and probably was not sent out in memo form because that creates a paper trail.  However it happened, word got out that the more liberal and left-leaning a news host became, the greater the chances for advancement.

Ask anyone who works in journalism.  It’s a dog-eat-dog world.  Journalists are constantly out to get the big story first and with the biggest flare because they know that it will bring them notice.  So right from the start, it isn’t presenting the news for the sake of it.  It is presenting the news so that they will become noticed and begin to advance through the ranks.  Ultimately, most in the news industry want to the top jobs; to anchor the evening broadcast of a news show.  That’s the gold ring and many are willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

In that way, journalists and news shows are very much like actors and a series.  They are willing to sell themselves out to get what they want to have.

A number of years ago, I was helping on a crew to film part of a full-length movie locally.  I didn’t particularly like the director/writer of the project but I had promised a friend that I would offer my help on a specific day.

During the shoot, apparently, the director/writer decided that he wanted to shoot one scene with a girl fully dressed and the same scene with a topless girl.  I had not known about this.  At any rate, the director/writer sent out one of the crew to the group of gathered “background actors” to find out if there was a girl who would be willing to do that.  In short order, he came back with one.  I left in disgust.

The truth of the matter is that she was willing to show her breasts without pay because she probably thought that this would be her ticket to stardom, or at least the next notch on Hollywood’s ladder.  Little did she realize how wrong she was and once she was filmed topless, it was there forever.

I believe that actors do this all the time.  They rationalize that this is how they will get noticed and eventually gain stardom.  Certainly, since there are so many women who seem willing to remove their clothing for their chance at stardom, the belief that holding back will cause a delay in their star’s rise to fame has merit.  So, they wind up compromising any morals they may have because after all, it’s “only acting.”  I’m convinced that this is what those in journalism do as well.  They literally sell their souls to the people who own the news bureaus.

Years ago, I routinely watched Chris Matthews and I’ve noted this before.  He was always left-leaning but he normally presented things in a fair way, as fair as could be expected in a lefthead, liberal environment.

To watch Chris Matthews today, I wonder who kidnapped the real Chris Matthews and replaced him with a lookalike.  He is nothing like he was several years ago!  Now, he is a goof, a spoof of himself and he is so left-leaning that I’m surprised he hasn’t fallen over yet.

This is tragically what the “handlers” want to see though.  Years ago, anything that smacked of liberalism was kept well under wraps.  This is not to say that it did not work to redefine society because it did, but it was far more surreptitious tan anything we see and experience today.

Just recently, VP Biden and those he met with were accused of calling conservatives in Congress “terrorists” and charged with “putting a gun to the head of Congress.”  Of course, Biden denied using the “t” word, then again Biden would deny his own mother if it benefitted him in the political arena.

So now, we are seeing a no-holds barred approach to those who are fiscally conservative and who want to see a balanced budget and tremendous reduction in government spending.  People like myself are called the “t” word.  It’s asinine, yet that is how Communism and Socialism work.

I marvel at how much things have changed in life since I was a young boy.  Never in my life have I come to understand the true meaning of Isaiah 5:20, which says, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”

Folks, this is our global society now.  We have moved from leftheads and liberals paying lip-service to the ideals of the U.S. Constitution to actually attacking it.  They see spending inordinate amounts of money as something that is good and necessary.  They see entitlements as good and those who want to cut entitlement spending as evil.

We have moved into a day when the Communist Party USA has openly endorsed a sitting president for re-election.  Can you imagine if McCarthy were alive now, what he would say and do?

We seem to have passed the point no return.  Communism is on the rise as is Socialism in the Republic of the United States.  Democracy is now being called evil.  The days of logic are gone.  Welcome to Satan’s rising utopia…
